Agreed. And why do some users feel the need to repeat themselves over and over and over. This is not a competition 'who was the first person to predict the correct setlist'This thread is slowly doing my head in. People going to walk out if certain songs are played, big hits like Holiday bugging people as over-played, and constant talk of information from MadonnaTribe.
😕😧

I also expected a Kilo Mango pic to pop up with wires around her face. lmao Didn't even realize I was in the Rebel Heart subforum.
To answer the OPs question, I don't really see a connection, except for the word 'Rebel'
-
Does Unapologetic Bitch make sense in a medieval/Joan of Arc themed section, though? I don't think so. It would make sense if BIM was the opener.
We don't know exactly how the first act is gonna look like.
Does Hung Up make sense in the Transgression segment?

If we believe the rumours...
Iconic
Between the Bars / American Life
Hold Tight
Ghosttown
Wash All Over Me
(S.E.X.)
Holy Water / Vogue
Like a Virgin
Justify My Love / Inside Out
Devil Pray
(Rescue Me)
Body Shop
Dress You Up
Who's That Girl / La Isla Bonita
Rebel Heart
Don't Tell Me
(Veni Vidi Vici)
Deeper and Deeper
Take a Bow or HeartBreakCity
Nothing Really Matters or Frozen
Living for Love / Like a Prayer
(Illuminati)
Bitch, I'm Madonna
Unapologetic Bitch
Holiday
Music
Looks like a pretty decent setlist to me.
There have been many other rumors (such as Unapologetic Bitch being the second song). I think we will get a classic hit in the first act. Basically, we don't know shit yet.

I think some people are confusing 'underrated' or 'forgotten' with 'unpopular'
-
I think he meant to say "two TOURS later".
lol yes, I noticed that after I posted my comment. At first I was like 'wtf, did I miss some after-show where she performed it live'
-
However, it was quite interesting that "Paradise (Not for Me)" was upgraded from video interlude in DWT to full performance two hours later.
What do you mean?
-
Did you people know that Aya and Bambi are a lesbian couple??
That's so cool
Yeah, they're engaged
-
oooohhh Unapologetic Bitch as the second song sounds great, I hope it's true

I don't understand your reasoning. Of course it's their problem personally. But if enough people get disappointed once they won't necessarily come back again for the next tour to be possibly disappointed twice. It then becomes another kind of problem.
And I don't understand your reasoning. So Madonna should scrap her artistic vision and completely cater to those casual fans who didn't even bother to listen to her new album in order to sell out a venue. No thanks. I'd rather she play in smaller venues then in future if that means we still get some surprises in the setlist and she follows her instics. I already said that I agree with most of you and that I would love to hear more hits but I can't with these stories of disappointed people who obviously don't understand where M is coming from artistically.
We all know what caused the 'problems' and it has been discussed many many times. She has over saturated some markets, the prices are too high, she isn't as successful anymore as she used to be, her late starts from MDNA and so on....the setlist definitely plays a part in all this but only a small one. She will always sell out her shows even if it takes longer than before.

Well wakey wakey, hand off snakey. Madonna is NOT Bjork. Bjork is an alternative artist with a cult following doing concerts for 2000 people. Madonna is a mainstream pop SUPERSTAR with dozens of hits performing to 15,000 plus per show including thousands of casual fans expecting hits. Very different.
Umm whatever. I never claimed that. There were about 10,000 people in the audience yesterday too, so. Björk is not Grimes or some new indie chick who had 2 albums. She is a well respected artist and attracts more non-fans that one would imagine. Anyway, let's get back to the RH Tour!
-
Totally different artists and fanbases though, you must admit. Madonna IS in legacy act status at this point, and a large proportion of her attendees want to hear the hits - end of. Otherwise M will be playing to the same size live audience that Bjork does, except for $5000 a ticket, or not at all...
Of course they are different artists with different fanbases. I just picked Björk as an example because I saw her yesterday and the memories are still fresh. I'm also not disagreeing with what you guys are saying. I also believe that M is going to alienate more and more casual fans if she doesn't perform more hits and by the looks of it, she got the memo and the RH is going to be different. BUT what I don't agree with is that she should aim for a GH Tour kind of thing just because some people don't even bother to listen to her new album. If they leave a show being disappointed because they didn't know half of the setlist then that's really their problem.

You not alone, the people I went with are casual fans ( or were causal fans until the Hyde Park show now they say they will never pay a lot of money to see her again). For the first 4 songs they were like WTF??? She lost peoples attention because of the lack of a huge hit and then she literally destroyed HU her biggest song ever by reducing it to a dreadful dirge. When PDP started my friends screamed and danced and then went crazy to EY. For OYH they did get all the talk about crushed apples (anyone remember her speech before OYH?) They loved Vogue, LAP, HN and Celebration but didn't think the show was worth the money and left disappointed.
I understand that people expect more hits but it's kind of disrespectful that she apparently lost peoples attention just because she opened the show with a couple of songs from the album she named the tour after. If they left disappointed because they didn't know the songs, then that's their problem.
You never hear these kinda stories with other artists, it seems. I went to see Björk yesterday, her tour is called Vulnicura Tour because she is touring her current album and out of a 16 track setlist she played 8 new songs. In fact, the first 5 songs were all from the new album but the whole audience was in awe and loved it (as far as I could tell).

Love Profusion is one of her best songs since 2000 and criminally underrated!! However, I don't think she will ever perform it live unfortunately
-
There are no problems with the vocals, production, mixing, mastering or anything at all which was all done by world class professionals. The problem is your ears. Next.
What a silly and childish thing to say
-
The production/mixing/mastering on this album seems well done, at least to my ears. However, I tend to skip Iconic because it is too loud and noisy and Hold Tight because it is too flat and the volume seems completely off compared to the rest. Oh and Wash All Over Me, too.

The only performance that was captured well was LAV/Love Spent (yes, I loved the pictures)!

Well, she cannot create iconic stuff (music, videos, looks) all the time. Give her a break. The WTG dress looks cute, I love the colors
-
The teasers look incredible, can't wait for this tour. It looks like Aya and Bambi (?) are going to choreograph some fierce dance routines, yaaassss!
As for the opening number - we don't know shit. Hold Tight doesn't sound like an opening song to me at all (unless it's remixed, which I doubt). I believe Iconic is going to be the cage number and by the looks of it, it's going to be EPIC.

:/ the one with MNEK is 10 times better than the watered down Gwen Stefani recycled album version
I agree. It's one of the weaker tracks on RH in my opinion...
Countdown to REBEL HEART Tour: less than a month to OPENING NIGHT!

Sanctuary is great but let's be real, Madonna would probably be all 'I don't know her'-like if someone from her team would suggest it
