I've only heard it once and I must say I'm not loving it. It's ok but feels like an album track with similar theme to survival.

Still I need to listen to it a few times more as I often change my mind.

Yeah, same issue. Album or bonus track or... I dunno.  I am going to sink my teeth into it this weekend for sure but it's giving me Ghosttown feels

(I know I am one of the only M. fans alive to be meh on GT, but... )

Bill, at least she charts somewhere else besides Top 100. She just got 3 #1s on Latin charts. Next month she’ll get her album debut on BB200. Medellín is still climbing on Dance Club Songs chart to be her 47th #1!

M can’t beat TS, Ariana or even BTS anymore. We’ll just have to accept the fact and move on.

Yeah, let go and enjoy the awesomeness of everything Medellin. The charts are a shit hole of taste-free trash for the most part anyway.

A famous Youtuber here in Brazil did a live reaction to her performance and in the end he was crying.

And he said this: "Madonna moved me because she doesn't need any of it. She does not have to try anymore and yet she spends time and money on a performance just to please her fans and the general audience. She is showing us how to be a pop star that tries, at least, to showcase other than a coreograhy or the same beats over and over."

    I am with him 100%!

    Pop needs MADONNA!!!

    Now I am crying!!! :)

    he's beyond right.

    A. sounds like what other fan base would say.

It’s been almost 6.5 hours, and MI REINA is slaying. May 1 will be another day we get to jizz our pants. I’m all for Maluma. I’d lick any body parts of his rather than his toe. Lmao

🤩 if you're saying I am a Gaga stan, I will find you and at the very least—shit in your bushes! 🙂

And yaaaaay!!! And... holy shiz, he is like arson-hot! Fuuuck!

So much to love about this video!!  I love the scene of her just walking into the room before the song starts - she knows how to make an entrance!  The scenes with the horse and the horse riding are particularly stunning and very cinematic.  I also love the whole wedding section .  Really the whole thing is amazing and stands up to her strong cannon of videos.  Can't wait to see what other visuals are in store for this era- we are still at the very beginning!!

    This, this, THIS!!! It's beautiful!!!

How dare you laugh at my Madonna-misery!!! Do you work under me? You is so fired is!! 🙂🙂

I kid of course. I can't wait to at least read the comments here while slogging through a 90-minute meeting with a client who probably thinks Medellin is in Maryland.

Healthy opinion. Of course we all want the song to be a number one but at the end of the day the real joy is enjoying a new Madonna era. No matter what happens.

I'm sure the song will serve its purpose. Madonna had in mind for months releasing two singles almost at the same time. She knows what she's doing.

Amen to that. And this era and its inspirations are obviously close to her heart and it shows. I would be thrilled if Madame X were reviewed and revered like ROL and LAP were and are.

  10. I am not going to get worked up like I did over RH and its singles performing. I don't expect boring American radio to embrace Medellin and they're ageist as fuck.

Madonna is beyond the sales game. She's got nothing to prove in that arena—she owns it.

I hope Madame X is a smash, but I so far thrilled with the one song I've heard. Enough for me. I am streaming on Amazon though and it wil be cooking all weekend, surely.

And I do feel that this song without Mirwais wouldn't be that brillian. I simply adore the whole production. No wonder Maluma cried. This is the most brillian work he's ever done and I frankly doubt he'll ever be in such a wonderful production ever again.

    Amen, Agree overwhelmingly.

  12. I love it. I've been unable to listen over and over of late, but I was so surprised by it. I expected a tight dance jam and got this simmering, sultry pseudo-ballad.   I love the production, too. And I love how it's such a non-single/not radio friendly —or at least expected. Miles above the shit I heard on pop radio this morning.

    I am down!!! 100%
