I love "Messiah" as a track and even single title, but having it as an album title....
I just worry about the thrashing Madonna would get from the press and GP - she's already considered arrogant and pretentious by them, so can you imagine how they would react if they thought she considered herself to be the second coming of Christ?

Could there be a surprise single coming? The Hot 100 is pretty quiet right now - Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" is on its fifth week at #1. It would be a good time to drop a track.

There's an oratorio from 1741 by G.H. Handel called "Messiah" about the story of Jesus Christ. Could this be sheet music for that? If so, I think she might use it like she did The Beast Within or The Act of Contrition - I'm getting major spiritual, religious Madonna vibes now.

Interesting - I didn't know Tracy Anderson got fired because of the whole Malawi debacle. I'd always wondered why they parted ways.

I have those.
The rumors of the MDNA Tour touching down in Australia started in June 2011. More solidified rumors (dates in Europe that were semi-accurate or approximate) started showing up in October 2011.
Madonnarama confirmed in November 2011 the correct booked date for Paris (July 14, 2012). I'd wager the tour itinerary is 90% developed 8 months before the tour's start date.

Based off the MDNA Tour, if they were to start planning the tour tomorrow then the earliest they could start would be February-March. So if they really planning an tour starting in early 2014 (potentially in Asia/Australia), then it's not too early to think that they may already developed an itinerary already!

Since it looks Madonna is becoming quite involved in Detroit, do you think she would ever buy a home there? I could totally see her in one of those grand old mansions on Lake Michigan. Now that Lola's at UMich, she might want a place to stay in the area when she visits. Also, it seems like she's finally gotten over the issues she had with her father, so she may want to spend more time with him and the rest of her family as she gets older. There's just something that seems really sweet about her returning to her roots since she didn't look back for so long.

do you think she will struggle to sell as much as she used to? i mean lot of artists are around with massive tours: Bey+JayZ ( plus B huge solo tour that just ended), Katy Perry, Miley, One Direction...isn't the market a bit over saturated? it sure costs a lot of money to go for a concert...obviously the core fan base will still be there but what the GP will do?
I think the teen/early 20s market is definitely over saturated, but Madonna has always attracted a very broad audience. She'll get a lot of 30-50 year olds in the GP with deep pockets who will come because they grew up with her. There isn't that much overlap with the Miley/1D audience.
Also, many have argued that M is definitely over saturated in Europe - she's had three huge stadium tours over the past 8 years since Live Nation tried to capitalize on any casual fan who hadn't seen her yet there. However, she could easily make up for the shortfall there with a tour of Asia and Australia where (with the exception of Japan) she hasn't been in 20 years. She's actually never been anywhere in Asia besides Japan, so there are huge uncapitalized audiences waiting in places like Hong Kong and Singapore. The Asia/Australia leg alone could definitely make north of $100 million.

A friend of mine who works at University of Michigan has told me that Lourdes has been accepted and she is most probably going there for school! Very reliable source! They had a freshmen event last week! No wonder why Madonna was in the area.

I think, in a kind of weird way, Madonna actually likes the fact that her hands are the only part of her body that's aged naturally. As others have said, there actually are operations people can do to get rid of veins and lines - they can inject botox and fillers into the hands. Since it seems like she's had every other part of her body done, I think this is actually a conscious choice on her part to have one part of her that reflects how old she really is. Also, I bet the gloves aren't a sign that she's ashamed or embarrassed of her hands - I think it annoys her that people focus on them so much and wears gloves in order to keep them from being a distraction.

It would be interesting to have genesis timelines for each tour with announcement dates, press releases, info found in interviews, etc, like the album timelines.

The image was also an incredibly important part of making COADF so great - the whole Saturday Night Fever inspired retro 70's disco theme really became iconic. A big of Madonna's success has always been that she has such strong overall looks and themes for each era (e.g. the original 80's downtown girl for her first album, the retro 50's theme for TB, the Catholic iconography and cone bras for LAP and BAT, the S&M of Erotica and the Sex book, the ethereal asian goddess for ROL, etc), and this was the last of that standard to date. In my opinion, part of why HC and MDNA struggled was because there wasn't really a discernible or clear overall theme in their promotion. Everything about COADF was on point - the leotards, the Farrah hair, the disco balls, and the photoshoots and performances.

So it seems fairly certain that Avicci and Diplo each produced seven songs with Madonna. What I'm interested in finding out, though, is whether Diplo went through and re-produced the earlier Avicci tracks as an executive co-producer for the album. I would LOVE to have another really cohesive album with a main producer like Stuart Price on COADF.

Do you think Madonna and Live Nation have started preparing for a tour already? If they're planning on beginning in early 2015 (hopefully in Asia/Australia), I'd imagine they'd need to start at least six months before the kickoff date.
