it was the version i've always dreamed of..... even better
i don't know about you guys but when heard the first chords my heart stop, then a pause and for a second i though "oh no! slow version again" but restart in all his full glory, even the guitar bridge and the final verses with a proper end (unlike the GS version)
(i can't find a full performance video and i need it in my life)

If ANYONE finds a decent recording of the screens for Rebel Heart, please let me know. I have a hard time finding video or images of my artwork on the screens. I saw them live last night THANK GOD, at least three pieces made it into the show! I just want visual proof to cherish and marvel at. This is sooooooo freaking exciting!!!

True Blue for me.
I always think of COADF as sort of the True Blue of the 2000's, very commercial and solid pop songs filled with great hooks and melodies but i don't see TB as a 'gay' album or whatever, internationally it was her commercial peak, it was one of those albums that everybody knew the songs, from little kids to grown ups...my 87 year old grandma knew what La Isla Bonita was lmao

Madonna coming back to Argentina for the first time in 18 years was a huge deal, same in 2012 to a more normal extent..Erm ... What sort of "not fan" goes to three shows in four years? These things aren't cheap.
My sister never really liked her but she still went to a S&S show, we don't get these huge superstars and shows here that often, americans and europeans are used to that, it's kinda like an event over here

It's funny cause the other day a friend who is not a fan, came home and candy shop was playing and to my surpise he sang the sugar is raw bit like he knew the song pretty well, i asked and he told me he knows the song thanks to 2 S&S shows and one mdna show...
Then it hit me that in my country she performed candy shop to 260,000 ppl in 2008 and 150,000 in 2012...
Being the opening song probably helped too...so i guess here CS is sort of a hit lol

If i break the law, i go to jail, why should it be any different for her?
And this is not traffic violation laws that she's breaking, this is about human rights and how we all deserve to be treated equally.
I have no problem with anyone elses beliefs but clearly she chose the wrong job, she should quit so she can respect her own views as ignorant as they may be, and let someone else do her old job the way its supposed to be, her religious beliefs should never affect others peoples human rights...
Again, it's people wanting to get married, some of these conservative fools act as if these couples were planning a public orgy or whatever

I thought it was very telling when J Ross asked her if she was in good terms with Chris and she said yes but added that sharing the same blood doesn't necessarily make you family or sthg to that effect

Academy awards&EY vid Are two of Madonna's most iconic defining moments, this is going to be amazing
Maybe its cause ive been a fan forever, but watching Madonna acknowledge career defining moments like the EY video and the AA performance makes me so happy and also brings so much memories...i respect everyones opinion obviously but i could never dismiss things like these, saying oh she looks like GGW video...
Can't wait to see what she has in store for us tonight!

...though apparently those giant side things might not be screens afterall.I don't see any wires behind those two panels and you kinda see them behind the smaller ones...could it be something to block the light from the sides to maximize the effects/lights used whenever they open the screens in the middle?
If she indeed comes out in a cage i imagine a very Madonna-esque dramatic entrance...so exciting!

I think so too, she kinda talked about it in some interview a while ago(maybe around the mdna dvd release?), that during the tour she totally changed the way she did her shows in a way(adding and mixing up songs, addressing important topics, etc), and that she was excited because it kinda opened a new door for her with lots of different possibilities...anyone remember?
I kinda think it all started with S&S's request section imo...

The STR remix uses the original vocals, they even let that small glitch on the last note(never knew if its a glitch or if its her own voice cracking a bit for a micro second)

Am i the only one who's super excited for LDLHA? I never liked it as a child, but i re-discovered it thanks to STR and have loved it ever since, love her vocals on it

Yeah, i know what you meanoh i thought it was a tour bus. looked like it. maybe it was when i saw other tour dancers in the bus and then they showed a frame of madonna taking a nap and you could just see part of her face & hair. maybe some know what im talking about..
I loved one of the bits used in Promise to try, her profile, resting her head on the car seat, eyes open, looking up...

when i was younger and watched truth or dare, theres a frame where you see her taking a nap on the tour bus. and she looks like a real angel. i first thought it was a statue.

I love Madonna selfies. It's so cool, considering she is not from this generation where you get to know someone through their online presence. We got to know her decades ago as a superstar, and now she's showing us herself through her selfies. Posing herself, editing herself, uploading. No middle man, it's really cool when you think about it.
There are tons of selfies from her that go back to her Danceteria, cbgb's days, then there's that famous Susan scene, so certainly not new for her...

I wouldn't rule it out ... The whole fan-submitted art seems to fit with this song most of all. And, for it being relegated to the super deluxe album, she obviously re-recorded vocals (altering the lyrics referring to Frida painting all her dreams and making her own reality, plus the bridge about the wall and the masterpiece) from the demo. Other super deluxe songs just got remixed -- even "Beautiful Scars" vocals didn't get re-recorded for the changing of pitches in the melodic line! So ... not to give false hope, but I'd expect this to be included somehow, some way (interlude or sung).
I agree, she's been very nostalgic posting pictures with Basquiat, Haring...so i think there's a chance she might include it, it would work well as an interlude i think...

I didn't go to that show but i remember watching this video after the first show, so exciting to see the video with the crowd going nuts i can't imagine what it must have felt to see it live! The one time she sang FL live!I just watched the Confessions Tour (well, Opening - LIke a Virgin)
Confessions, hands down. I will never forget those intense minutes opening night when the lights went out, then the entire place turned into a huge disco ball, then BAMMMMMM THAT BASS AND THE INTENSE DARK MUSIC AND THE VISUALS. IT ALL KEPT BUILDING AND BUILDING AND THEN BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM THE DAMN DISCO BALL OPENED UP. Two members here let me sneak up to the front with them because I wasn't going to not be at the front. We were screaming and holding on to each other and I thought I was going to have a heart attack

Exactly, those MDNA LED lifts and the inflatable roof were brand new very complex technology, that alone probably costed almost as much as the new stage, and the new screens look a little bit bigger in height to the S&S ones, they're obviously not as big the MDNA ones, they still look amazing though but it's pretty easy to see
