I agree. Extreme Occident and Looking For Mercy should have been on the regular edition. Ciao Bella should have been on the deluxe edition. If I hadn't imported the super deluxe, I would have never heard it! Are the bonus tracks still not on digital and streaming services? What the heck?

An oddly constructed disco song about gun control was not meant to be the next Hung Up. Too brany and out there for the masses.
When it comes to Madonna, nothing beyond the 1st single gets a chance. It's been like that since Hollywood. The only exception was BIM going viral.

My only gripe / observation is that Madonna's performance is slightly at odds with the tone of the video. She's bouncing around and smiling throughout. doesnt quite connect for me. I appreciate that they are a joyous group in spite of their history - but the tone of the video is sombre, and madonna's performance isnt?!?!?
I understand seeing it that way but it works for me here. I actually thought her movements in the Crave video were more distracting.

I missed CD Maxi Singles. Imagine all the awesome remixes we could have gotten for the past 3 albums. We were really spoiled back in the day.

She's definitely in uncharted territory with that. Can you name any other artist in that situation? Most artists stick to one formula when they get older and pander to their fans. Madonna does not do that. She's in her own category.

And hopefully she is filming one for faz and didn't she say she was gonna film I rise on a beach? Or maybe the time video indicates that's been nixed and she's doing the vid for fax. Either way, I'm excited for the output and hopefully we get more cool pics and mixes.
This! Thank you for ejecting some intelligence into this thread. I agree 100%. As much as we love her, we should not be in the clouds. We should be rooted in reality. She has given us so much this era. Let's focus on that. We've been through this before. Not sure why people are surprised.
