  1. I can only pick one?! Ok. I voted for Paradise, but I love these as well:

    # What It Feels Like for a Girl (Remix) [Drowned World Tour]

    # The Beast Within '04 [Re-Invention Tour]

    # Bedtime Story (Orbital Remix) [Re-Invention Tour]

    # Sorry (Remix) aka. "Don't Talk, Don't Speak" [Confessions Tour]

    # Die Another Day [sticky & Sweet Tour]

    # Get Stupid [sticky & Sweet Tour]

    # Nobody Knows Me [MDNA Tour]

My least favorite are Here Comes The Rain Again and Confessions.

  2. I'm expecting the same as the last two releases: 15 or 30 minutes behind-the-scenes extra, audio CD, and the cover will be a picture of the video screens taken by Guy. Even though those were released by Warner, I don't see any reason this DVD would be any different...... unfortunately. But hey, I could be wrong. Keeping my expectations low guarantees happiness if they are exceeded. :)

  3. Oh and my one complaint that has nothing to do with Madonna. Why is it SOOOOO hard for people to stay in their damn seats for 2 hours to watch a whole show! I was the first seat next to an aisle and constant people walking back and forth, and even in our row having to move out of the way as people went in and out and out and in.

STAY AT YOUR DAMN SEAT AND DONT MOVE BITCHES!!!!! Why is that so hard?

I know, right? Why are people constantly getting up? Are we playing musical chairs? No one told me! LOL

  4. The show was amazing! Where should I start............ oh, Martin Solveig was great. I'm glad he was the DJ instead of Oakie. Not a fan of him. Martin played a great mix of Madonna tracks (Music, Into The Groove, Beautiful Killer) and his own stuff which he sang live. He also played some stuff that I didn't know, but the crowd did so I assume that it's played on the radio. :)

The show did start at 10:45 and the people around me were annoyed. Didn't see anyone leave until Masterpiece. I guess that was the perfect time for a beer run. I saw a mass exodus during I'm a Sinner. I guess they didn't want to miss their train or something. I didn't see anyone bitching about lack of '80s songs.

Is it just me or could the show have been louder? I was in section 200, so maybe I was too far from the speakers. I could have dealt with a little pumping of the volume.

I had only seen a few YouTube clips here and there. Didn't want to see too much to spoil the show. I never saw the intro before, so I was in awe! The old folks in front of me said, "Are we at church?" LOL

GGW was a great intro. The area went ape shit! I love that fucking stage! The cubes are awesome! I really don't like Revolver, but it fit the theme. I would love to see Gang Bang professionally shot "Jonas Akerlund" style. PDP was really random, but I'm not complaining. I've heard fans say this before and having witnessed it myself, I agree: Hung Up really doesn't work. The mix is really flat and uneventful. I didn't see Madonna do the slack line, which is good for her safety, yet without that, there was nothing really to see. IDGA was good, but I totally didn't hear any electric guitar..........

I really didn't like the Best Friend video. It was just close ups of tombstones.............. but the dancers were impressive. I'm under the impression that they have no joints cause they were bending themselves like pretzels. Not sure if I liked the bone-breaking sound effects. LOL

I love Express Yourself and GMAYL! They were really well done. TUTR was good, but again, can't really hear the electric guitar at all. OYH was my favorite of the whole show. Loved the way the beat started slow and grew bigger and bigger. Choreography was fantastic and Rocco was adorable. The speech went on too long. She started to repeat herself toward the end, but everything she said was good. I would have rather heard Holiday than the speech. It was my only major disappointment of the night. Masterpiece was wonderful. I've always loved the song and she sang it perfectly. All the beer run people pissed me off! LOL

I have no idea what the dancers were doing during the JML video because I couldn't stop looking at the screens! She looked amazing!

I might be in the minority about this one, but I was disappointed with Vogue. As awesome as M's costume was, I feel like she didn't do much. Just walking around and making hand gestures. Plus, the mix was the same as the Superbowl. Would have liked something new. Candy Shop was very surprising. The mix worked so well! I love the bits of Erotica thrown in. Human Nature was ok. I don't see how it fits in the show, but it was better than the S&S version. LAV was very interesting. Madonna has never done a performance like that. It was captivating, but not for everyone. It was Beer Run Time #2 for a few people. Madonna's ass was on the video screen, uninterrupted, for quite a long time. She had a slight wedgie. I was amused. Love Spent was fucking gorgeous. I feel bad for any fan who didn't get to see this at the show they went to.

