  1. Just as well she cancelled the Aussie tour.

Considering how sick and exhausted she was for the South American leg, Aus could have been a disaster waiting to happen.

After a 20 year wait, late starts, half shows and dummy spits just wouldn't be tolerated by our media here and they would have torn her to shreds.

When she finally gets here she can't be any less than on top of her game.

  2. She could have done a nice medley of her 80's hit's in this section or a sing along like S&S tour.

GMAYL shouuld have definately been longer, I scratch my head a fair bit over the length of this particular song. In all the videos I have seen it seems to get a bigger reaction than EY but I suppose after that dance breakdown she is pretty stuffed.

Does anyone think that this may have possibly been the encore when they were first putting the tour together but the idea got scrapped and they just threw it in like they did to brighten the show up after Transgession?

  3. I'm not a casual fan, I'm hardcore just like you guys, i should still be aloud to have an opinion. I know my shit when it comes to M and I have been with her through thick and thin for 25 years. If I don't like something I think I've earnt the right to say it and I very rarely ever say anything negative about her. I was just a little stunned by how flat the arena was based on that video of Human Nature. I enjoyed the DWT choro and staging, just not the vocals and I loved the sticky and Sweet version but once again not the vocals and I do enjoy the striptease in the MDNA version but once again I just don't think it comes across well live. Weird because it's no stretch for her, maybe it's just pitched too low. I liked the vocoder bit during S&S, was a nice little change.

    Just my opinion

  4. I like that she pushed the boundaries with this tour, especially the guns and the violence, it gave her a bit of an edge and is done spectacularly well on this tour.

My fandom has never waned but seeing her become a badass again after the Ritchie years, the Kaballah, the children's books and the disco era has really increased my enjoyment in her work. She was starting to become a bit lightweight, still 100 times better than Kylie but she was started to veer towards becoming that sort of safe pop star.

Sticky and Sweet felt a little like she was trying to reclaim her former self with the swearing, the attitude and the overt sexuality again. Yet MDNA feels more organic, more closer to who she really is, a rebel at heart and a trailblazer. I loved the nipple slip, the controversy in Russia etc. It's like Blond Ambition for 2012. She has truly blown all of them out of the water and must feel quite secure in her position in the pop world now.

I think finally having so much competition after all these years, really lit a fire under her ass and she became Madonna again.

  5. I don't understand these reviewers saying the Superbowl performance was 'panned'. It's been mentioned in at least half a dozen reviews so far this tour.

I've not read a single bad review of her performance nor heard a single criticism from any average joe who watched it.

So where is this coming from? It was the pinnacle of her bloody career.

  6. Ketchup I'm sorry buddy, you have no idea what you are on about and you don't even realise that the members of this forum are running rings around you and your just making yourself look stupid.

I'm not usually negative or confrontational but you're annoying me, I don't want to log into my favourite Madonna forum and read you talking about Gaga EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY and talking about Madonna like you know what your on about because you just don't.

Go and talk about her in the Gorgon thread.

  7. I can't believe people are prepared to hand in their fan card over this. Ridiculous!

I'm sure we have all been through much worse as M fans and are still here supporting her, so to give up on her over this is pretty silly. You obviously are not a true fan and are reading way too much into this.

I think this moment was inevitable and I think it's a good idea, I too am sick of the warring and the trolling of everything Madonna related on the internet. Those little cunts have bastardised Madonna's legacy so if this actually takes place and casues 1/10th of the hate to stop, then it's a good thing. I think fans of both artists need to see the two of these women together, unified and to show the media and the world that they can both cohabit the music scene together. It has nothing to do with desperation on either part and maybe is a little stuntish but it's a good thing, I can't wait personally.
