The only negativity in this thread comes from those who complain about the negativity.
I just people feel as though others are expressing their opinions a bit harshly. I have no problem with people expressing their opinion, but some come across so arrogant and feel as though their opinion is fact and it's annoying.

Want to listen to Rebel Heart in HIGH QUALITY? Try TIDAL hifi, also known as WIMP hifi. Its over 20 million songs in CD quality, including the Madonna discography.
Most of the music on iTunes is only a third of the information of real CD resolution. You will hear the difference.

I think that ghost town is supposed to have those sounds in the beginning. Because to me the songs are definitely remastered, i re downloaded them on my computer.

I have a hard time believing she would include S.E.X., Holy Water, and Best Night. Maybe one. Maybe two. And even then I have a feeling this album is going to be all over the place, honestly.

Yeah, we've got it, you don't want many of the "preachy" songs to make the album, fine, but could you please stop repeating that every time someone posts a different opinion?
Some people here just thoroughly enjoy that side of Madonna and would be happy if these songs were chosen for the tracklist, me included. In fact, I'd absolutely love it if she picked all or almost all acoustic demos for the album.

Everything was stated in the press release and in the interviews and articles there after. If fans and media couldn't comprehend what was stated, that's their problem, and should seek out to purchase Hooked-On-Phonics as something is clearly wrong with themselves.

The only thing wrong with it is that she released the single. It's out there. Now, if you're right that singles and charts don't matter anymore, it wouldn't be a problem. Why is she bothering to promote it at all? But it does matter. Each day that goes by without promo, the less likely LFL will be any kind of hit, whether you define that as 4M (decent airplay support and great sales) or HU (very little airplay but decent sales and fan support). The reason this matters is because while fans can go on and on and on about how "charts" don't matter," the fact is that they don't matter to YOU, but they still matter to the industry (which decides what to play on the radio, what to license to movies, what to nominate for awards) and it matters to public perception, ALL of which are ingredients for a hit album. Yes, hits and awards don't matter. Right. Madonna's legacy is cemented. Who cares? If you feel that way, fine. But in the real world, if the album is deemed unsuccessful, that's what it will be.
What to nominate for rewards? Albums with no hits have still garnered Grammy noms.
