Yeah hopefully some great stuff coming up. That avicii mix tho, from what I gather was a very last minute affair, done almost overnight in fact, with him layering the acapella over a pre-existing track I believe. I don't think he even played the remix in any of his sets outwith that appearance with Madge...so I'm expecting much much more than that from an actual proper collaboration between them.
True. He said that Madonna's camp gave him only 3 days to put the remix together which is why it isn't a "real" remix and hence why it is Madonna vs. Avicii instead of Madonna (Avicii Remix) because he did, as you say, use an already existing track. The same track, I discovered, is used in a Yoko Ono remix, too. Additionally, I'm not afraid as many others because Avicii is uniquely talented in this field - not just my opinion. So I have trust this collab, too.

I don't know why MDNA is considered by many to be sub-par. I think it is fantastic. The more I listen to it with good headphones, the more I notice parts where they clearly put thought into it production-wise, for example. There simply was no promotion campaign to create a narrative for the songs with the public and thus created a vacuum in which pop songs cannot exist. But, that's all.

they even included the word "vogue". they knew very well that we'd think it's a madonna track, especially with the "we have to keep it quiet"BS while the song was already online since february. they must really have felt like pissing of madonna fans.
Maybe GaGa paid off Billboard to fuck with us.

Now that this We-R-Superstars business is out of the way, can we please demand that they release-and-promote I'm Addicted, GangBang, Some Girls, and Love Spent. I still not finished appreciating those and I think that it is a crime that THE WORLD has not been exposed to these songs.

honestly, she did say the album would be connected to artforfreedom. maybe this really isn't a traditional album. maybe it will be released through artforfreedom in some sort of way. like a web only kind of release. who knows.
I'm thinking: why not. It's not as if M will pull Beyoncé or Adele numbers; and regular albums are non events now, anyway. Maybe instead of non-traditional promo, we can have a non-traditional distribution.

A good old fashioned scandal would make everyone happy. She'd be in the public eye with little effort (instead of drudging about on the boring-as-fuck interview circuit) and we would get to see more of her. CNN is always good for free publicity.
