  1. Honestly, I think people are overestimating the amount of people that have heard the song since December. The download and stream for all the tracks besides LFL and BIM are quite low. To 99% of people, Ghosttown might as well be released this week for the first time. It should make absolutely no difference.

Most people haven't even heard Living For Love.

Ghosttown could defo become a hit, but I think it's all up to radio, media exposure of the song such as in ads or whatver, and promo by M herself. Or whatever way people hear new music.

  2. I've never been to an all seated Madonna concert. The only one I ever went to which was all seated was Sade. lol

All of her US shows are seated, right? So what does that even mean, you sit there and wait until she comes on stage and then jump off and dance until it's over? Why do they need seats?

I'm actually wondering the same thing! We never have seated floors in Sweden.

If a show ends late you can end up stranded. They close the station due to overcrowding etc and cos it's located in the most random part of London it takes forever to get home. Happened to us after Rihanna. But I guess that's the same with all arenas probably. I'm just being pedantic and worrying extra early. Don't listen lol!

When I saw Pharrell @ the O2 last year this was my biggest worry, however we managed to get on the tube and got home with bascially no problems. A bit worried about this being an issue if I see her in London this time tho, can't be sure of how late Madonna goes on lol...

  3. Great interview. Especially liked the part where she spoke about art and pop culture and how they've been more and more separated over the years. So true, unfortunately.

    Oh and,

Actually, I quite like the idea doing a different kind of tour—and don’t get any ideas because this is not gonna happen right now—where I would sing songs and play guitar and just have maybe one other musician out there with me; it's just me and a guitar and a good bottle of wine.

Aka what we're all waiting for. :dramatic: Great to know that she's got it on her mind.

  4. Ticket prices for the Danish show (17 November)

    PL1 (seated): 1340 DKK ~ US$ 201

    PL2 (seated): 890 DKK ~ US$ 134

    PL3U (GA standing): 690 DKK ~ US$ 104

    PL4 (seated): 530 DKK ~ US$ 80

    PL5 (seated): 325 DKK ~ US$ 49

    Hot Ticket: 2235 DKK ~ US$ 336

    Early Entry: 1585 DKK ~ US$ 238

In general, ticket prices are slightly lower than the Parken show in 2012. Back then, Early Entry tickets cost 25% more.

Great prices. Thank god it seems this tour'll be cheaper than MDNA.

I'm thinking about buying a ticket to the Danish show aswell, but I'm probably gonna end up doing it second hand since I heard about a law over there that prevents scalpers from selling a concert ticket for a higher price than the original... Is this true?

  5. where did you see the show?

Gothenburg, Sweden. The audience was a mess, the press dragged her for filth, but lemme just be thankful the helicopter pics of the stadium didn't go widespread cause it looked tragic.

Madonna was surprisingly happy tho, put on an amazing show and I had one of the best nights of my life. That's why I'm really hoping I'll afford seeing her plenty times this tour. Not here for another one-off in this shitty country! Lol

  6. I admit I haven't followed the cheapest ticket pricing for her arenas, but has Madonna ever NOT sold out an arena? Especially if she's going to be performing fewer dates or just one night per city, I can't imagine it happening. Madonna is also not U2, so I won't worry about people not being willing to pay for her.

I might be blindly oblivious, but I can't say I've ever really seen a teen at a Madonna concert either. The top two pricing tiers are generally 21+ for financial reasons, and that covers most of the venue.

lol, I was 17 when I saw her at the MDNA tour and there were loads more teens around. And the show I went to was probably the biggest flop of the entire tour, 20-30k tickets sold out of about 70k available.

The high prices sure as hell didn't help back then, and I unfortunately don't think it'll be the case this time around either.

I'm just hoping the prices aren't too high tho, as I'm dying to attend multiple shows this time around.

  7. So excited for this interview! And are those platforms she's wearing for Living For Love? :dramatic: Watch the ageists drag her for it tho... Ugh

And lemme just be extremely thankful for the fact that the flawless Ghosttown is getting the single treatment. Avengin ha forgotten and overlooked sister Masterpiece :cries:

  8. She responded to it on Instagram, she's in good spirits!

I swear to god, whoever wrote that post probs had a gun held to their head as they did it lol. She's gotta be so fucking angry right now I don't even wanna think about it...

I was a bit scared too at first and shouted out loud at the TV when I saw her fall down from such a height. So glad she's ok. Hoping she isn't badly injured or anything. :(

  9. A FUCKING DISASTER. It started out so well. I mean the new intro was fucking glorious, epic, majestic, iconic and then that fucking accident... You could see her shift into a lowkey boiling temper, especially compared to how she was feeling during the Grammys.

I feel sososo fucking bad for her, but she did her absolute best to save it and carried on gracefully. The new choreo slayed, just so pissed that she didn't get to do the performance as perfectly as she'd want to.

Oh well whatever, she once again proved why she's The Queen.
