  1. Well, I've been blowing the music director of a local station trying to convince him to play her but he keeps saying the playlist is based strictly on research results among their target audience. The opinion or taste of employees doesn't count. I don't know what else I could do.

I wonder exactly what this 'research ' entails. Has anyone on this firum ever been randomly selected for radio 'research'. I think it's all bull. There is an agenda and that decides the singles charts pretty much

  2. In the same way that I want my favourite movies to be big hits (and therefore can talk about these movies in everyday conversation with non loons), then yes I want M's good music to have great success. The day she starts making shit music or deliberately non-commercial songs then fine let those singles flop. But she earns the right to success by making quality stuff that is still commercial.

  3. Yes under her LN contract she needs to do one more studio album... question is, is 2017 really the deadline? i doubt she can have another studio album in 2017, she intends to start on her new movie after the tour...

I thought it was another album, not necessarily studio. She will prolly do GHV3 to shut them up with zero promo.

  4. Hey guys, someone posted an article about the Madonna fall where a female journalist defended her...sort of. Can't find the link but basically they said she showed what a great feminist she was but that they were never enamoured with her 'lightweight pop' career. Don't know about you guys but, while she's no Radiohead, I find she has plenty of adult orientated and deep songs. Which songs would you list to refute this allegation, as examples of her 'intelligent' or 'deep' songs?

  5. There are so many good songs that could be released as singles, but what's the point if she can't even enter the official charts of any country around the world? It feeds the haters. It's really upsetting they do nothing to push her music.

True but it just takes one spark to light a flame. If Ghost Town catches on like some people think it could, there will naturally be more singles released and charting. Good thing is the potential singles on this album are so massively different that you never know what's gonna catch on. Personally I think Iconic could catch fire on so many levels.

The problem with LFL is, despite the fact it's a quality song, I don't know who it's aimed at. Her 4 Minutes-fans couldn't care less, her ROL fans roll their eyes, Those who want her to be age appropriate won't be interested and the dance club fans have David Guetta type repetitive shit or 'featuring Rihanna' type excrement to download. That just leaves a few fags and old school dancepop fans
