  1. I really don't think people understand what extreme left or right actually means. Honestly, there is no extreme right or left in the U.S. What's happening in the U.S. is that the right is moving further to the right which is VERY alarming. Historically speaking this always happens whenever a country experiences economic downturns and other setbacks (think post WWI Germany) and the reason I find it to be so alarming and I agree with the person up there who said republicanism is the biggest threat in America is that these types of things happen and people don't even notice it before it's too late (again, think Hitler).

As an example, I just googled "political spectrum" and this is what some people in the U.S. are saying is the extreme right:

    untitled.png

This is so WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG. Fascism is the extreme right and anarchism doesn't really even fall in this spectrum! There are people out there who are SO brainwashed that they think the extreme right means TOTAL FREEDOM. This makes me want to punch something. These idiots think "small efficient government" means extreme right when that has NOTHING to do with far-right politics. Anyone can implement a smarter, more efficient government regardless if they're right or left!

The GOP is clearly misleading people and people are so, so, so brainwashed. If they knew they were slowly moving closer into Hitler territory I don't think everyone would be on board, but they are so brainwashed that even if you try to explain this to them they'll just start spewing pure unadulterated bullshit.

And the reason why I post this is because someone up there is talking about how he disagrees with the extreme left in America even though he's a democrat? I mean, seriously, who the fuck is saying the U.S. government should take over every aspect of our industry and we should do away with capitalism as we know it and redistribute the country's wealth evenly among every citizen? Why in the world would anyone think that it is extremely left to saying, hey rich people, you guys got massive tax cuts back BEFORE September 11th and we're not doing so good anymore, we're gonna raise your taxes by a few percentage points again? How in the world does universal healthcare the same as 1960's Russia?!??!?!?! We're all so mislead nobody is even sure what we're fighting for or against anymore.

Another example of how the GOP is misleading and brainwashing the american people to get what they want: people now universally think Obamacare is the extreme left. Even democrats and liberals call the Affordable Care Act "extreme left."

Um, Obamacare in a nutshell means that everyone needs to take personal responsibility for their own health and pay for their own PRIVATE (capitalist) health insurance, and the government steps in to help our country's most vulnerable people who can't cover these expenses on their own for whatever of a list of reasons through tax breaks, medicare coverage, etc. This is a centrist program with certain socialist elements to it. THERE'S NOTHING EXTREME LEFT ABOUT IT. Ugh

End of rant, thanks for listening.

Universal healthcare as we know it in Canada and several other countries is a program based on socialist, leftist ideologies. It's NOT the extreme left. But Republicans have done such a brilliant job at brainwashing Americans that the vast majority think it's a far-left, communist DANGEROUS program

It will never happen in our lifetimes. The best we could do was Obamacare and apparently that was too left for America.

BRILLIANT RANT. Couldn't agree more with everything you said.

Just look at the reaction people have when they hear Bernie Sanders is a socialist: they automatically freak out, as if it's an insult. They don't even KNOW what socialism mean anymore. You're right, the right wing has done a brilliant job at convincing a lot of Americans that things that are actually good for the country (and for the world) are these evil horrible things that need to be eradicated.

And as you said, they're really entering into Hitler territory at this point. I talked about it with friends a few weeks ago, i told them that when i see the modern day Republican party, i see how the Nazi Party was at the beginning. America need to wake the fuck up and take the Republicans away from power or something REALLY sinister is going to happen at some point.

  2. Oh but they do. They still insist that America before Obamacare had the best healthcare system in the world.

Not even to just America, but the whole world. When you have pretty much an entire party of the worlds biggest super power denying something like climate change its not just a problem for the US, but a global one as well as they obstruct any kind of effort to help fix it or make things better.

And yet again today we have Ben Carson saying that evolution is a theory that was pushed by the devil. Most all of them have lost their damn minds.

Ben Carson is just insane. This guy should be in a mental asylum, there's something clearly wrong with him. Blatant religious zealots like him should never be allowed to run for President.

