Yeah, I feel the same way.

Its funny how when RH came out, I loved it to bits, but over time I lost interest. The only song I keep coming back to is Devil Pray, which was my favorite from the get go.

And now having had a glimpse of what Madame X has in store for us, I can tell it’s a different animal - especially in the production/vocal department. RH has strong melodies, but, in hindsight, there seems to be something missing- hard to put my finger on what.

I understand how you feel. I think Madonna did her best with RH after the leaks but it didn't turned out to be what she really wanted. I love the album though (except some tracks) and despite its sometimes lousy production. But there are some gems there for me, like Heartbreak City, Devil Pray ( i love it too), Best NIght, Iconic, Inside Out and some more. I am sure Madame X is Madonna's "return" to doing exactly what she wants. In about 10 ours I will be listening to Future and I am beyond curious (without expecting too much)

I don't think there will be second leg with stadium or arena venues.

With European shows which will be only 3 cities London, Paris, and Lisbon, General public (not Madonna fans), who don't live in those 3 cities, most likely are not willing to travel to those 3 cities just for attending the shows because they will have to pay for travel expense, hotel etc.

I am wondering if Madame X tour will be lucrative in Europe.

Well, let's see what happens. I just don't believe the tour will be so small. Really, only three cities in Europe?

Which track of RH did sound that way though? With the possible exception of BIM.

Interestingly many people say she was trend-chasing and desperate with Rebel Heart but I don't agree. If she was than rather with MDNA and even Hard Candy (I don't want to start this discussion here btw). Rebel Heart unfortunately suffered a lot due to the massive leaks and it wasn't possible to finish it properly. I feel Madame X is going to redeem RH.

To me, I Rise sounds a bit Rebel Heartish, but much, much better produced and mastered.

So, the cohesiveness that we’re all after, in the end, might have more to do with (1) the flawless production, (2) the way she’s using her voice (vulnerable or asserive, depending on what she wants to convey) and (3) the fact that she’s not trying too hard. The three tracks don’t sound desperate or trend-chasing. Yes, she’s singing with younger partners, but from the point of view of the woman she has become.

I also feel I Rise sounds a little like RH, but as you say, with flawless production. I love it btw. Regarding "cohesiveness" now I am pretty convinced it is a very good idea having different sounds and styles in the album. It fits perfectly the concept of Madam X. And so far I really think the features work very well, much better then in RH, MDNA and even Hard Candy. Medellin is pure joy. Crave is not my cup of tea but she and Swae Lee sound very good together. I am sure the other features will also be organic. I am not a fan of Anitta but I am sure she and Madge will sound good and I am looking forward to listening to Madge's version of Faz Gostoso. I personally don't like funk carioca, but Faz Gostoso (the original version) is good and with a Mike Dean production it will sound probably more "international". Future is soon available and I am open to it

Am I the only one who still thinks every song from Madame X will be different?

I also have this feeling/impression. At first, when we heard concrete infos about the producers and direction of the album, I was a little unsure because we didn't get the feeling that it would be a "cohesive" album, but now that we understand the concept behind it I think it is an amazing idea having different styles and sounds on it. I am really looking forward to hearing the songs on Madame X 🙂

Was only going to to get iTunes deluxe but may be very tempted to get the 2xCD for the extra bonus tracks. Still not sure if I should just forego the extra songs..

I bought both (iTunes deluxe and double CD, and also double LP). Actually because I like to have physical copies of my favourite artists and Madonna is the only one I really buy everything, but I think it will be worth it having the extra tracks too 🙂

Hearing the clip of Future...I’m almost certain that IS what I heard in the Globe Theatre clip I saw...it was muffled and so is this clip so I can’t be 100% sure but sounds similar to what I heard

Is it good or great? (just kidding 😅)

Im wondering about it too. With shows only in big major cities, no smaller cities, with more expensive tickets. General public (not Madonna fans) definitely are not willing to travel out of State just to attend the show.

Well, it has already been discussed that the theater tour is only the beginning. Maybe the theater tour is some kind of "promo tour" and there will be a "second leg" with stadiums or big venues later. Maybe there will be another surprise?

Because they're fucking arseholes. I've said it before and I'll say it again. They actively encouraged fans during the Rebel Heart leak era. They'll do anything to drive traffic to their shitty little website that no one cares about except 38 internet gays.

After the Rebel Heart era I decided not to access Drowned Madonna anymore. Terrible website and terrible so-called Madonna fans.

Nice little video - well shot and edited. She looks absolutely stunning.

Seriously, this video and youthful look could fit with her Lucky Star, Burning Up, Borderline videos. CRAZY.

The song is nice - not really my kinda music style.

That is exactly what I think. Fabulous video, the song is not my cup of tea though. But I really hope the song does well

    Crave

    Future &

    LAP

    If she has 15 mins

I am already praying ( I am like a prayer right now) to this to be true🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Medellin shouldn't be neglected and it would fit Eurovision perfectly

I can not believe she would fly 100 people from all over the world to the Middle East without a signed contract to perform. It doesn't seem logical in the least. But of course its a possibility, but it doesn't ring true at all. And logically she would have sign the contract weeks, if not months prior, because she would have had rehearsed with those hundreds of ppl. Someone suggested that both sides postponed confirming so that there is no negative press on her participating in Israel instead of concentrating on the performance itself. Could be it. As for the contractual issues - could be a pretex to run the will she/won't she story.

This is exactly what I think

Exactly. I think its a PR. Her PR is great this era. In this way there would be huge speculation IF she will indeed perform which would generate more press. No way she is flying that many people to Israel without a contract.

Exactly. She can anytime cancel (despite having to pay millionaire fines) but never in this world would she flight there without having everything wrapped down