The slack lines made a return for the NKM video interlude. It was ok. I think this tour has the weakest interlude she's ever had on tour!

I'm Addicted is one of my favorite MDNA tracks, so I was really looking forward to it.................... the song deserved a better performance! First of all, I really didn't understand the costume. The lack of volume didn't make me feel the beat as much as I wanted to. (Would still like to know if others felt the audio was too low.) The choreography reminded me of SFH from the Drowned World Tour. It was very Crotching Tiger/Hidden Dragon. It's cool, but not appropriate for a rave song. Oh well. I'm Sinner was good. Again, for the 3rd time, I do not hear the electric guitar. The audience got a little sleepy at this point, but LAP woke them all up. This was the biggest crowd reaction of the night. Madonna sounded great and the energy electrified the area. After the performance, a lot people started to leave, thinking the show was over. They stopped in their tracks and filled the stairwells when Celebration started. I loved the mix with GI2M. I think it worked really well. The chorography was insane! So much energy! Again, would have loved the volume to be pumped. I felt like I was listening to a boombox.

All in all, it was a fantastic show and I really want a DVD! And I don't want the gardner to do it! LOL

I'm gonna read the November 13th thread right now. :)

  5. I read people's comments before watching the video, so I expected it to be bad. I actually really like it. I don't understand why people think it doesn't flow. I think it works well since the majority of the song is still Celebration. It just had hints of Give It 2 Me thrown in.

Even though I like it, I agree that it would have been better to mix it with Holiday instead or just leave it alone.

  6. Sorry me review is late. Anyways, finally recovered from the shows over the weekend. Can sum up my whole experience in one phrase "AMAZING SHOW and HORRIBLE AUDIENCE!" This was my first experience seeing her in my home state and I loved how I didn't have to travel to see her this tour but my mom state crowed was shameful.

Night one I won Golden Triangle and she gave me a full on hand touch during Like A Prayer. Never in a million years did I think I would get to touch her! My mom was in the pit with me and loved the show. Her eyes are like a lioness. My Father and Sister saw her touch me from the seatsI gave away to them and were so happy for me. My whole family enjoyed it. It was awesome.

Night two had lower level section tix on side of teh stage. It was a different perspective as I could see more of teh staging of the show from these seats. The production is fab.

Overall I thought this was the most intense Madonna show I have seen to date, I have seen Re-Invention, Confessions, Sticky and Sweet, and now MDNA all twice. This was the most serious subject manor I have seen from her and reminded me a bit of Blonde Ambition. I thought it was her best show to date.

Along with the shitty crowd I had co-workers and clients at the show that did not appreciate it what so ever. I know things like that shouldn't bother me but I feel very connected to Madonna and when people attack her it offends me. There is one client show openly posted on facebook that it was the worst show she had every been to and her, her friends, and family all left after 3 songs. I tried warning her before and that it was going to be intense. She texted me and said it was too emotional for her (she is catholic) and that they were all leaving. It's like where have you been for the last 30 years. She is 40 and husband 50's. you would think that would have gotten the memo by now what she is all about! My boss said she enjoyed the show though and she borught her 18 year old daughter and thought it was cool because she has never seen anything like that before. My friends enjoyed night two but one of my friends was like that was awesome but would have been made if I had to pay 300+ dollars for that (we got our tix half price night two) I was like, "what else is she supposed to do?" lol. He liked it though.

Psycho people- This deserves it's own mention. Umm some bitch tried to push me aside after not getting to the triangle and being at the barrier all night to touch Madonna and I had to block her and protect some nice girl that stood next to me also. She said it was her b-day and to let her through. I told her I didn't care and she didn't wait in a spot all night like we did. She was like 6' 2" and I called her a monster and to stop pushing people around lol. On night two the guy behind me who sat the entire night asked me to sit down. He called me an asshole because I wouldn't and so I told him he needed more cardio so he could stand. lol. Why do people go to concerts when they don't want to be there, How stupid!

