  1. I don't know if others think this but lately this forum has been full of people making threads and comments about non-fans negative perceptions of Madonna and therefore giving these opinions credit. It is becoming frustrating to have to keep reading these stupid views on a Madonna fan forum.

    +1

  2. Aww I hope Lola was there. I've always had a fascination with Lola, imagine the pressure of being Madonnas teenage daughter, yet she seems so humble and so intelligent.

    :yes: See seems to be a bit more below the media/tumblr radar the last months, which I think is a GOOD thing for her.

  3. What is a CAA agent?

    CAA = Creative Artists Agency.

    Below an excerpt from a "Yahoo answers page" (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100228105304AAC1Rp7):

    Because CAA and its agents represent writers, actors, and others in the entertainment industry, CAA was innovative and instrumental in "packaging" their clients together so certain films (such as "Rainman" and others) could be made.

    In most cases, agents usually receive about 10% of what an actor or other entertainer earn because these agents are working behind-the-scenes to make the deals and arrangements which further their clients' careers. They are the wheelers-and-dealers behind the scenes so their creative clients can perform and entertain and not be bothered by the "less creative" aspects of building and maintaining their careers. This is the job of the agents at CAA and other competitor agencies. CAA and its high-powered agents and staff also provide supplemental services to their clients which include strategic planning and counseling, financing and financial planning, and consulting, etc.

  4. I am open to whatever comes. Although I do want two things: for her to challenge herself and experiment more with her music as well as a complete 180 for the next album. We've had three dance albums in a row. It's time for a change.

    Yeah, I agree with this. Dance music is what she is known for, but she is also known for switching it up and I think it's time for the latter.

    Indeed, open to whatever comes. "Three dance albums in a row"…well, Hard Candy was not as much a "dance" album as Confessions and MDNA. Of course the term "dance" is rather open-ended (music = dance), but I get what you're saying. Again, open to whatever comes, but hoping for something I would personally not immediately classify as an electronic dance music album.

  5. It's funny how I'm still so sentimental about this song and it's premeire. My 13yo self couldn't have predicted anything close to what this song represents not only in Madonna's career, but my life as well, all these years later. Thanks for the amazing trailer! It made me a little misty eyed. ;'-)

    :kiss2:

  6. That's definitely not Michael Musto on the far left of the photo. Don't know when that film was shown there, but the theatre use to be in Greenwich Village on 8th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue.

    Yeah, I know, the guy in the picture appears much heavier than Musto.

    Wikipedia article states: In 1985, A Certain Sacrifice was released on video to capitalize on Madonna's fame, and in 1986, there were theatrical midnight screenings.