  3. Slavery-Obamacare-the-law.jpg

This "liberal logic" site is beyond retarded. How the hell is health care for all people a BAD thing? :megamanson:

Also conservatives became so obsessed in their hatred of anything "liberal" that they moved to the far right of the far right. At this point republicans are literally unable of being moderate in ANY WAY and became the greatest threat America is facing right now. And the worst is that most Americans don't even realise it. They don't realise how radical the Republican party has become.

There's also all this talk about "political correctness". I do agree that political correctness exist and it is quite annoying on some aspects. But at this point, just being a decent human being is already being "politically correct" according to republicans. Take Donald Trump: he's nothing but a pure bully, attacking people in the most childish ways possible over nothing yet the conservative medias are defending him because he's not "politically correct", according to them. They genuinely fail to see the difference between political incorrectness and being a complete trashy bully. Yet when a DEMOCRAT dare to be outspoken about things then it is "bullying" and "attacks by liberals".

Forget about ISIS, the Republican party is the BIGGEST threat to America right now. It's nothing but a bunch of evil, ignorant and violent bigots who won't stop until they completely destroy America and the Constitution. People really need to be more informed and take them out of power. But i'm not too hopeful at this point.

  4. I love these republicans that swear they aren't racist because they support one of the rare black republicans that are part of their bigoted party.

Honestly I only believe they support and cheer for them for one simple reason. Because said black person holds to the ideals and principals that they feel will keep the white power structure of America intact. You can almost hear white republicans when people like Ben Carson speak thinking, "This is a good black man. He knows his place."

EXACTLY. Ben Carson is an Uncle Tom, pure and simple. EVERY member of a minority who support the Republicans are Uncles Tom since they support a party viscerally opposed to their very existence. The GOP is entirely anti-minority in every possible aspect. How can any woman, black, muslim or gay vote for the Republican party is a total mystery to me. Those people certainly suffer from some form of self-loathing, that's the only explanation. They don't like the fact that they aren't white, male, straight and christian so they do everything they can to help the fascist agenda of the Republicans. After all, let's not forget that some Jews actually helped Hitler during his reign...

  5. I am for real! When you vote for someone, you are not voting just for their opinions and policies, but whether you think they have the personal qualities to do the job. I agree the most with all of Bernie's political opinions. But being President is a tough job that requires a lot of stamina and force of personality to work with Congress and get your policies enacted. I don't see that Bernie has that for a lot of reasons not just his age, but he was kind of an outsider and outcast in Congress. How many bills did he get passed?

Say whatever you want about President Obama, he gets things done! He passed the health care bill and the nuclear agreement with Iran. He has a certain energy, personality and charisma that makes him able to put his policies into action. I don't see that Bernie has that.

Ok... Let's agree to disagree i guess. I do agree with you when it comes to Obama though. But try to be more open minded when it comes to Bernie, you can't know how good of a President he would be. I really think he would work hard to get things done, he's always been consistent. He's one of the few genuine politicians out there, he would do a lot of good to America if elected.

  6. She ultimately is in a way. It's pop music, so her best songs are invariably singles - particularly in the 80s she was a singles act. In the 90s she became more of an albums artist.

She does have at least 2 classic albums though, which is better than most pop acts. There's nothing wrong at all with being a singles act.. TIC sold for a reason.

Completely disagree. Most of her album tracks are as good as the singles if not better. Most of my favorite Madonna songs are album tracks.

The simple idea that Madonna is a singles artist is completely laughable imo. Her discography is one of the best out there, a lot of people just don't give it a chance because of her reputation. She gave us solid albums since the beginning. I do think that she started to be more "artistic" in a way in the 90's with her albums, starting with Like a Prayer (i know, it was in 1989 but you see my point). I guess most people don't take her earliest work that seriously.

  7. I honestly don't like any of these candidates. Hillary is tired and Bernie is too old. I wish President Obama could run again. Is it late to change the Constitution!

He said he could easily win a third term! No wonder with these losers around!

Are you for real? You won't vote for him because of THAT? :manson:

I don't understand when Sanders supporters say things like "Well I GUESS she's better than Trump" re: Hillary. This happened on Facebook a couple of times this week. Are you fucking kidding me?

