Artists, actors, singers are here, on this planet, to make me feel good through their paintings, movies and songs, not to influence me how and whom to vote with. And yes, since COVID, people are more and more tired or uninterested in celebrities' influence.

True…besides the « artists », well Hollywood, I would add in all this Oprah and Vogue America (wintour) involvement ..it definitely did not help …too much commercial « élitisme » …but well around democrat candidate..

on other hand, I feel that the first female american president will be chosen when both republican/democratic candidates will be females.

@Curtains I don't wanna be the party crasher, but it seems that you mixed the results:

1 - The rates are exactly equal to the ones you did at Madonna-Infinity
2 - Madonnanation don't have members with those names; they do

    😅

I was wandering who is Stfan97 , who granted  very low scores to far too many songs,  I mean I was just curious what kind of posts are behind this alias, what kind of “fan” from madonnanation  must be someone who dislikes  so much from Madonna (recent) work. So, I couldn’t find this member. Well, so you must be right, something did not go well....afterall I was quite sure that looking for mercy had some more love here. But well, @courtains will lighten us soon ☺️

  3. Love everything about this song ....is the one that makes for me the strongest connection with what I love about Madonna in the deepest. The gorgeous melody, her unique emotional beautiful vocals, being “in”....but still very special....Madonna POP signature 👏

The outro is stunning indeed.  Actually wish the choir too was used more during the song.

Flip the Switch,  I know.  I do love this song but actually feel that her vocals are a bit off in this.  For the first time ever,  she sounds nasal to me in this.  Madonna never sounds nasal so a bit of a shock.

    +1☺️

  5. Well, I rise and future and come alive are the songs I haven’t managed to get into ...yet...Anyhow, I have the rest of  the album to make my own choices....for the singles and I’m also getting used since mdna.

Otherwise said, I would have loved to get crazy and/or looking for mercy and/or i don’t  search, i find and/or even killers who are partying....

I agree.  M is a ballad master.  We need a Something to Remember 2 some kind of bad.  Susan Boyle remade You'll See and it was shit.  There was nothing special about Susan's version.  Susan can sing very well but it is M that makes her ballads sparkle.  Every M remake that I come across fails the test and that is even more true when it comes to M's ballads. It is the magic inside of M that makes her ballads so beautiful.  You can't practice that.  You can't  learn that and you can't  counterfeit that.

You’ll see ....is a stunning ballad by all accounts...but the fact it was covered by singers known for their “amazing”, high range, voices, Susan Boyle and Shirley Bassey it simply showed (not that was needed) how wonderful vocalist is Madonna....her sensibility has been yet unmatched in this particular song as it was on her all gorgeous ballads. Something to remember is a masterpiece collection of songs....coming from someone often known as queen of the dance floor.
