A world music album would be refreshing and quite amazing. Only Madonna can pull off singing in Spanish, French, Sanskrit and other languages which have nothing to do with her heritage and still sound and look convincing.

That's why I didn't bother including it in the first post. I know how people feel about the cover. It's kinda the same thing with COADf.
Actually I don't mind it that much. I like the image (although there are better ones from the shoot). That whole old hooker look kinda fit at that time and was ballsy and provocative, which is good. But the tacky candy theme ruined everything. It's just sad seeing that most fan made covers look so much better.
That said, I do like the name Hard Candy. It sounds more like an album title than Give It 2 Me, if that makes sense. Just a feeling

I don't think I will bother signing up and asking her a question but if I did I would probably ask about how her view of Judaism differs to her view of Christianity. As we all know throughout her entire career she has been inspired by her Catholic upbringing and not always in a positive way. She has pushed back against many aspects of "organised" religion (specifically Catholicism) yet she seems to have a very strong belief in Judaism. (Following the Sabbath, eating kosher etc) Does she accept Judaism more readily than Christianity and if so why?
Interesting topic but you have to consider that she doesn't have 5 minutes to answer each individual question. So she will chose the ones which are easy to answer, with a yes or no or maybe write one or two sentences max.
This AMA thing seems random for her but is a good tool to promote the Secret Project, I guess. It's better than nothing.
All I care for is new music. People will probably ask her random shit as usual like "when are you coming to Brazil" and she will say "on my next tour, for sure. I love Brazil". It's so predictable

I would love to see something more artistic again, where she goes out of her comfort zone. I want something darker, more industrial, more trip hop, like a blending of Nine Inch Nails and Portishead. Of course, it would have her own spin on it and be purely Madonna but it would move past the Disco Queen persona. I also want really great lyrics, complex and insightful a la Erotica.

Does anyone know if the DVDs have grainy effects and wrong sound mixing as well? I will return the BluRay to amazon.de obviously and now I'm thinking if I should hope and wait until they fix it and sell a better version or get the DVD instead.

I am so mad right now!!! Had the BluRay in the mail today and was so excited to see it...but I can only agree with the horrible reviews on the German amazon site, this is truly a mess. Now I probably have to wait a few more weeks until I can see it in good quality...fuck!!!

So this is to purchase the physical CD as I suspected....I am looking for the MP3 purchase so that I can have the audio today...or does the CD purchase also come with the MP3s? Sorry I am asking so many questions, if only I could speak German and navigate the site myself...lol.
There is no mention of mp3s on the German link you posted. It's just the double audio CD

I believe her vocals were definitely pitched for GGW. I really like what the guy on youtube did and prefer the unpitched version, her voice sounds so sexy and improves the song IMO.

It's probably one of the best and catchiest choruses in a Madonna song in the past 10 years. Underrated and overlooked gem. So glad she performed the glorious acoustic version of it on tour.
Btw, same situation as with Love Spent - classic Madonna song with insanely catchy chorus but almost ended up as a bonus track. Also underrated but got amazing treatment on tour with an acoustic version.

It's definitely one of the best performances of the show. It just oozes sex and the way Candy Shop as a song has been reinvented is just amazing (and not forced or uninspired).
