People are jealous of her success. U know why people like tragic artists? Because they make them feel better about themselves. As for m, they only feel worse when being compared by her success. Like I said, if all she wanted was VIP treatments, she could have stayed in a hotel in NYC or other civilized countries, not that. S**t hole.

I can't believe m has to take s**t like that for trying to help. Come on, VIP treatmen. tshe doesn't need to be there. If she wants VIP treatments, she could have stayed in a hotel in ny or any civilized country, not that s**t hole!! If she just wants publicity, she could pick any African country n they will welcome her with open arms n praises. She is still there because she is m and she doesn't give up easily in spite of hardship.

Out of curiousity, I just checked which picasso m owns because a picasso can vary in value depending on the object and quality and the reconignition of the painting. In fact, her picasso painting entitled " a portrait Dora maar", a painting she bought for $5 million us many years ago! A similar painting entitled dora maar was sold in 2006 for us$95.2 million, the 10th most expansive painting sold in history. U guys can check them out if curious. If just one of her painting is worth close to 100 million, I would be suprised if she is not yet a billionaire. Don't forget she has Dali, Frida, and a few Andy Warhols' ( the paintings were gifts from Andy to madonna for her wedding with Sean. ) depending on the quality of the painting...I presume the painting might be a portrait of m. Eight Elvis by Andy Warhol was sold for 100 million in 2008. However, there is no way we know what are the paintings like or worth unless madonna reveals them to the world.

Forbes should be shameful of themselves claiming to be a "buisiness magazine" n came up with unverified financail numbers. Based on thier article, All they could say is they have no evidence of her being a billionaire.. They have no proof to say for us she is not! Even M herself might not know. Who knows much her art collection and other non liquid assets are worth? What about her royalties( remember, every time we hear a madonna song on the radio, in a movie, tv series (devil wears prada/ in glee ect) m's wealth expands Stock holdings? Real estates from overseas, bonds and interest? What are her contracts like with live nation n vita coco n intercope? He much did she get for maverick? With so much uncertainty, how could Forbes declare she is definately not a billionaire n only half way there!

They also failed to calculate interest. If she had 300 million n if she invest in the safest us treasury bond, she could get almost 15 million a year without working. What about royaties?

One of the big problem of the article is that it based their calculation on thier false estimation 6 years ago!! Yeah, if she only had 350 million 6 years ago, she might not have 1 billion now. But they never accurately estimate her art collection n other investments 6 years ago. A calculation based on a false premise will always be false! I believe she might probabaly not be a billionaire if her sole income was her concert n records. But sometimes investment in stocks or companies n art collection can have higher yield. Like I said before, a Piccaso painting can be worth up to 120 million n Andy Warhol paintings 50 million each!! Also, who know what is the deal with vita coco n maverick. It could contribute to a big portion of her wealth. The problem with Forbes is that they failed to get it right the first time 6 yeas ago.

I am not sure about what happened a few years ago...but I have a feeling after the Super Bowl n lady gaga comparison, a lot of teenagers now know her songs better. In fact, America was one the most forgetful country in the world. I remember I was listening to the radio the day Whitney Houston died, one guy called the station to talk about his encounter with mike from jersey shore n how much of a scene he caused...and when the topic turned back to wh, he had no idea who she was, and referred her as the African American female singer just died.... I guess the lesson is this: throughout m's 30 year career, there were times when she was relevant in the us, and times when she was not, ESP during the period she lay low.. But in order to be remembered here, a singer has to make the news constantly n make a scene from every few years..

I believe she has been a billionaire mayny years ago. Only her art collection is worth a fortune. A painting by Picasso can be sold for 100 million n m has at least 3 paintings by Andy Warhol n many more.

Look to the future, I can't wait for the meltdowns when m's secret project comes out before artpop n it is about art and revolution.
If m really do something big about art n revolution, someone would be furious.coz m will totally steal her thunder. For one, m personally involved with many American artists.....Warhol is one example. This would make the other pretentious project about pop art n music amature-ish, superficial n contrived as what m has is an authentic history in the world of American art. Beside, m' s project will come out earlier... I can wait to see the drama n comparison. Some might claim m copy her. In fact, she has been using art images in her music for ages; she just do it with taste by not telling people directly her music or videos Or shows are inspired by modern art.

I would be very disappointed if m is only one the the 40 artists unless m is the main dish with 39 side orders!! Do u guys think m would take a 2 days out of her touring schedule and promote the project on her intagram if she is only one of the 40 artists?

Look at the madonna vs gaga feud-- I believed m has the upper hand. At the end of the day, m is mentioned n compared constantly in the news with the then so-called most relevant singer at the time. The fact that she was mentioned constantly allowed her to stay relevant. And gaga? She is forever branded as a tribute act..look at her now, the only thing people can remember is her being a copy cat of madonna, everyone in the us, including the mainstream media..I think this feud actually hurt gaga and benefited madonna.

I don't understand fans complain. It is something I have been waiting for from madonna, fun, tuneful pop song. To be honestly, I am not into the complicated stuff when it comes to music. Only thing I want more from the album-- it has a huge hit...if there was a huge hit that We could hear from the radio, I believe fans would have a different response / opiniom about it.

Madonna was Not a b**** to lee. I heard according to some local Asian newspapers, lee's assistant clarified the rumor and said that m actually had a great chat with lee. She told the director she loved his movie. The director's assistant even said the newspaper" must have mistaken someone for m." Lol

I have never seen a so-called president displaying such incompetence ! Please, a statement from the The white house can cause war! U don't have a president' s press secretary claiming the president declaring a war n later when the situation is to their disadvantage, the president comes out to deny the statement. Only a country like Malawi, without law n structure, could do that .. ..only that proves there is something seriously wrong with their political system.