Also they need to get the merch together for this tour they ran out of a ton of sizes of shirts and they sold out of the sweatshirt first night and only had small even on night two. The merch people said they could have sold so many more items but didn't have them to sell. I was so pissed when night two I went out to get a drink during Paul Oakenfold with a friend and decided to get another shirt (The white one with the tour pic with Madonna in singlasses). Well he was supposed to watch it when I went to the bathroom and someone stole it when he chatted with a friend for a second and it was the last large in the building. Was so pissed. I was out 40 bucks and couldn't even get another one. i will have to order online.

Favorite Number of the show for me was Human Nature. She finally did that song justice! Hope others who went had fun as well and didn't have to deal with lame crowds, crazy people, or dissapointed concert goers. At least Madonna is steal pissing people off. Maybe that means she still has it. hehe

Thanks for posting that. I'm always fascinated on how non-fans react to Madonna shows, like friends, co-workers, stupid people who just sit down the whole show, etc. LOL

I'm sorry that the crowded sucked. Apparently, it's the worst crowd of the tour. It's really strange that so many people who are not Madonna fans want to see her live to not enjoy it at all! I will never understand that! It happens every fucking tour! LOL

  7. I just got power back. I was in the dark for 5 days. I have tickets for the November 12th show, which happens to be my birthday. The whole 5 days I was thinking to myself.......... "I hope the show isn't cancelled!" LOL

  8. I would like Madonna to do a real stripped down tour in small venues or at least just one show that would be recorded. Kind of like VH1 Storytellers or MTV Unplugged. This might bore some of you, but I would love it. It would be a show to showcase Madonna's vocals, which I think are severely underrated. I was thinking that it would be cool to choose one song per album, as well as soundtrack singles.

Here's my setlist: (doesn't have to be in this order, it was just easier to list chronologically)

    1. Physical Attraction
    2. Angel
    3. Crazy For You
    4. Live To Tell
    5. Oh Father
    6. Bad Girl
    7. This Used To Be My Playground
    8. I'll Remember
    9. Secret
    10. You'll See
    11. Drowned World/Substitute For Love
    12. I Deserve It
    13. Easy Ride
    14. Forbidden Love (COAD)
    15. Voices
    16. Love Spent

  9. Am I the only fan that doesn't think Gang Bang is all that? I love MDNA, but GB is not one of my favorite songs on it. I love it in the violent context of the tour, but as something I want to listen to at home, it doesn't do it for me. I guess it's a little too repetitive and heavy on the beats for my personal taste. I would prefer Love Spent or Beautiful Killer as a single.

You are not the only one. I feel exactly as you do. It's my least favorite, along with Superstar.

  10. Do you think that Beautiful Killer revamped (I mean, with a wonderful production, not coming from DAD) as first single would have made a big hit? I love the song so much, and Madonna's performance at the Olympia is so tv-broadcasted (minus the guns) that i felt sure it would have been!

Beautiful Killer has been my favorite MDNA track since day 1! I think it would have made a fantastic first single. Love Spent should have been the second single and I'm Addicted as the third single.

  11. I loved the Beautiful Killer performance and think it should replace Revolver. Like A Virgin, I'm A Sinner, Human Nature, and Hung Up can go too. I added Physical Attraction, Impressive Instant, Love Spent, and Everybody.

    Girl Gone Wild

    Beautiful Killer

    Gang Bang

    Papa Don't Preach

    Physical Attraction

    I Don't Give A

    Best Friend (Remix) (Video Interlude)

    Express Yourself

    Give Me All Your Luvin'

    Turn Up the Radio

    Open Your Heart

    Masterpiece

Justify My Love (Remix) (Video Interlude)

    Vogue

    Erotic Candy Shop

    Love Spent

    Je t'aime... moi non plus

Nobody Knows Me (Remix) (Video Interlude)

    I'm Addicted

    Impressive Instant

    Like a Prayer

    Celebration

    Everybody

  12. I never really cared for Love Spent.

We need Gang Bang to get released and that's it.

I'm the exact opposite. I'm one of the few who doesn't care for Gang Bang. I think Love Spent definitely deserves to be a single. I don't think a Christmas release makes sense though. Considering how the single releases have been handled thus far, it really doesn't matter what is released. :(
