  1. I think probably between 9th and 20th is my guess.

I keep picturing Jonas Akerlund and his editors drinking venti lattes and doing bumps of snow day & night to finish the edit for iHeart this Sunday night/Monday.

    M. is sitting behind them on a desk with a whip and megaphone screaming "Work, you cunts!"

"You don't finish this video, your bank account gonna be a Ghosttown, bitches."

  2. Adam's music hasn't been played on the radio too much. Only the first single he had. His albums haven't done so great given all the publicity he got from American Idol. His career has never taken off. He's certainly never reached the level of someone like Sam Smith.

It's true. This single will probably get some play, but he only has one top ten hit.

And somehow, he released a Best Of album... :lmao:

  3. A couple more mentions today on Stern (and I will stop updating unless he has a very substantial talk about M. from now on, but these were good.)

Howard was talking about how Jimmy Page and/or Robert Plant won't go on his show because of shit he's talked in the past, and he said something like "That's what was cool about Madonna. I talked about her and she still came on."

Also, a frequent caller brought up how he wasn't interested in the interview or Madonna at first but listened and enjoyed it very much.

  4. A bit of topic but I've noticed quite a few of my friends have only been listening to the first 3 songs on repeat "because they are so good", does anybody else do this? Personally I like to listen to at least the end of WAOM then I've got my RH fix!

I had that same problem awhile ago, although mostly with the first 2. Just adore them so much I couldn't get enough of them.

With so many tracks to digest, I'm slowly absorbing the whole epic. I can now move beyond the first two, although they are my top played in my library still. Iconic and Body Shop closing in though. RH the song is creeping, too.

It's a great feeling to be awash in so much new M. music.

  5. ^ Too funny. Oh, Adam. Even the snippet sounds like cheesy, but he got pretty hot.

I just have to add, I was not a big GT fan right off the bat (just not a ballad person, per say) but I can't get it out of my head. Total earworm for me.

Hope it has that effect on everyone when the video is released.

  6. Mozo, don't leave this part of the forum. Have really enjoyed hearing your views on Madonna and her music here. We need passionate people who love Madonna posting in this section. I know it is hard but just tune out and don't let others stop you posting on this section. Don't limit yourself to the Flop Princess sections.

    I'll do it for you, baby. :) :) :)

    And...

Aw, I want that doggy face.

    And...

Are you kidding me??? People have declared her over for thirty years yet she sits on the pop world's music thrown. Madonna needs to release whatever the hell she wants and just be an artist. She will be fine.

    Yes!

  7. Beautiful Scars could be her most vulnerable song.

I think as a whole, Bedtime Stories is her most vulnerable album.

I think I agree with the latter for sure. I think. I keep changing my mind.

Yes! And what also Mozo said. It's interesting when you look back at her past work. Still believe Erotica feels more personal than LAP.

I am down with that, too.

And thanks, PRPapi for lots to consider and think about.

  8. The main problem with RH is Madonna's whiny fans.

I have to admit, and anyone is welcome to come for me all day and night, but I never thought coming to the M-nation forums during the release of one of Madonna's best albums in years, if not one of her very best of all time, would bum me out so much.

I'm heading back below the surface to the scummy M-nation underworld that is Flop Divas & Princesses. Someone put the lotion if the basket and drop it down the hole from time to time for me. Gets dry down there.

  9. I don't know why, but when I listen to this song I picture her Bad Girl-video persona singing it... So yeah, if the location is NYC, that would be heaven... But I don't want it to be in an abandoned cathedral or anything like that. Like many said before, that would be too predictable.

    So Jonas is confirmed?

    Jonas is (kinda) confirmed.

    Can't wait for this!

  10. Can't stand Michael Jackson's videos except for maybe Scream and even that is just alright

He's the most overrated icon in every category except dancing IMO

    So agree.

Thriller = classic. Everything and every video afterwards? Please.

Everything after can eat a bucket of my deep-fried ass. Sure, BAD (aptly named) delivered a ton of hits. None of them ever played after 1987.

I am sure he has a thread here somewhere. Keep him there.

Madonna's worst are a jillion times better than his best.
