Maybe next time he can send her some demos with a british message.
that quote is from Morrissey, not from Orbit
-
What a fantastic interview.
She surely doesn't mince words
-
He did give her the full hour the other times she was on, no?
-
ugh I'm so out of the loop, I wouldn't even know where to look for these things anymore
I hope it will surface 'properly' soon
-
One of my favourite performances of hers
I'd give a lot for a proper recoridng of this
-
Definitely Super Deluxe and Standard, maybe Deluxe too ... and Vinyl
So almost everything, I guess
-
and women, wonder why?
Just give them time. The general public are slow and Madonna is yet again ahead of time, people just don't realize it
She got so much flack for fighting different prejudices and agendas in the 80s and 90s - just think back. Most of those issues have become accepted by the mainstream since then and surely wouldn't cause that big a controversy nowadays.
She's once again a trailblazer in fighting ageism as, in my opinion, it's not about being provocative and wanting desperately to appeal to younger audiences. It's about the principle. She shouldn't be allowed to express herself freely just because she's 56? Fuck that
*rant over*

I disagree. I heard the demos of VVV, Holy Water and Sex over and over but I prefer the final version. But, in the end, I still think the final version of Inside Out is shitty and messy. I don't hear anything GLORIOUS in the final version.
Guess it's a question of taste more than perception.
+1
one more tiiiime

Gutga would definitely look much bigger next to petite M
She's taller and FATTER

R Seacrest also interviewed her, Nas & Diplo on the red carpet
Didn't have time to go through all threads, so sorry if already posted
-
It's gonna be a modified version of the Grammies.
And I'm convinced she's gonna do promo shows in NY, London & Paris
-
LOVE LOVE LOVE this song
although I prefer the demo version to the final one
-
Queen of the universe
-
Love it, thanks!
-

it's fantastic!!
-
Congrats dubtronic!!!!

I think most of you should take a break from those blogs and comments. You crearlo arent used to negativity. There has always been negativity but you seem to be looking for it!
Enjoy yourselves a bit

Finally got around to listening to ALL demos... Note that this opinion is based on what we have so far, but 90% of these demos sound really, REALLY demo stage and is barely listenable.
MUST-HAVE SONGS
Rebel Heart (best song on the entire album, should have been the lead single)
Freedom
Messiah
Wash All Over Me (obviously; this could've even been the lead single imo)
Joan of Arc
Addicted (remove Avicii sound)
Veni Vidi Vici
GREAT SONGS
Revolution
Borrowed Time (if they remove that Avicii sound)
Heartbreak City
God is Love (but I'm biased -- objectively the song is not good)
Iconic (potential to be one of the best songs on the album)
Inside Out
Two Steps Behind Me (amazing song, come on, this has to be on it! She's Not Me pt 2, powerful piano and beats, angry vocals, it's great)
MEDIOCRE SONGS / FORGETTABLE
Graffiti Heart
Beautiful Scars
Hold Tight
Body Shop
Back That Up (Beat Goes On pt 2? unoriginal)
Nothing Lasts Forever
Tragic Girl
PLEASE NO
Best Night
S.E.X.
Holy Water
you have SHIT taste
-
What's to compare?
They have nothing in common except for being female and recording music.
-
GET A GRIP people ... and a sense of humour
can't believe you consider yourselves Madonna fans ... you probably don't get her humour either
-
I just can't get enough! some of these songs are just too good
Can't get over Nothing lasts forever & Inside out - have had them on repeat for hours - both of them must be on the album
