  1. I was secretly wishing she'd sing Joan of Arc (album version) at the last show and release it as a single with a live video, showing the fans because it's perfect timing in her personal life and would be a great tribute to her fans "Anything they did to me, said to me, doesn't mean a thing 'cause you're here with me now".

I don't ever want this era to end.

  2. Demo version = yes... favorite song from the entire Rebel Heart era.

    Album version = HELL no.

Yes yes yes yes yes!!! I'll never understand why this perfect song was destroyed the way it was. Thank God for the demo, because I don't think I'd ever appreciate it if all I'd ever heard was the album version.

That fucking bridge in the demo... perfection!!!!!!!

  3. YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!! There were so many fantastic, unforgettable moments to this era (her best ever) but my very favorites came from the LFL video and performances, including the little backwards dip she does in the video after the first chorus and right before she sings "I could get caught up in bitterness". That is an absolutely classic Madonna move. And then there's what I like to call the bimbo dance ( :chuckle:) during the Grammy performance where she shakes her hair out. Absolutely adorable!!

God, what an era this has been. A year of some of the highest highs I've ever felt. Two words, "Rebel Heart", became a part of me forever.

  4. The time in her life, the place that she resides in in terms of the persona she carries, all of that was channeled into sheer gold with the Rebel Heart demo. To me it's magic in a bottle and it was not used like it should have been.

That song followed by Ghosttown and then maybe LFL or BIM or UB would have been huge

Agreed!!! I also think the BS demo would have been a great single. But yeah, the RH demo was a perfect pop song. Just perfect. I have envisioned the video in my mind a million times and, like Beautiful Killer from MDNA, it was a tragic mistake not to release it.

  5. :inlove: this. every.single.word.

There rarely goes a day without me listening to at least a few songs It still feels so new.

I don't feel like it will ever get old. At least not for me. Between her voice and the production, the songs create so many different atmospheres, especially some of the demos like Beautiful Scars and Inside Out. It's quite simply the most aurally pleasing music ever crafted.

  6. I just can't believe it's been a year. Everything about this album and era, other than the way the leak and release was handled, was perfection. I was so completely engrossed in these songs and the demos. It was feeding my soul, basically. Everything I needed in my life at the time. It touched every nerve, every emotion. I connected with it on a different level than any of her previous work, or anyone else's for that matter. It will ALWAYS be my favorite album of all time. I still listen to at least some part of it every day.
