When was the last time she's looked this good??? And with Girl Gone Wild, bitch looked AMAZING.
Ugh. The gifs are fantastic - she's made for gifs - no one has more camera swagger than her.

Seeing Girl Gone Wild in broad daylight seems like the real crime here...

I'm just glad she managed to get her favorite thrusting move in there.

Well, I finally listened to the W.E. soundtrack two days ago... and it's been on a loop since. It's absolutely amazing - although it makes Masterpiece pale in comparison. I can see why Madge's artistic instincts told her to stay away from that. Of course, the song is lovely and I'm glad it's on MDNA. It would've been awesome if Abel had been able to provide arrangements for it, though. He's one hell of a composer and clearly knows how to bring tension in the middle of blissful beauty - something that Masterpiece lacks (tension).

Never thought I'd like Candy Shop, but here I am... totally loving this version. There's a studio fanmade version that's quite good, if not exactly the same. But it will be good enough until this comes out on the live cd

Interesting to hear that some don't listen to her live albums. I rarely hear She's Not Me, Beat Goes On, Devil..., Mother and Father, etc. in the original form anymore.
As for this CD, i bet she'll include the Nobody Knows Me interlude and Like A Virgin.

take it down a semitone... and it would be perfect for her (live). in fact, if i understand correctly, that's what she says at the end ("it's too high").
I think she's gonna start doing it soon!!! let's pray that changes it up for the Americas! (Sorry, Europe)

I haven't seen this part of the show (or most of it) so I can't tell... But I'm confused by some of these comments so I'd like clarifications:
1) Like in I Love New York, are there are least dancers doing a routine at some point?
2) Is the backdrop and/or lighting amazing?
3) This one's impossible to answer (for most of us), but what are the chances the video will be somehow incorporated into the routine? I have seen some stills for this moment so I know that the video doesn't seem to be inspired by the live performance at all.

I would have just DIED if I had seen her out and about like this. God, some people are just too lucky.

Sure
But i wonder how much she paid for Jump , Give it 2 me and miles away lol
Not that she would continue dumping money into this CD if it wasn't paying off, BUT - she's still chasing for a hit this time around. By the time Jump or Give it 2 me came along, the big hit had already passed and that plus the tour meant it didn't matter how the album did any longer. It would continue to sell. See what I'm saying? It can't be that hard to convince the ultimate artist/businesswoman that she needs to spend some dough this third time around still because the song has potential and she can still "save" (and I say that reluctantly for I don't believe so) this project.
My two cents.

I want South Africa to get some l-u-v too! I think it's going to happen - again, not sure what the "album case" will be - I can't believe she'll still be touring with the standard version of MDNA a year and a half in...

Seeing the Milano crowd sing their hearts out to the chorus (even at the end, when she doesn't even sing "like a girl gone wild, a good girl...") made me so happy. That's what it should be like everywhere!

Reminds me of Beyonce's Party video... But since no one's watched that beyond California gays, I guess it's safe to say it's gonna look fresh!
Very excited for this. She looks awesome. And if it leads to a Gang Bang / Love Spent trilogy... I could die.
-
And she did a post with this picture and named it "inspiration"
Into this, particularly if the color palette has this bright vintage quality to it.

I so wanna be there

loved your review, XXL, thank you!

Sorry, had to dig this one up.
I was thinking, If I were to rank M's albums from the top of my head, the top 5 would look something like this:
-Erotica
-Ray of Light
-MDNA
-Music
-Confessions
However, after listening to LAP this morning, I thought that if I had ranked each track from each album, then tally up the scores to create an accurate and overall percentage ranking for each album, LAP (which is solid album) could possibly move up to the top, along with other albums.
So I did this, I listened to each album today, and gave each song a rating out 10. Then added the songs together for each album, then divided that number by the total possible points
This is what I got:
(Albums that were tied were decided by how many times the albums been played on iTunes)
I was shocked. Erotica, which was always my favorite album, moved down to #5. And LAP didn't even move at all, in fact, it moved down! It seems as though the 80's albums get no love from, which is not true! Oh well.
I think this goes to show just how much of what you think is a great album actually lives in your head and your memories... And how it's almost impossible to always *just* be talking about the songs when talking about the albums. For example, Music has quite a few of my favorite songs from Madge ever, but I simply don't think of it when i think of my favorite albums.

I still go back to this iconic performance in my head every now and again. Very vanilla but hella fun.
-
oohhh that's good to know. Simple can be good. Die Another Day is fantastic, first time I've seen people not liking it has been here in this forum!
Give it 2 me was just okay... And i. the context of a non era, made sense. This time the visuals and iconography is too on poimt to kill it with a generic video. But she's got it under control, I know it!
edit: oops, this is what happens when you look at stuff on your phone... Realize now you meant DAD for the TOUR, not the actual video.

REVIEWS! REVIEWS!!!! I had a friend on FB say he attended and it's his best concert ever.

I saw Give Me All Your Luvin' was played in the intro to Dancing with the Stars in Argentina - the show's shit but that's good!!

Maybe she performs them on the 2nd leg of the tour...

I usually don't get hung up (hehe) on sales and rankings etc, but I had to click on this. And just reading it made me so excited. If she adds an Asian/Australian leg, she could be number one. Come on, Queen of Life! You can do this!
