I had the same experience than many here. Been to a diner with friends. We watched eurovision to have a good laugh and to see Madonna. And then after 2 lines of LAP, BOOM!!! The coments: she sounds horrible, she can't sing, This version of LAP is a bit boring no? and then this weird moment spoken. And then future. Let's say the performance did nothing for the song. It was meh all a long. And the same critics: boring, she sounds bad, this is her new song? Why not medellin? (many people knew medellin). And then, it was over. I know she is all artistic and her integrity as an artist it's more important than a commercial driven performance, but for god sake it was the eurovision! She should have known better or she should be managed better. But well. A big opportunity lost. She used to know how to turn a performance to her advantage: live aids, superbowl... but saturday performance was bad, boring and forgetable. And this is what hurt the most.

I know she’s not a crowd pleaser. Ok, but this is the biggest audience she ever play. People who only know 1 or 2 sons from her. Dont you think an energic medley would have been wonderfull for her brand?

The chorus is catchy and the bridge is wonderfull... Really Madame X is shapping into a really good album. Too bad I didn't fall in love with one of them.

She looks sensational, and it's cute we have 2 videos with a "storyline". We didn't have that since forever. The song is great. I wish she would slay all the carts accross the universe, cause she's reall giving her all this era. Love her

My favs from the album include:
- Future's production reminds me of how they use the horn in (Ariana's) Bloodline. The song is a summery reggae bop. Madonna and Quavo actually sound great and own the song.
- God Control starts out angelically with a gospel choir and smoothly turns into a disco upbeat fever, after a few gunshots lol. (I Don't Search I Find is the other disco-inspired track left in the album).
- Faz Gostoso (feat. Anitta) is quite interesting with Madonna singing in Portuguese. To me, this song is perfect to be the 1st single, not Medellín, it still has that Portugal vibe but super catchy and danceable.

Someone asked me, how do I get most of my comment to have so many likes? Well, first I have created multiple YouTube accounts, and I Like each one of my comment from each account as soon I have it posted. So, my comments have a couple of likes as a starting point. Comments with multiple likes in a short period usually do well. I also like new comments that others make from all accounts.
If every fan were like you she would do better on the charts

it took me 1 week but i like Medellin... it's a real grower who stuck in your mind just after the first listening... In fact some lyrics likes : 1, 2, chacha or slow down papi or ven conmigo let's take a chance, are kind of addictive. Also, it's easy to listen this song, it's not agressive like living for love or irritating like give me all your love, it's just easy to the ears... and really radio friendly. The chorus, very catchy, si te enmoroooo, should arrived after the first ven conmigo let's take a chance... I guess the radio edit will be like that.

Well, Madame X is a secret agent, a freedom fighter, a chacha instructor but not a live singer
