To me God Control cannot be compared to previous tracks from previous albums, this is on its own league despite the 70s recollection that some may associate to Confessions by default.
Thanks.People keep comparing it to Confessions and I don't think this song resembles Confessions at all. There are only this association with the 70s sound

I love her voice in the beginning of the song.. sounds like her lips/teeth are clenched, like she’s angry...gives the song good emotion
Does she have a gun in her mouth? I can see that totally happening in the video

The album is all kinds of perfection.
The only gripe I have with it is the overuse of autotune. Literally, the ONLY gripe. Everything else is on point which culminates into her best and most cohesive narrative since Music.Well, I thought it would be a problem for me too, but I kind feel that it fits the songs. My only problem with this album is that it ends joking apart there are just minimal things I don't get but it is completely irrelevant compared to the greatness of this album. I am in love

I actually thought the same to the point I convinced myself she sampled this from Truth or Dare.
I understand we all know Madonna has this chameleon quality and she can play with her voice. This rap is everything

I am beyond glad for having waited. The whole anticipation this week was actually a beautiful thing and made my first listening experience much richer. I am still listening to the album (at my job, with very low volume) but will listen to it again in full at home today I can barely wait And my double vinly and double CD deluxe edition have arrived!!!! Perfect!!!!!!!

I think this song will get a video. Do you guys remember a snippet where M dances and falls on the floor with the batukadeiras around her? Please Gawd let it be true!!! The first time I listened to this song I couldn't believe my ears
-
Do you guys also think that in the rap her voice sounds like in the BAT times? It sounds to me so early 90s Madonna. God, I was afraid of disliking or not liking this song very much because the hype, but it is much more than I expected.

At first I find it a little underwhelming but after a second listening I think the song is fantastic. It is a chilly disco, I like it a lot
-
This track is wonderful. And the lyrics are not cringe at all, they fit the music perfectly
-
Why is this NOT on the standard version? It could easily replace Bitch I'm Loca or Come Alive (really not feeling these two songs at all). Extreme Occident is pure genius
-
The first time I listened to this song I literally went to gay heaven and came back like a comet when the strings dropped
-
Batuka is genius. Period. These drums got me shaking
-
This song is incredible. I was so afraid this could have turned somehow like Superstar oder Spanish Lesson (sorry people who like them). It is wonderful and touching

It's fucking amazing. Sassy, sexy, aggressive, just an amazing dance song. UGH I LOVE HER
It is amazing! So much fun! I want to quit my job and dance to it right now

I have to say, I wasn't expecting to like this song, specially because I don't like funk...BUT I loved it. It is million times better than I thought and Madonna and Anitta fit perfectly. Really great.
-
I am beyond happy I waited! The experience was amazing: getting up early today and without any pressure and with high sound quality beginning to listen to this wonderful album in full and then still having time to repeat my favorites. I am in awe
-
I am still shaking on the corner after listening to God Control, Batuka, Faz Gostoso, Crazy, Looking for Mercy, Extreme Occident and (after a few listenings) I don't search I find. Amazing album...I didn't see this coming

I prefer “I don’t search I find” over GC & don’t think GC is single material
Well, GC is way ahead the curve so I got what you mean. IDSIF took me a feel listens a d at first I found it underwhelming. Now I really like it but for me GC is not to top. I screamed the first time I listened to it. It is genius
-
Well...this is nice but I need a few more listens...hasn't resonated with me yet...
