Beyonce only needs 2 more VMAs and she will match Madonna's record. Not that it matters but it pisses me of that they throw awards at Bey like candy (I like Beyonce btw). She is nominated for her incredibly cheap and shitty 7/11 video as Best Video of the Year, bunch of Idiots! *rant over*

Hollywood would be a highlight for me, it's one of my favorite M songs. But somehow I doubt that she is performing these non-hits.
Rebel Heart is a mammoth album and it's going to be very hard to pick a selection because so many songs are good and represent the album well. On the other side there is a huge demand for hits and classics because MDNA didn't feauture that many of them (and also because she is visiting places like Australia again). I'm pretty sure she is trying to find a good balance but at the same time I don't see her picking songs like Hollywood or Love Profusion, sadly.
She may change things up a little bit this time and create various megamixes in order to squeeze as many songs into the show as possible.
I really don't know what to expect from the setlist but I demand at least one huge surprise a la Rescue Me, Bad Girl or Nothing Really Matters.

Just because Madonna is acting like a bad ass bitch nowadays, it doesn't mean that her current music is crap or juvenile. I can see why people dislike BIM or Holy Water but she has also made a smart decision by not letting Avicii produce half of the album with his EDM sound because THAT would have been a further step into artistic irrelevance.
Rebel Heart is a return to form musically and many fans and critics agree on that. It's not Madonna who has a problem but some of her fans because they expect her to to become Björk all of sudden and sell 20 million records with each release. Madonna is POP and she will always remain POP. ROL is the oddity in her discography, the song titles alone speak volumes. I'm glad she didn't bore us with faux-alternative albums for 15 years but instead gave us an eclectic mix of various music styles throughout the years. That's one of the reasons why she remained on top for so long.
Now with that said, I do agree with some parts of your post. If I could decide what she should do musically (and I can't) then I wish she would work with some obscure underground producer, hang out with bands like The Knife and James Blake and produce the most daring album in her career musically speaking. You know, reinventing herself like she used to.
But I like other singers who can fill that gap and that's why I will always be happy and grateful that Madonna has been here my whole life to satisfy my thirst for pop music.

It's interesting that many fans rank Music and AL so much apart from each other. I've always felt that it was the first time in Madonna's career that she basically released the same album twice (I know they are quite different from each other thematically but AL always felt like the rougher, braver counterpart and sound wise they are quite similar). Why is that?

Shit, I'm so sorry for you guys! We will never know the real reasons for this postponement but you have every right to be pissed off right now, I would cry.
It reminds me of that day when she cancelled the first DWT shows in Cologne. It was supposed to be my first Madonna show and I had the best seats ever. I got a refund for them but couldn't manage to get tickets for any other European show after she cancelled them because the demand was SO high, so I didn't see the show at all. Long story short - I feel your pain
