  1. I agree with everything you have to say except this. I just can't imagine her ever retiring or stopping as long as she's fit and healthy. She'll probably still be around recording new music and touring into her 70s and beyond.

Agreed....she herself said she plans to be like Martha Graham and doing contractions on stage in her 90s.....Madonna is a workoholic...she isn't gonna go grow some tomato garden....she still has far too much drive, inspiration and purpose. Unless she is taken from the earth too soon, she will be around for decades to come.

  2. Ok so I don't wanna bring up the tired "2014 or 2015 release" discussion again, but if she is really done with the album, couldn't a late Nov release still be possible?

People are saying shooting the video for the first single as well as doing the photoshoot for the cover would take too long now for the album to be released this year, but then again, look at Adele and Rihanna, their albums have been announced for this fall but there's still NOTHING. Their fans are still as much in the dark as we are (if not even more, considering M at least keeps us updated with her postings). Is it really that unlikely for the album to come out this fall?

It depends on what stage she just completed. Did she complete recording where the album goes into mastering/post-production, or did she complete overseeing the final mastering? I think she just completed her end as the recording artist and it will now go into the hands of the producers and engineers to finalize the work.

  3. They're not doing it because of the monetary value. It's some kind of weird fan "superiority" thing. Don't get me started on this. It's rife in the Madonna fan community. I've not really seen it with other artist fan bases.

That's what I thought.....a stupid elitist thing. I guess they sit around and jerk off to the fact that they have material other fans do not have. It isn't like their families or friends are impressed, they probably just think they are insane. Imagine paying thousands of dollars for some crap demo like "Applause"? Idiots. We all love the woman, so why not share rarities with others who celebrate and enjoy the same passion? Most of us run to the forum to share news bits we get....these people only have a small circle of people who will care and relate.

  4. My question about collectors and their unreleased material...what is the value of what they have outside of the Madonna community? It isn't like they can sell demos and unreleased tracks to record companies to release and profit from....there would be tremendous lawsuits. Honestly, why not just leak what you have, no one outside of the M fandom really cares about photo outtakes and un-used music...it is such an elitist mentality....sorta annoying. But hey, if it makes them feel special by having things Madonna thew away, then by all means...feel special ;)

  5. That's a Secret Society that no one in MadonnaNation (at least publicly that they'd admit to) has managed to break into. Although I do have my suspicions about some people here....!!

Well goddamn, WHO does one have to sleep with to get into this secret society?

I have always imagined/fantasized about one of these collectors either becoming disinterested or upset with Madonna and/or fellow collectors and just leaking EVERYTHING they have just to deplete the value.

  6. Yeah, Jorge was used as a complete scapegoat. Those other collectors, seeing that Jorge was leaking so much stuff and affecting the value of their STOLEN material, reported him to the authorities - bam, no more leaks.

Does this happen with other artists? I just can't fathom that this occurs during new production. I get older demos finding their ways into collectors hands, but the IN-THE-WORKS material....where is the security? And are the collectors just uber-rich and well-connected fans, or is there some sort of market outside of the Madonna fandom for this stuff?

  7. How come these so called collectors, who are presumably HUGE Madonna fans, always describe her brand new material like they're reading aloud a burger king menu or something?

Where's the excitement? where's the rich detail? Where's the love?

    Weirdos.

Thank you! They are hearing new Madonna material in-the-making yet they describe what they hear as if is just another day at the office and have the nerve to critique and give their personal opinions on it. You are at an advantage to be on the inside, show some appreciation of it! And if you are going to share tidbits with the rest of us hungry fans, just give facts, save your criticism for when the final product is out and we can all judge for ourselves.

  8. It's obvs someone from Madonnas team. Fyi, Jorge never leaked GMAYL. If you read the police reports on the news sites, it states the leakers IP didn't trace to Jorge, but to someone else. They never stated who it was.

Since we always claim Guy O as being all about money money money, it's obvs not him.

I think it's someone that works close to her, whether it's a hair dresser or someone working in the studio, like an engineer.

It's really f-ed up and certainly illegal. It is amazing that there is this whole underground collectors unit out there that operates just below our feet. Once in a while we get some bits and pieces of their treasures, but for the most part, we are in the dark. I have heard tales of tons of pro-footage (screen cameras) from every tour in their possession. I would image a tour tech provided that to them and made a killing doing so.

  9. These demos won't be leaking. The collectors don't want a repeat of what happened in 2011, they still want to make their money

Collectors, traders, and fansites have always recieved work-in-progress tracks while M has been making her records. This is nothing new. They've been reporting song descriptions since COAD

But how? Obviously someone on the inside is selling them to them.....how does this happen without Madonna or her management's knowledge? Who is selling them to them....Guy O? Rocco? The cleaning staff? Madonna herself?

  10. For some reason all this reminds me of American Life. :wow:

If this is true, expect some demos to leak. I really hope not.

I agree....if these demos are actually out there, it is only a matter of time before they hit the web.

How do collectors get these things anyhow? Who is in Madonna's circle that has the access and ability to sell her current working-demos to collectors? Is it more hackers tapping into the harddrives?
