China is sending doctors to Italy and Europe to help them combat Covid-19 you moron . ' The Chinese Virus ' .What an arsehole .

You know, I don’t normally wish ill on people.  In Trump’s case though...

Thailand’s been wonderful, as ever, but I’m really itching to get home now with all that’s going on.

The thing is that the numbers reported by USA are not real at all as many people aren't being tested. Am I right?

Is the UK testing? Johnson's decision makes me wonder if they're testing at all.

They’re only currently testing people who’ve been admitted to hospital apparently (and not swabbing health workers).  Though think there’s talk of scaling up testing as people obviously aren’t happy.

  3. I find it very telling of the fractured, selfish and myopic times we’re living in, led by total fuckwits, that there’s no co-ordinated and strategic interanational response that trickles down to agreed local tactical executions.

I mean, all this talk of being on a war footing, at war with the virus blah de fucking blah, maybe treat it like one of those actual wars that they all so enjoy.

    Absolute cunting fuckery *sigh*.

Boris Johnson is being humiliated across the board on the British press and was forced to recant about the actual state of the emergency

And being, indirectly, read to filth by the WHO.  I really don’t understand the herd immunity approach, considering how little is known about the virus.

It does worry me, particularly having a partner with diabetes, that essentially they’re intending on the vast majority of people to become infected and HOOE the nation will become immune.  And the increasingly depleted health service is supposed to manage, how? 🤷🏽‍♂️

The madness of supply hoarding from  supermarkets / stores have not happened here in Thailand yet but we are  running out of face masks . Even in hospitals where they are most needed .

I have one week left of my holiday, I ended up buying a handful of the proper face masks and hand sanitiser on your advice, tbh I’m now likely saving these for my return to London and the daily tube commute where it seems like they’ll be most useful.

Someone should explain to the nutter that even if it's a group of islands the UK is still part of the European continent  Opting out of the EU is an entirely different thing. Anyway, may the toxic and ridiculous US/UK bromance continue indefinitely and watch US governments draw Britain to the pits with them

And that goes for healthcare, illegal military aggressions so on and so forth

This worries me, it’s indicative of how deep in the US’ pocket we’ll inevitably become post Brexit, from chlorinated chicken and hormones in meat* to, you know, selling off the NHS.

*sorry those from the US, I’m sure the chlorine and hormones are really nice.

I swear, these are some of the most British things I’ve ever seen 😂. Thankfully I’m currently sunning myself on a beach in Thailand for three weeks instead of being in London.

Before I left a few colleagues questioned if I was worried about going to Thailand, surprised I wasn’t thinking of cancelling, not sure if they’d go etc. blah blah blah.

No, cancelling didn’t cross my mind, hun...:queenbitch:

I keep discovering Madame X's .. Madonna is probably aware of this, as an art lover

Madame X or Portrait of Madame X is the title of a portrait painting by John Singer Sargent of a young socialite, Virginie Amélie Avegno Gautreau, wife of the French banker Pierre Gautreau. Madame X was painted not as a commission, but at the request of Sargent. It is a study in opposition. Sargent shows a woman posing in a black satin dress with jeweled straps, a dress that reveals and hides at the same time. The portrait is characterized by the pale flesh tone of the subject contrasted against a dark colored dress and background.

The scandal resulting from the painting's controversial reception at the Paris Salon of 1884 amounted to a temporary set-back to Sargent while in France, though it may have helped him later establish a successful career in Britain and America.

This is the only time the painter got some controversy.

Yes, in the VIP book Madame X has two aliases, one being Madame Virginia Gautreau and the other being Lola Montez

We are screening all international airports . Are you arriving via Bangkok ? If so you will be screened there first . I don't think it will be sorted in 3 weeks to be honest .

WHO just declared it a global emergency so it probably be months before they sort everything out . Do bring face mask and hand santitiser .

Nope, I’m arriving at Krabi from a connection in Doha and then straight on a long tail to Koh Jum.  I’ve been going to the island for at least ten years, it’s really quiet and tends to be mostly German, Russian and Scandinavian and a rare Brit I tend see.

Yep, I watched the whole of the WHO press conference last night, do you think I really need a mask?

Thailand is second on the list of countries with confirmed cases . Unlike Taiwan , UK and even Hong Kong our government is too greedy to cancel any flight from Wuhan or cities in China

confirmed cases . Now 16 airlines around the world have canceled their flights to China .

    https://www.businessinsider.com/airlines-canceling-changing-flights-to-china-amid-coronavirus-fears-2020-1

They are saying they could contain it and the Health minister is saying that they are doing a great job as they keep finding people who have contracted the virus ! He is also saying that we couldn't stop people from Wuhan from traveling around Thailand as it was their right . I mean WTF .

Would be much appreciated if Thailand could get it sorted before my three week jaunt there at the end of February.  Krabi airport is screening people, right?

  12. I NEED to see this show again, three times wasn't enough. I'm building an altar from my limited edition albums and Hard Candy sweets and praying to the lil' baby Jesus that it's true. If that doesn't work, I'm going to chant "Hydrangea" to invoke the spirit of Demonna. If anyone's looking for me, I'll be the one speaking in tongues "...juxtapose, ironic, paradox, illusion...".

  13. Oops. Didn't quite mean to cause the brouhaha.

Anyhoo, the show was amazing as ever, her hair was layed to perfection and I was sat next to a lovely pregnant lady who's due to drop in two weeks, I was half expecting wet feet by True Blue. Tonight I shall mourn the end of my European mini tour by flicking through Encyclopaedia Madonnica by candlelight.
