    Hi! I've been a fan since Girl Gone Wild release, so I'm a very new fan. Yes, I am one of the rare cases where MDNA converted me! I have a high respect for her older fans: they have stay committed to her for year.... some for most of career. That is something I find to be amazing!

    As I won Golden Triangle tickets for the Charlotte show, I met so many fans, ranging from 20s - 50s. I talked to many of them, and it was incredible how much they were committed to Madonna. I do respect that!

    I do see though (I'm one of them) where new M fans tend to go on the her newer material, versus their older material. I rarely listen to her first albums, besides the singles, and I don't go near Erotica / Bedtime Stories. Music is about the oldest album I find myself still listening to regularly. But I will sometimes pull up Ray Of Light or Like A Prayer! And True Blue is great too!!

    You have no idea what you are missing! You can't get more Madonna then the Erotica album.

    It's great to see Madonna still gaining new fans with a supposed flop era like MDNA!

    Anyway, i'm a fan since 2004...u guys ready? I became a fan after The Next Best Thing was on TV...not because of the movie, but because American Pie played during the credits...i asked my parents if that was a Madonna song...they said "yes" and i went to her official website...when i saw that the Like A Virgin/La Isla Bonita/Don't Cry For Me Argentina singer (the only M songs i knew the title) was also the same singer from Frozen, Music, Ray Of Light, Secret, Rain, You'll See, etc...i was shocked!

    Since i'm a more recent fan, my favorite Madonna decades are 90's >>>> 00's >>>> 80's

    And yeah...i get pissed of when sometimes people talk about Madonna like an artifact from the 80's, when she actually sold more during the rest of her career, and had a lot more hits than the ones from the 80's!

    I also hate it when some older fans talk about everything she did during the 80's like it's untouchable or even sacred...like you can't even criticize anything. You know...those fans that say the True Blue music video is a masterpiece and than the Girl Gone Wild video is just "average" xD

    Yep! I remember the shit hitting the fan with a lot of younger fans, but I assumed it was because of the whole "bandwagon" thing.

    Don't get me wrong, I do love some 80's Madonna, I've just always been more into what she's doing currently. If I want to listen to something older its typically Erotica or Bedtime Stories,

    and I learned a long time ago that she isn't going to settle on a "sound" and stick with it.

    And knowing and accepting that my friend is the Key to being a good Madonna fan and enjoying her music.

    WIlliam Orbit is so full of shit now it's embarrassing. That Chris Brown song he said M rejected is BEYOND SHIT, it's about as shit as HC.

    Instead of talking about M, isn't he supposed to be trying to be one of these dumb whores like Britney and RIhanna and Gorgon producers or something?

    Wrong! "Don't wake me up" is a great song i feel kinda sad that M rejected it.
