I don't doubt that M can do this physically, but in this picture, to me it seems that the booty and the upper half of her body are not 'in sync'. The picture seems a bit doctored: the arms or not smooth and to the sides of her waist, the image is slightly blurred. Also the marks - rash? henna tattoo? - on the V-shape part of the "exposed booty" looks a bit off to me....

Could it be an April Fool's joke?

    W O W . . . .

I'm really touched and amazed and...damnit yes, teary-eyed by

    Mercy's S M I L E. :inlove:

That smile is REALLY something else...so incredibly RADIANT. Fantastic. Makes me happy and - this may sound a bit strange - proud of Madonna as a mother. I know I don't actually know the woman, but that's just how I would describe my feelings: happy and proud.

Thanks in advance for indulging this personal feedback from me.:D

  3. Her message is very important here, especially the part where she says don't waist your time & energy on things you hate but use it on things you love ! Even in an internet forum like here we can apply this, comment on what we like instead of rushing to comment on what we don't like, and criticize, bad mouth, and on and on, especially when it's non-Madonna related ! Be happy !

Well, in that case: I like the Tamara de Lempicka artwork of a reclining male with a baseball cap in your signature! :D:yes::kiss2:

  4. I'm certainly happy we are getting an album soon, but I am also happy she's directing again. She's a creative beast and she needs to not be limited to musical output. I feel like some fans would put her in a "pop music cow-milking factory" if they could. Just put hoses on her tits and suck out pop songs until she's emaciated and dead.

I would think people who enjoy her work would want her to feel free and creative so that whatever we get - be it music, movies or writing - is a true reflection of where she is. Not just some processed garbage.

    AGREE 100% :clap::kiss2::inlove:

    Just kidding! :chuckle:

Have you tried to find the magazine on ebay?

    :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm too cheap to bid for a copy on eBay. Especially since I paid for the damn magazine when it was published (but I think I threw it away during a recent cleaning exercise).

I'm just a bit surprised that among this community of "die-hard" Madonna fans, it would not be possible to find the information on the paintings that featured in the pictures that accompanied the magazine article.

So, in my silly obsession to recover this information, I thought that perhaps a change in this thread's title might attract the eyeballs of a fan owning (a copy of) the World of Interiors magazine issue mentioned above….

  6. More of a budget? Compared to Filth and Wisdom. Certainly. But W.E.? I doubt it. Estimated budget was 30 million. And stronger team? I think her team on W.E. was top notch. Harvey Weinstein Executive producer - no need for further introduction. Martin Childs - production design - Oscar for Shakespeare in Love, Jenny Shircore - Make Up design - Oscar for Elisabeth - Celia Bobak - Set decoration - Oscar nomination for The Phantom of the Opera, Abel Korzeniowski - Golden Globe nomination for W.E. and a Single Man - Arianne Phillips - Oscar and Golden Globe nomination for W.E. - Hagen Bogdanski - DP - camera for the Oscar winning movie (foreign language) "The Life of Others". Pretty remarkable line of talent here.

The above mentioned list clearly indicates why W.E. looked and sounded absolutely stunning. I doubt anyone would question that those crafts and the actors did a great job. And if you put the flaws of the script and the baggage that comes with the name "Madonna" aside she did a great job as a director for bringing it all together. And this is what a director does bringing it all together to make your vision come alive onscreen.

Budget was more like $15 - 17.5 million according to the producer Thykier: http://variety.com/2011/film/news/w-e-big-ambition-small-budget-1118042049/
