A lot of parents/family care more about what others think and not what their kids think.
If the bible, Quran and other religious texts were to have come out these times, we would have put in the same group as Scientology and other cult groups..
Religion just divides people, brings out hate.

Sadly these so called "honour" killings happen. I have read sickening comments like she exposed herself on social media etc putting blame on her and not the coward who killed her.
Just sad that alot of Muslims girls can't live the life that they want.

Forget alligators. I would be holding onto my child near open water in fear of them drowning.
Yes the father was near the kid, watching over him, he wasn't exactly metres away. This is a very tragic unfortunate event that will traumatise these parents.

Yeah the father was with the kid near the water apparently. The parents deserve an outpouring of support.
It kills me to hear anything happening to children especially this age range. My brothers are younger and I helped raise them a bit and my favorite memories are when they were first learning to talk, always asking to be picked up, right around that age. I would have lost my mind if something happened to them.
Yes it is really uncalled for this parents blaming. I'm a parent, I have let my kids roam around lakes, beaches etc with my eyes on them. A little kid got GRABBED! Have some sympathy for the parents for goodness sakes!

The alligators were there before Disney World. A lot of resorts have swamps and surrounded by swamps.
This would be a very good reason for me not to ever book! This would scare the living daylights out of me knowing there are alligators near by.

His wife was born in the US, in California. She is the daughter of Palestinian immigrants. If they were so religious, how come in the pictures I've seen of her online, she's not wearing a head scarf?
Her parents said since she married the shooter they rarely saw her. That's typical of abusers, they isolate their wives or girlfriends from the families so they have no one to turn to.
I'm a Muslim and I don't wear a head scarf on my head or wear burka/hijab and my parents are pretty old fashion..
