I do want new music. But for me, if M never release a song or even worse, if she records a terrible CD, I don't care!

I was happily surprised with MDNA. I think it's zillion times better than HC, in my opinion.
So, I go by the words: There's light after dark!

Madonna doesn't want to and doesn't need to please anyone. I'll take whatever she wants to present.
If I listen and don't like, I'll go back listening to her great songs or just listen to the ones I like on the CD.
HC I just listen to Miles Away and Devil Wouldnt Recognize You, for example.

God what is WRONG with those people? They treat madonna like she's some sort of paris hilton and totally superficial and untalented! I hate those ignorant bastards! the fact that some of those stupid disney kids or even gags get more respect than her these days is just sickening!
Well, I didn't take it seriously.
I think it was just a funny article about M's AMA, making fun of her...
Not really a critic or something really serious, or written by anyone who didn't mean this to be superficial.
I know it's stupid, but that's what I laughed about.

Didn't care much about the blablabla, but loved all the images of Madonna!
And that part about Girlie Tour on Brazil, when she sang and cursed "bunda suja" I've bursted
into tears remembering when I saw her for the first time 20 years ago!
That was worth it for me!

I read somewhere Mika said Madonna changed Bang bang so much that he couldn't even say it was his music.
The Beat Goes On has Madonna trademark all over! In fact, i wish she had been more playful and called Stephen Bray to make a 12" extended, you know. Just for fun and for fans. And called Donna and Niki to sing too. It would sound as another song from the WTG soundtrack!
I am all for the fun in Beat Goes On, and you're right, lyrics sounds like Madonna.
But I don't like the hip hop melody of HC. I prefer Madonna when she sounds more dance and pop.

Well, hope people don't hate me for what I'll say, but, Madonna herself called her in some interviews more of a dancer and a performance artist.
We know she sings, she writes and is really involved with her music (writing, producing...). And has a very strong idea of what she wants to present.
For me, I admire Madonna because she always brings creative people and material to make a better product.
Sometimes it feels like it's just for the money and there's a lot of pressure for new records and tours ( after all it's all business).
But I think, besides that, Madonna still put her input., sometimes more, sometimes less.
Nowadays, how many artists are recording great music with great, personal songwriting in pop music? And as regularly as her?
MDNA sounded more her to me. Credit for choosing songs that "fitted her shoes" and making them even more personal.
But HC, apart Miles away and Devil I don't get that personal vibe from Madonna.

For me would be:
Blond Ambition: I was only a 12 old girl from Brazil. At that time, seeing Madonna was like impossible! Wish I had attended this masterpiece.
Confessions Tour: Fucking awesome Tour! She did'nt came to Brazil with it and I didn't had the money to fly to America or Europe to see it. Shame!

I'm so upset Guy ignore all our questions about Madonna and the DVD.
It makes me think he doesn't know who is looking forward to buy it.
Let's face it, besides the fans nobody is so excited for this release... There's so much going on now on music...
It would be great to have a release date. And would help marketing it until it came to the stores.
And Alex, a preview, like you suggested would be even better! And make some buzz about it on the media.

When I saw the show live I remember that NKM video was so intense I was completely drawn to it!
And I just wished those guys would stop jumping up and down so they'd stop blocking my vision. Hahahaha!
