They say that it's a fusion between pop. african music and portuguese music. Seriously, it must ee sooo awsome.

Also says that they have a new art director and that Mert and marcus nor klein are confirmed. A new team was hired for the visual concept of the album.
Only thing confirmed on her agenda is the oscar party.
New tour being planned.

Guys, maybe the album is "portuguese/Cape Verde" in sound only, not lyrics.
It all sounds very ROL with the morroccan style being used to make the songs with a very special touch. Both her and William were very clever using it. Maybe that's what they mean by "never heard before by her".
Also, with a Carioca Funk, we'll dance our asses off.
Only thing that bothers me: If the insider have all these info, how many people must have it as well?

The only thing shared by M regarding new music, intentionally or not, was that whiteboard with what looked like were names of songs. An evident thing from those song titles were the influences from African, Portuguese, Brazilian and Latin sounds. This all points to a complete reinvention of M's sound, taking the next album clearly in the direction of music infused by sounds from across the globe, and not just regular pop, R&B, house, etc. If that's not something you all are excited about, I'm not sure what would really please you.
To make such an album of course she needs to collaborate with people from those countries, such as Anitta, Maluma, Dino de Santiago, etc. This is not just to be trendy, but to acknowledge the origins of those sounds.
For the first time in a long time, I can see that M has had the time to put together a clear plan for her new music, a musical project designed with the clear intention of completely reinventing her sound once again. We should all be happy for that.

But guys, you're all overeacting. Madonna is in charge. Always was. She is being true to the Portuguse theme. A mix of Africa, Portugal, Brasil and South America.
Just chill. The album is Madonna's. Not Anitta's!

I am so, so afraid. I live in Rio de Janeiro, am an actor and writer and he is about to take down the Ministry of Culture. I'm also gay and there has been lot's of us already being beaten on the streets.
I don't want to leave my house. I'm scared, so scared. Thinking of going to Urugay, Portugal or France. My mom and I, we cannot stay here. This really might be the end of an era of people feeling proud of who they are.

So many articles about Madonna everywhere here in Brazil. In all of them, they always say the same thing:
"The Pop Icon is releasing her next album still in 2018 and a big tour is coming in 2019".
Maracana Stadium is mentioned in two of them. I just can't wait!!!!!
