It looks fake but the one thing that worries me is I get a Handmaidens Tale vibe from it and Mensch said thats what his source told him. Although theres a second picture of her holding her crouch I just saw so i think its 100% fake.

Mensch (I know him outside of here by his real name lol) said this cover is fake.

A couple years ago the entire music industry moved to Friday releases. All new songs/albums are released Friday at 12am.   Some are released Thursday but iTunes and Spotify don't update until Friday.   Her releasing on Tuesday would mean it would 100% not chart. At least in the US/UK.

Ah, okay. I did notice that things had changed, but wasn't following close enough to really know the details. Thank you for clarifying! 🙂

Single release on the 8th doesn't make sense. It's in the middle of a tracking  week.  Friday would be better.

This seems like the worst kept secret to us but I'm surprised not one news outlet has picked up on her performing. I'm happy they can keep something a secret though.

I am not sure how things are today with digital formats, but back when everything was still physical, Mondays were new-release days for the UK, Tuesdays for the US.

  4. The production on this album is ace. Though I favor certain elements of certain demos, I still feel that the final tracks are an improvement on their demo predecessors. This album has to be cranked up to be fully appreciated, the mutli-layered production and slick beats drive it beautifully. This is most certainly one of her best releases of her career. Now, it is time to release it officially...perfect timing, eh, with the Grammys and all.....

  5. I am SO happy with this tracklisting! I think Best Night, Holy Water, SEX....they are all super catchy, fresh and fun whereas I found tracks like Revolution, Freedom, etc to be familiar/over-treaded waters. These chosen tracks (going by the demos) will be a very cohesive sound/theme/album.

PS: PLEASE do not remove or tone down those amazing synths in Holy Water during final production please!

  6. GT is her best ballad since the epic Frozen. It is an absolute Madonna classic from start to finish. This song should totally be promoted as a single, esp in the US. It has tons of potential for the Adult Contemp market, a wise market to try for as it is possible the general Top 40 may ignore the edgier/dancier tracks (hopefully not as everything is so very strong, but given ageism and her US radio play this past decade).

  7. I have been meaning to come to the board for a few weeks now....I have been traveling and super busy with the holidays and all...but every single demo is AMAZING! I was in love with the original 13, and then batch 2 comes along and I am in pure heaven. I literally have been playing everything on a loop daily. I can't get enough!

From batch 2, my top faves are: Holy Water (those SYNTHS are everything), Best Night (so erotic), SEX (super catchy and fun, and Inside Out (amazing love song, the lyrics are tremendous). The only ones on set 2 that I am not feeling so much are Freedom (its good, just in need of some major re-structuring) and Tragic Girl (amazing guitar intro and I love the versus, but the melody goes off for me in the chorus). Overall, even in demo form, this is absolutely M's strongest most inspired music work since COADF.

  8. I thought we were allowed to talk about the leaks? We have a thread about inside out they leaked yesterday. Anyways, forgive me for talking about it.

Do we know who leaked it? We should be reporting it to Guy O. I never expected all these songs to leak before the album. These people se to have a vendetta out for M. Ouch.

....this is bad....is ignoring it on a fan forum really gonna do much?....we should stay quiet on social media where it risks being picked up by the mainstream media....still, its kinda like trying to put the flood water back behind the levy wall after its been broken.....

  9. Well I 100% disagree with you on this.

For me WOAM is almost perfect as it is. Needs to be polished here and there but nothing more.

Love her voice, love the lyrics, love the climax of the song...

I feel you, that's the joy of fan-hood, some love what some do not, vica versa....I just find it a bit weak, esp production wise. For a demo, its good, but I feel it needs a lot of work before being album ready.

  10. I don't get the love for "Wash All Over Me" :manson: sounds dated and half baked at best.

I think the demo I've listened to the least is "Illuminati", but it's the one that has played most in my head. So I say KEEP it.

I agree....Wash has been always been a weak leak, unless it drastically changes (a la Beat Goes on demo vs album version) then I say it gets the boot. Wash also has some of the poorest vocals....that chorus "whooooo am IIIII".....as someone mentioned, her vocals on these range from fantastic to thin and whiny, but again, these ARE demos, the point is to get the song down and in working form, nothing is in it's final form. For a set of demos though, lyrically, melodically, structurally, most of these are all pretty badass..
