  1. Her look has been a bit repetitive over the last few years ( a little flick of the hair does not maketh a look ) I would like to see her do something a little more drastic for this era. She has always been far too white and pasty ( very English ) I would like to see her faked tanned, bring back the mole ( has been a while ) sandy beachy hair. A slutty mature Gidget.

  2. The result of Rebel Heart's 48-hour turnaround? The album preorder topped the iTunes charts in more than 40 countries -- including the United States, where three of the six released tracks entered Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songschart dated Jan. 3, despite just two days of eligibility. To date, the six tracks have sold a combined 131,000 downloads, according to Nielsen Music, with preorders for Rebel Heart at a robust (considering the situation) 50,000 to 60,000, according to industry estimates. "We know that in today's world, having a top 10 album with no promotion is really hard," Oseary says. "It's pretty... exciting isn't the right word, but it's rewarding to see it so well-received."

Does this mean it is now sold out on iTunes?

  3. Is this him here?

    134hfhg.png

Her comment pretty much gives it away " grinding on that wood" not sure of other countries but usually when we mention a woodie, wood etc means cock!

And her.............surfboard comment, classic slut sarcasm.

About time she dated / fucked a man who has gone through puberty and can grow a beard- not bum fluff, Yum!

  4. Both LTT and Vogue were released about two months before their respective albums and both stated on their sleeves that they were from the upcoming album. DAD only mentioned the movie. DAD was probably not intended to be part of AL at first.

That's the weird thing, play anyone DAD and they would think it a part of the American life album ( same with LTT and true blue). However vogue sticks out like a sore thumb on I'm Breathless ( from a music perspective ) and was originally Keep It Togethers b-side. Warner's and Madonna certainly knew how to milk a single for all it's worth ;)

  5. David Fincher would be great, but I think he's too busy... And I don't think big movie directors will work with her, for many reasons (too expensive, schedule conflicts, ego conflicts...)

One thing is sure with this video : she'll surprise us all! She wants LFL to be a hit :Disco_Ball:

Why oh why do people want David Fincher? Have you not seen that stinky piece of crap known as Gone Girl, yuk! The man has lost it completely since last directing Madonna ( though I adore his film clips )

In all seriousness, I would like to see Jane Fonda direct LFL ( let's hope Bette is scrapped ) I could so see an aerobics theme to this clip, with Leg Warner's and Charlie Horses!

  6. I don't understand this whole cultural appropriation thing. What's wrong with appreciating the culture of another ethnic group or race? How is that racist? It would be more racist if you have no interest in other people's cultures or customs. I happen to love Indian, Vietnamese, Thai and Korean food more than American food. Am I culturally appropriating their food?

That certainly makes you a reverse racist! You should stick to things you know like white hot dogs and fries ( not of the French variety )

  7. Pretty much all the time. Someone will make a comment exactly like you did in this thread and everyone will crawl out the woodwork saying its so misunderstood, her most political, musically experimental, etc. and how it was a big injustice that it flopped... then we talk about the pulled video and supposed radio boycotts. Its the stock standard American Life conversation that happens every other week.

Trust me, it is not underrated or forgotten on this board.

Nothing on here is underrated, we even hold vigils for Bedtime Stories. Soon we will be doing the same to Hard Candy. :rotfl:

Not only vigils :) but it seems like there is a birthday every day on Madonnanation:

    Happy 4.5 birthday celebration single

    Sweet 16 Ray Of Light

Happy belated birthday to the demos from Rebel Heart

My Cherish cassingle just celebrated it's bamitzva

Happy Ramadan to non single Issac

"Madonna doesn't have an ego problem; she has a sin problem. And it's getting worse. Unrepentant and hardened from sin, no amount of make-up or photo-shop can conceal the evil in her eyes. Ensnaring millions into a web of destruction, Madonna is preparing fans for a specific event. Using biblical discernment concerning the times in which we live, and her own words, Madonna's agenda becomes clear. Learn the origin behind her deviant obsessions, and uncover the inspiration behind her best-loved songs. The 'light' she sings about is the force driving her one-woman empire, and will soon make an unforgettable appearance on earth. Whether you're a long-time fan, or haven't paid attention to her in years, Madonna's deception is finally unmasked. Is she just a pop star, or an agent of Satan? Hidden in plain sight, see what you have been looking at all these years. Truly, in Madonna's world, nothing is what it seems." - from the Christian Post[/size]

    :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Agent of Satan would have made the coolest album title.

