  1. Future Lovers and Candy Shop weren't hits either :dazed:

Yes, I know but I was commending on GGW as an opener ;-) but in general I tend to agree with the people saying this show is not a crowd pleaser, it's more for the hardcore fans, and I do not really think Future Lovers and Candy Shop are songs that the general public will go crazy about

  2. Now, the audience... Such a fucking dreadful mess. When I started jumping during Turn Up The Radio, people around me seemed irritated and stared at me like I was crazy. What the fuck...

Ha, ha, there were all kinds of people in the crowed, some dancing, some singing, some kissing and making out and some looking incredible bored, saw a few older people looking pissed and heading for the door :rotfl:

Who can blame her? I'd be procrastinating from that crowd like it was my last breath -- please Guy just 1 more hour :rotfl:

Lol, not sure it works if you want people to show energy to your music :rotfl:

also GGW performance is a bit long and mechanical..maybe she should've tried to wake them up by shouting something like "HELLO SWEDEN!!"?

GGW is a perfect opener and a great song, might be a problem that a lot of people did not know it though, as it was not really a hit...

  3. Apparently this was just before the show!! is it true?? I hope not!!!

judging by the amount of people sitting on the tribunes I would guess half an hour before as Msig said is more or less right.

  4. It was a rhetorical question because clearly they are not and never were of relevance outside of Denmark. They're a novelty act

Well, the B.G hit might be a novelty song, but in general I do not agree, but then I really think all music is relevant... I do not like German Schlager music, but it's still relevant internationally, because other people enjoy it...

and the only Danish artist/band I've heard of. I don't understand why that is, surely Denmark has some good music??

Well, it's pretty much harder for artists from small countries to get their music heard WW, not many non UK or US acts have huge international carers, and that has nothing do with quality...
  5. That really sucks!

Thank you, well at least I was there, and I did try to enjoy myself, sing and dance  not that I always succeed  but still I do not regret going :confessions:

I have to say that it did look like a lot of people left early, and it took a really long time before the stadium started looking more or less full... my guess is that 40 000 is more or less the amount of people who were there at most...

  6. Typical my bad luck, going to a Madonna concert and ending up with a food poisoning, I was so freaking sick that I could hardly stand on my feet :dramatic: not the way I was expecting to spend my time there :drama: The show was great though :confessions:

  7. Yes and what about Aqua? Are they not relevant?

Lol, guess that depends on where you are, problem with Aqua is that can not be bothered to promote their music :chuckle: they think a few concerts are enough. Enoyed their last album, but compared to them Madonna got very good reviews by the Danish critics :chuckle:
In reality, this show probably is boring to non fans. It contains very few well known songs. I have not heard one real fan on this board say this show sucks. Not one. When Madonna is dead this show will be remembered as one of her best. The hit heavy Reinvention won't be thought about.
Judging by what I have seen so far the show is amazing, and I can not wait to see it later today :confessions:
  8. So the biggest pop star alive goes to Denmark and this what they have to say about it? Anyway, i don't remember any relevant coming from Denmark in the last 100 years!

If Madonna has to avoid every country where the critics have written crap about her I wonder what countries are left to visit?? and what has bad critics got to do with anything relevant coming from the country? some people really are drama queens... :chuckle: :chuckle:

  9. anything a woman does over 50, hell 40, seems "desperate" to people...when males do it at that age they r praised

so fuck u danish press, lol

Lol, goes for 99% of the critics and press in the world, so filled with crape, ageism and rarely worth reading

  10. I'm not sure, but people seem to get away with small digital cameras. I'm absolutely not sure though, as I've personally never been to a paid arena concert... But as usual, the ticket says that one's not allowed to bring any form of recording equipment.

It was the same the last time I saw her in 2009, but as said no one really took any notice of my camera  I've been searching the net for information and my conclusion is also that you can bring a small digital camera without getting into trouble... might depend on luck though

ikr... whenever I go to a concert I try to enjoy it as much as possible, I always dance, scream and sing my ass off lol. People usually stare at me like i'm nuts for actually having fun but hey... at least i'm enjoying myself. :confessions:

Lol, it's the same with me :rotfl: but I'm there to have a great time and could not care less how other people feel about that :chuckle:

  11. Because I go to watch the performer dance and sing! There's so much going on, I want to take it all in.

Well I can understand that you feel like that, but the people I'm talking about do not really behave like that ;-)

I wonder if the guitar got broken in the crash? :roadrunner:

    I'm sure she'll have a replacement
  12. I may agree that the crowd was cold....but no offence...the whole world knows that north europe crowd sucks big time.

Lol, I always wonder why people pay such heigh prices to go to concerts when they do not let go and enjoy themselves :chuckle:

  13. Expressen reviewed her concert in Copenhagen, the "journalist" giving it 2/5. The review itself was a fucking joke and i didn't even finish reading.

The reviews in the Danish papers were no better, the know it all guy in BT was putting the set-list up and naming Revolver as a MDNA song :chuckle: guess he was not a fan, and quite often that's the problem with critics, they do not really like the music they are paid to review

If the show is a flop, I guess there'll be a chance of seeing Madonna this time, last time in Copenhagen (2009) I could hardly see here :chuckle:
