  1. I would love to see MDNA in a cinema.

We all would....but how well have the IMAX and pop concerts (in theaters) done boxoffice wise? Wasn't the U2 360 IMAX a major flop despite its massive success as an actual tour? People are not interested to pay IMAX, or even standard cinema prices for something they can watch at home.....OR seen live when the show was on the road.

  2. LOLOL.... Joan is all like..."WTF, I thought this girl grew outta this shit..."

Love it, beautiful moment. I am sure Joan really does respect her stepdaughter's longevity in the business and her resilliance against the ongoing harsh criticism she endures.

  3. oh you know what she meant, who cares.

Of course I know what she meant....hence the LOL at the end of the statement. Geesh, some people are so quick to take offense to everything....lol.

Plus, to her, considering rehearsals and all, it probably feels more like a decade on the road at this point.

  4. I think everyone is getting your point, maybe just not agreeing with your stance?

My sister and I both donated to raising malawi after opening night of the CT from watching the gasp inducing LTT performance.

Maybe people were moved to make a donation after the show??

I don't think its tacky ...unless the performance has been over-analyzed by someone in the first place.

I hear ya....that's what I forum is, right....a forum to express different points of view. I guess I am just protective of this part of the show as it is my favorite and I just feel the plea for cash interrupts the flow of the story from LAV into LS..... that's all :)

And if anyone is moved to donate after the show due to her asking for money, than even better....perhaps that is her point, to inspire a conversation about it after the show, making it memorable where people talk about it and then feel compelled to donate.

  5. so true. Why should she tell to the public, that she donated the condert incomes from one show ? If you donate, you dont talk about the money. Thats the rule. People trying to find in every step she does negativitiy, which is really silly recently

You guys are completely missing my point...I AGREE that she should say NOTHING at all about her charitable contributions to the cause...the fact it, she IS saying something publicly about it by asking people to throw money at her during LS. There have already been a few snide comments from attendees who felt it was tasteless and a null effort.

The point is, say nothing and donate, or if you are going to say something, esp by asking your audience to throw crumpled bills at you while you roll around the stage, have a donation booth set up or let people know that their $$$ spent for the show will go to the cause.....a person of her stature both in celebrity and financially CAN make an impact on this issue.....some loose change crumpled in her hand as a prop is irrelevant in comparison.

  6. how do you know she hasn't already made a private donation for the hurricane victims?

it's not madonna's style to put out a press release saying she has donated money

    unlike some other artists

Agreed....I thought of that, but if she's going to say anything at all, I just personally feel saying "a proceed of tonight's show profit will be donated to the victim of Hurricane Sandy"...instead of asking for crumbled bills like some truck stop stripper.....plus it just ebbs the flow of the segway from LAV into LS....that's all!

  7. [media=]

    Donations for hurrycane sandy

I have mixed feelings on her asking for $ for HS victims...I know she is half-playing, but it's kinda tacky. If she wanted to do something for the victims, give all or a portion of the proceeds of a show to the Red Cross, or make a personal donation for her mass fortune...don't ask fans to throw loose change at you while you straddle the stage in your bra and panties lamenting over how your ex took you to the cleaner's in your divorce.

  8. I love the fact that Madonna fans boo her in her own shows

    Fabulous

Right....it's so disrespectful. If you don't like her political views, just don't cheer or appluad.....booing is immature. It is HER show and she has every right to express her view on the political sphere.

The booing BEFORE she even takes the stage is what I find disturbing....it happened is many cities across the US as people grow impatient waiting for her.

  9. If people are not aware by now that Madonna is incredibly outspoken about her political views and are offended that she freely and openly expresses them during her shows....and they are so offended by this that they leave the show early....they only have themselves to blame. It is the same as if they were offended because she gyrates and uses foul language on-stage. This is all nothing new.....it's Madonna folks, she has been doing this shit for YEARS....

  10. "American Life Reprise" might be stretching it a bit, no? ;P

I got really excited when I heard she'd done this, but eh - it ended up not being much at all.

I think American Life, minus the rap, could work really well here, instead of Human Nature, in fact. I don't think she'll go that far, but I'd dig it.

Not really.....on RIT when she sang these same lines after PDP, it was labled the AL reprise. Reprises are not always very long.....just a revisit to a few lines, so it's fitting.