  9. Yes Yes Yes. Agree totally. Madonna and Molly were always gold together. They both admit to adoring each other as well. Madonna has been in contact with him and enquires about him all the time since his accident as well. He said that in an interview I read with him.

I am being greedy but want to see Madonna interviewed again this era by Molly, Ellen, David Letterman, Rosie, Oprah, Jimmy Fallan and Graham Norton. I love her interviews so much. Shame Michael Parkinson retired as she was gold with him too. I would enjoy a Wendy interview as well.

Not many fans liked it, but I thought the interview / chat with Ruby Wax was hilarious, you got to see the cunty side as well as the hilarious side of Madonna all in one :) another interview with her would be cool.

  10. Don't worry, Freddy's on the case:

    217767179_b9389ea847.jpg

Loved it when it use to take you 45 minutes to " download" and album :)

    Simple fact:

If Madonna were to go back to recording on analogue equipment, not only would she reduce thievery by 97%, she would have a more consistent and higher quality sound to her recordings. And would than not be slayed by Shakira.

Don't tell Guy about the above, because he is moron!

  11. Thank you. The backseat driving of madonna's career in this thread is hilarious.

    Correct

I think the simplest solution would be to hand over Guy to Kylie Minogue to manage her career ( there pretty much on the same projectory path ) no one wants to steal her demos, and he can give her album away like U2's, the only issue being people still wanting a refund, despite no cost. He can than open up the KM gyms where people learn to twirl a feather boa and sexercize.

Return Freddy to Madonna, though as some people have pointed out he will have to learn this thing called the Internet. Madonna to upgrade her Norton anti-viral 2001 program on her Dell laptop computer.

Return Shakira to her native country where she can eat some grass along with the other billy goats.

  12. One thing is certain: Madonna has to try a different approach in the future,or else this stuff will keep happening whenever she records an album. She's gotta find a way to protect her music.Do we really wanna go through all this again in two-three years (demos leaking early, messing up her promotional plans)? It's a serious problem that needs to be fixed.

Knowing Madonna, her log in name would be: Madonna, and Password: Lola ( or anyone of her four children ).

"How the fuck did those shits guess my user password Guy?" "mother fuck" sprays mouth with that solution from blond ambition tour ( same bottle) mother fuck, alright I have changed it now to Olga, let's see those shits guess it now! Guy O replies, oooooh now that's a difficult one, they will never be able to guess that one.

  13. Sorry Ivy, Holiday was Madonna's first hit in Australia. It was huge here on the charts before any other country. Then followed by Burning up, Borderline and Lucky Star.

Maybe that explains why she hates Australia, we couldn't even get the single releases correct off of the first album :) its odd though as I tend to see a lot more copies of 12" burning up than holiday ( pretty scarce ) when looking in 2nd hand shops, vinyl stores and record fares. It also came in a beautiful hard cardboard cover instead the flimsy holiday paper cover :(

Anyhoo, fuck we must be old if we can recall purchasing like a virgin ;)

  14. Congratulations Jonski. I am also a member of the 30 year fan club. Loved Madonna since the first time I saw her on Countdown singing Holiday which become her first hit in Australia. We are the smart wise music fans from the 80's who instinctively were drawn to the woman who would become the biggest, most influential and consistently great music star of all time. The fact that now she is still attracting new fans is incredible. Madonna - loved by people of all ages, nationalities and gender. I am a fan of her for so many reasons but the music has always been the ultimate factor. She is incredible.

Incorrect, we made Burning up a hugh hit before the world even took notice of Madonna with Holiday! And she has the gall to ignore us for sooooo long :)

Wonder whatever happened to my Like A Virgin cassette ( and she's so unusual ) purchased with hard earned pocket money.
