Sadly Madonna thinks she is good at "multi tasking" and maybe she used to be....... but I think a few of her somewhat recent albums suffered because she thought she could do it all.
MDNA is a pretty decent album but I have a feeling it could've been better if she focused on it more, instead of directing/editing a movie.
If M is not good at multitasking, this makes her..what? a woman with limited skills? enlight me..thanks in advance

...I’m just left wondering how Cher and Janet have grown old gracefully?....I assume the guy is talking about their music??
so our question is: how Cher and Janet have grown old gracefully in their music? lol and what does this mean? at 60 you can't talk about sex, abortion, political issues?

I feel so sorry for people who are creating such articles. They have so much bitterness in their heart.
Why don't they just enjoy their life?
because their life is a shit and they feel better when they spit venom on others.. but they're deluding themselves ..lol

It's most likely fans of other artists who have it in for Madonna because she's sits alongside Elvis, Michael Jackson and The Beatles - The biggest selling artists in the world.
They don't think she deserves it, and will do anything to try and tear her down. Crap like this always happens before she releases a new album. So pathetic.
This. If it's a lie , it's very pathetic because you can feel his/her prejudice against M through all the review.. very funny is the part when he/she describes her fanbase pro-choice..so we couldn't agree with the theme of the song..obviously he/she doesn't know she made PDP lol

The negative bullshit has already begun...
If this is real, I don't find it "disturbing". It's his/her personal opinion but I'm focused on the info she/he gave us and I find them interesting.

We learned that the studio images / updates she posted weren't in real time, leading us to believe she's actually been in the studio longer than we realised.
Yes, she has always played with her posts..not only with the music info..she doesn't post right after she does things

All of this ... Madonna is always molding the sound and visuals of a performance to suit her purposes and artistic vision. Like a Prayer incorporated a Latin chant — and this wasn’t just slapping the MDNA (Virgin Mary) opening on the beginning and performing the LAP MDNAT arrangement. This was a brand new arrangement (“Vita mysterium...”) ... and the piano was very present during the snippet, likely because the piano was so prevalent in the presentation of “Hallelujah.” We know nothing about the studio version of “Beautiful Game,” really. Just that melody and the lyrics. The production may (and likely will) sound different.
The “... I might get burned...” lyric is probably the touchpoint reference and reason “Beautiful Game” was included in the medley ... Joan of Arc reference again (being burned at the stake).
I agree

People evolve..M has evolved as an artist. ..Mirways 2018 is probably not the same of Music and AL.. M was never scared to change her music..she chose the producers she wanted because she felt they could be the right ones to help her express herself.. an album is not a cookie recipe and she's not the artist who would use the same ingredients just because they were successful in the past...

I've always thought there was a "connection" with Stuart Price and, of course, with Diplo, but a sexual thing.. lol

Great that I’m not the only one who thinks that. I’ve been talking about this since that MDNA skin dancing audition. What does dancing have anything to do with the beauty line? OF COURSE it’s for the new era and she’s just incorporating it into promoting her beauty line as well. Nothing wrong with that and I’m glad she’s smart about it.
yes.. she has known very well the marketing tools since the beginning of her career and it's one, among billions, of the reasons I love her

Has it occurred to any of you that she may have been doing both? She could be working with Klein on a music video, photo shoot for the album cover, etc., and at the same time use some of it to incorporate into her beauty line. There’s nothing wrong in that! Just like that dancing audition she was doing. I’m more than positive it was for selecting dancers for this new era, but she went with it and used it to promote MDNA Skin as well. I could get money this is the case with most of what you’re seeing and she’s just trolling you hoping you’ll think it’s all just for the beauty line.

Wtf are some of you saying that she has more fans in Italy than in the US? Are you for real? Do you realize that she's the most successful solo artist of all time on the Billboard charts only behind the Beatles?
She has struggled due to her age and the super competitive nature of the market, but in the last 13 years 3 out of her 4 lead singles still hit the Top10 on the Hot100.
I agree with you and I don't understand the role of Italy as a benchmark..lol maybe because we have a lot of food, wines, clothing lines copied everywhere and therefore we like the real deal and not some copy that tries to stay around but yes..we love her

Where do your numbers come from? Her tour audiences and actual records sold point to a serious contradiction.

I'm starting to have a really good feeling about this, i mean, the hints are there. First of all they are serious about keeping it secret this time around, so it feels like they don't feel the need to build uo anticipation artifically. If she really did auditions for the dancers that means: 1. They have a vision already for the first video (the last time they auditioned was for "hung up") 2. They already know what the first single is even though the record is not finished. So they have a song they believed in early on. (the way they weren't sure about living for love, how to handle gmayl or ggw, and candy shop/4 minutes, to me, says everything). Finally i'm thrilled with the fall release. All 3 past albums were released in spring when it's safest because of no competition. And that also means there will be at least some months of proper promotion before the tour can start next summer. I just hope they manage to keep it under wraps until then.
It's easy because she has not to deal with a hacker

Morocco participated only once in the ESC in 1980. Egypt is member of the European Broadcasting Union too, but never entered the ESC (like Algeria, Lebanon, Jordan, Libya and Vatican City).
Thanks for the info ;)

Well sure, there's still some drama involved, but to the most part it's a peaceful show without pushing any political agenda. If it was all about politics, Israel would have never won the contest yesterday (let alone Russia ranking in high positions in the last couple of years).
Anyways, my point was that I don't get many fans' apathy against M performing on a show like Eurovision. In 1990 it would have been odd indeed, but by now she's been on so many tacky TV shows (Dancing With The Stars anyone? Marriage Ref?), joined Miley Cyrus on stage to hump her, and 'collaborated' with Kim freaking Kardashian in order to sell a can of cream etc. etc...
But she hasn't gone there and probably never will, so yeah, case closed...
when was she on "dancing with the stars"?

They won't participate as long Israel is in the contest. Morocco did it once, when Israel didn't participate. Anyway, with the pro gay allure of the contest, I don't see how Morocco would even broadcast it. Even if they have the gayest king on earth.
You're right

Israel is in the ESC because they are a member of the European Broadcasting Union - just like other non-European countries like Australia, Morocco, Lebanon, Egypt and Jordan.
but I have never seen Morocco and Egypt as contestants

but it's very much political with all the boos Russia 's songs for example is getting every year after the Ukrainian crisis and when exactly Israel or Australia or Turkey were a part of European continent? United Europe is a joke even in this circus Eurovision is
Israel is in the contest because Europe wants to clear its conscience after the holocaust.. also the way they vote is political..not about the songs but about alliances

Think of it as a relict from postwar europe that especially people 50+ like to watch, and of course the gays. It‘s over the top, tacky and dramatic and often cringeworthy. It‘s a platform for emerging artists to gain lots of attention and fifteen minutes of fame. in a way similar to American Idol (or Canadian idol, if that exists).
Having M perform there could be seen as desperate, although it would guarantee maximum exposure in all of Europe if not the world. It would be good, but in a way well below her league
Very well said

I agree with you both.. in summer people are more carefree..they don't watch tv, also because there is nothing to watch.. but in summer you want to hear music during your holidays.. at the same time, we have also to consider that the new media are always with us, if we want to stay connected everywhere..so you can get news about a new album and , mostly, about a great album
