    It sounds fishy to me.

Why no Portuguese media is reporting this? There's zero news.
Why would the people who kicked the reader out tell him which artist was there and doing what?
Why would a reader first inform DrownedMadonna instead of going to social media and tell friends and so that Madonna is shooting a video there and generate a buzz?
Did Diogo at least heard the song? And if so, did it made him dance in a different way?

Thanks for the analysis (specially in these fake news times). I also don't believe this rumor because there are no other sources

there would be a big set and a lot of people around for a music video.. I hope this "source" from that fan site isn't making the wrong assumptions. did he see a professional set or  just a handful of people with madonna sightseeing who happen to film her for half an hour..? (like that guy who keeps following her like the gardener Nathan rissman yrs ago)

As much as I wish it is a video, I agree with you and think it is probably a photo shooting or some minor footages for promo

Also keep in mind that this is most likely a fitting because you can see her bathroom in the background, maybe they are in the process of cutting and styling the wigs, the hair of the wig is soaking wet, so I'm thinking this is done while prepping as Andy is restyling the wig to suit Madonna's wishes. It might end up being ultra short, or wavy, frizzy, etc etc. She's hinting, not revealing final looks. Also, she has barely any make-up on her face, so this is FAR from the final look!

Thank you for helping people calm down 🙂

Actually the insiders said that we would have concrete news about the new album in the first "weeks" of January, not that the single would drop necessarily. In theory we could have something in the next few days at this point. So I am holding tight....

All we can do is to hold tight...I also believe we will get concrete news in January

"Hold tight, as long as you're by my side
Hold tight, everything's gonna be alright" 🤭🤭🤭

  5. I am more then excited, but I don't think we should expect too much (like people going crazy about Madonna as it was in the past around every release of hers). Those are other times and - I don't want to sound ageist at all - we know people dismiss Madonna because of her age and don't pay enough attention to her music. Too high expectations always lead to disappointments. I am waiting for new good music and am sure I that am going to have fun and that this album will be fantastic.

I am thrilled about Brazilian influences. I’m obsessed with the country and it’s people and culture. Have been obsessed since childhood. Even learned Portuguese. So for me this is a huge dream come true. Two of my favorite phenomenas in the world, Madonna and Brazil, coming together!!! Even if it’s just for one song, I’m super thrilled!

Wow! That is nice! I am Brazilian and am very excited about this portuguese/ african/ brazilian influcences. If you want to know anything about Brazil, just ask 😉

Absolutely agree :). And to make things worse, I think any prolong period of time without music hurts her career, because: 1) everything is so fast nowadays, that most seem to release an album each year (Rihanna till 2016) or at least each 2 years, so that they are remembered 2) nobody remembers anything these days (short time span) and Madonnas last great cultural moment was 2005-2006 (12 years!) so it feels like re-starting 3) at best the general pubic thinks 4 minutes was the last single 4) she aint getting younger 5) LAP was created in 2 weeks, prolonged period of time without music doesn't seem like its having a great effect on her output

I couldn't agree more. I don't want to start any discussions here if the last three eras were good or not (as each one has their opinion), but in aspects of impact we can't deny that Confessios was her last great era. When a woman artist ages it doesn't get easier for her and it is absolutely necessary to try to make a work that is solid, that is what I miss especially concerning the last two eras. I actually like MDNA and Rebel Heart, but for me it lacks consistency.  I would be a very positive surprise if she changed that with in this new era to come.

Heard that Guy? I know you’re reading this you cunt.

We all hope he heard that 😉

Unfortunately Guy has stopped doing a good job with Madonna long time ago. But I think she is also partially responsible for that. The problem is that artists often get stuck in such situations where it is very difficult to find a new agent, just because it works like a relationship: both parts know everything about each other, get used to each other but somehow stop inspiring each other. There is a chance it works again, but both sides must want it. I suppose the flame between Madonna and Guy has gone...

Honestly I keep seeing all the talk about a suprise release and I think to myself, why. Personally I don't think a suprise release would work for her, she's not Beyoncé and it could backfire. Madonna sells well when she has a record label behind her who go out of the way to promote the record instead of just dropping it out of the blue like some people

Having said that I would maybe like to see her go independent one day, start her own record label and self release.

She could also service a pre- and post-recording agreement to hold the producers, writers, artists, and engineers liable for the leakage, sharing, placement, and playing of the music. Oh and don't email your songs, as email accounts can and have been hacked into. Keep a lock on your computers, phones, and devices.Turn WiFi off too.

That's how I would prevent leaks but i'm not Guy O

You are right but even if Madonna had her own label she would need a big distributor. I work for a label (classical music) and that is exactly how it works. Sometimes it is much more difficult for small, independent labels to be successful than for bigger ones. What she need is more support and specially a good PR management.

I am a speech therapist and vocal coach myself and what I notice is that a lot of songs are sung in a lower key now. For example borderline, take a bow, express yourself, like a virgin, and so on. A lot of artists do this because your voice changes when you age. And there is notging wrong with that because most people won't notice. Her singing technique though lacks consistency. With Joan Lader during Evita she worked on her registers, but M still doesn't have good control over these as you can hear in Ghosttown sung live, when she sings "much" "dust" and for instance with Who's that girl on the Rebel Heart tour. And during a tour she starts to use more and more volume and in Madonna's case adding pressure under the vocal chords. That's when it appears she is yelling in stead of singing. That is why I don't understand they always tape one of the last shows when she clearly must know her voice be better in the beginning. And then there is the overusage and misuse of newly learned techniques. For me it was obvious she worked on twang and placing the voice before Hard Candy because the crow voice started then. The problem was that she used too much twang and sang too nasal. But she has gained more control over that now. The crow voice has kind of disappeared. On the other hand, at least she is emotive in her singing, and that is something you can't really learn. And she gives her all during a show.

Thanks a lot for the detailed commentary! I agree when you write she should tape the tours during the first shows. I actually like very much how her voice sounds now, because the timbre has turned warmer and softer, but she definitely needs to work on it. I noticed also that she is using ( a little to much) a strange vibrato. But I also think she puts much effort and emotion in her singing and independent of her limitations that makes much difference. A good voice doesn't necessarily means that one is a good singer and Madonna proves she can touch people with her singing, sympathy and charisma.

I remember she said that before EVITA she used a vocal coach so heavily to best her voice !  And the press also said her voice was amazing in RAY OF LIGHT because od the training from Evita.
I have to say i just loved her rawness and her almost-masculine voice in songs like RESCUE ME or EXPRESS YOURSELF or ACT OF CONTRITION ^^ haha

I also love her raw voice 🙂 and she had a very good control of it. The problem now is something physiological, as her voice is changing due to ageing.  The vocal cords are muscles and also have to be trained. That is why I said she should have a coach, as her voice is loosing elasticity. One can notice that after she turned 50.

this interview sounds very (!!) promising because :

    - she must be proud of it to allow herself to talk about her music that way
    - Madonna is no liar and she never overhypes her material (unlike some other reductive wannabe)

I think this new album will mark a new departure: BYE BYE" the hard candy/Rebel Heart/mdna...." 10 years of unworthy of Madonna music.

I hope she comes back with something more organic and raw !!

And also, i just hope her voice gets a little bit lower. As she ages, her voice tends to become very high as if mixed with helium...

i would love her to sing with a deeper raw voice:

i'v always loved Madonna's raw deep voice

Actually her voice is getting deeper and she is having trouble with the intonation, all her last live performances show that. I think it would help her a lot if she did some coaching in order to learn how to use her voice after this changes