I respect that some people don't like her because it's politics as usual, Wall Street ties, etc. but she's NOWHERE near the Republicans on gay rights, abortion, living wage, etc. And let's face it, the social issues are all this current batch of Republicans care about. They will undo everything Obama has done and possibly try to lead us toward a theocracy, especially if we have a Republican President AND Congress.

Someone earlier said that a Republican can't win, but remember: the old bigots ALWAYS vote. The Dems don't always vote. And they have to this time, truly.

Whether it's Clinton, Sanders, or Biden, it's a lot better than the clown parade on the other side.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! Completely agree. The Hillary bashing became more and more ridiculous with time. I'm not the biggest fan of her, i don't agree with some of the political choices she made but people are constantly trying to portray her as this absolute monster who's as bad as the Republicans. Ridiculous, just ridiculous.

I mean, i saw some Bernie supporters saying that if Hillary get the Democratic nomination, they'll vote for the Republican candidate instead. Or some people saying they'd not vote for her because "they're tired of political dynasties". I just can't believe this kind of shit, it's beyond absurd. People need to vote based on reality, not emotions. And the reality is: if a Republican get to the White House, we can say goodbye to America.

  8. Also its amazing that an older man is clicking with soooooooooooooo many young voters. They love the guy. I cant see young people rushing out to vote for Hillary or being excited about her at all.

I break with ULIZOS when he says he doesn't care who wins if Hillary is the nominee. Again I will still be voting for Hillary. The thought of one of those nut bag republicans getting to appoint people to the supreme court makes me ill.

Also don't know how true it is since Biden seems to conflicted on if he is running, but there have been rumors of a possible Biden/Warren ticket which I would love also.

Couldn't agree more. I understand that some people don't like Hillary but voting Republican just because she could be the Democratic candidate is completely retarded. At the end of the day, Hillary would still be better than ALL Republican candidates combined.

Now i won't be able to vote since i'm not American and i hope Bernie will get the nomination but i really hope that if Hillary get the nomination, people who supported Bernie will vote for her instead of the Republican candidate. It's a question of common sense, Republicans are a pure group of theocratic fascists at this point and will ruin America if they get to the White House.

  9. would it make any difference if doris won?

Not really. At the end of the day Madonna is still the most successful female artist of all time and Gaga is still a desperate wannabe past her prime. Billboard really lost ALL it's credibility since years now.

  10. And Pud are you pulling our dongs again about liking Ben Carson?

The man is a fucking soft spoken lunatic. Without a doubt one of the nuttiest people running and that is saying something.

Tell me about it! ALL Republican candidates are nuts but Carson is not only nut, he's very dangerous too. He doesn't have any political experience, doesn't have any political KNOWLEDGE and he's a religious freak wanting to turn America into a theocracy. He also called Obama a "psychopath" for no real reason (typical right wing projection i guess). He's also a virulent homophobe, which is not surprising, all Republicans are. I mean he thinks people "turn gay" because they go to jail :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I can't stand Donald Trump but even he seems almost normal and moderate compared to Carson.

I really think Bernie would be an amazing choice for President, he has a LOT of good ideas and he's genuine about them. In any case i hope the Democratic candidate will get to the White House no matter what. The Republican party at this point is nothing but a bunch of extreme right wing fascists waiting to destroy America at the first chance they get. It would be a pure disaster for America if any of them would be President at this point, they would bring the country back to the 50's. They would probably appoint new judges at the Supreme Court too.

  11. People love to put down disco and pop music to try to pretend to be edgy and cool but they usually secretly love it. Making great pop and disco music is more challenging and harder than people think. Timeless great pop music is still loved after decades, much more than some of the tuneless depressing indie stuff that is remembered for a year or two.

    Totally agree

I like indie music but the genre has become very overrated. And pop music became underrated, since so many people act as if it's shameful to like it.

To answer the OP, no i personally think True Blue is her gayest album. It's probably her campiest album.
