the newspapers don´t talk about this anymore: has this protest finished?

No, it's still going. Talks with government have failed and I believe the plan is to wait until everyone is tired and the situation goes back to normal by itself. Which is a scary game to play as people are seriously fed up with not being heard or considered.

In light of Orban and Vuchich (proRussian puppets) wins, a win for Le Pen in France would be a huge blow to the West and EU. Judging by the recent polls, Le Pen (who was at one point directly financed by Putin) could very much win the presidency and as a result kill the EU - at least in its present form. The salope would hand over Europe to her greatest pal. In that sense, I really, really want Macron to have a huge victory. Let us remember that Putin organised the yellow vest protests just to spite him. Macron has been the leading force/voice of Europe, especially after Merkel who's decisions come back to haunt us. A EUcentric France is vital for Europe at this very moment so hopefully gorgeous and sexy Macron is reelected.

The problem is that even if you wouldn't want to vote for Macron again, you'd feel inclined to do it because of all the reasons you mentioned and to stop the far-right, again. The election becomes rather unauthentic when people vote like this. I'm not sure Macron would be the best, but he's certainly the least bad choice when the rest is either useless, incompetent or dangerous. Yuck.

  3. I seriously don't know what everyone has been making a fuss about. The performance was underwhelming at best, but it was no way a disaster. Probably not what a Eurovision show should be by its standards, but I thought it was well crafted and tightly choregraphed, despite everyone saying there is no choreography. Madonna didn't want it to be a simple dance number and wanted it to be meaningful. Good for her and I'm sure the Madame X tour will incorporate some of those stunning visuals. Madonna and theater is a match.

My heart almost exploded when he rattled off "I'll Remember", "This Used To Be My Playground" and "Rescue Me"... THEN SHE QUOTED LYRICS FROM "RESCUE ME" ON THE FLY and said it was dope.

I think she may have considered it at some point, She started to say "Actually I've..." before saying "I'll consider it". Remember she posted lyrics of it on Instagram, so... Let's hope! 😁

    I'm SHOCKED!

This was in my FAcebook timeline and I thought it was some video from a guerilla from some forsaken country! If Macron thinks this will help calm the country down, then he's more delusional than I thought!

These students got arrested after they burnt cars, assaulted people and destroyed pretty much anything they could find on the street. NOT feeling sorry for them, at some point it has to stop. These retards think that because they're in democracy, they have the right to do whatever they want. The movement got out of control and tomorrow is expected to be even more chaotic. The most extreme of them want to break into the Presidential residency and get Macron's head, that's how sick they are in the head. 😐

  6. People's anger has been increasing for years and all that was missing was a few people taking a stance publicly to start the fire. Even more than fuel prices, the most scandalous thing with all of this is the hypocrisy with climate change and actions that governments supposedly take to fight against it. It's just a matter of taxes but with no solution offered at the end, so people have to pay when they can't do otherwise. They feel trapped. Yet they don't ask big companies to change their model or invest in alternatives. This has been going on for years.

Now the chaos has spread in Paris and other cities, and they want to come back next Saturday. The same thing will happen unless something is done, but what can the big chiefs do... They don't want to remove any taxes and they claim to have already done something for the poor and low wages. Both sides won't listen to each other because this has been going on for years in politics. I believe it's not only Macron but also previous presidents who have done nothing, and he pays the price for it.

Well if it weren't for Le Pen people would be booing Macron.  This new era of mongers in presidency or about to reach it is making people accept turds. Like right now Merkel seems a good politician while in fact she's responsible of the disastrous situation of the EU with her cutting budget politics that clearly don't work!

The problem is that this time, people don't want to accept it and it's making Le Pen get closer... They really are both not liked at all. I understand the dilemma between voting against or voting for none...
