    I just had my first full listen. I am tired because today was and tomorrow will be a long day.

    On first listen, this album is a masterpiece.

    It's gorgeous and adventurous. It is a sonic journey.

    The production is sublime, and the beats.  Seriously, the beats.  I just can't even.

    I love this woman so much.  

    I will give a full review soon. This is all so much to take in.

    I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure they gave Immaculate Collection 5 stars.  This should qualify as the highest praise because that is a rarity.  Of course, it is a greatest hits/retrospective, and so it doesn't count as much.  It seems like it was an acknowledgment that collectively  her work was fucking brilliant, despite the lukewarm reviews for each album up to that point.  Yup.

    Piers Morgan and Elton John seem to be cut from the same cloth. They both harbor a vitriolic hatred toward M.  I just do not get it. There is no other celebrity that I know of that attracts this level disdain.  Is it too simplistic to say that they are two white males in positions of power who are massively threatened by her and what she represents?

    In any case, I was also depressed after watching Eurovision. I wanted M to be the baddass that I know and love. I was anticipating the euphoria I felt after the Superbowl and the debut performance of Living For Love on the Grammys in the US (the opening of that took my breathe away btw). The Eurovision performance did not live up to what I know she is capable of. That night, I grieved for a bit while in bed before finally falling asleep. In the morning, I remembered that this is the same woman who got the shit kicked out of her after the Sex book and Erotica era and then gave us Evita and Ray of Light not long thereafter. I know that she will bounce back from this and figure it out.

    This is part of the arch of her epic ongoing narrative, and her story is far from over.

    @Mensch, this is great news, and you've always given us solid infirmation. With this Eurovision mess, M at World Pride would be a show for her BEST audience. I could kiss you right now.  😘

    Once the official announcement is made, I hope all of us gays (except those Lady hoohaa loons) give her lots of love. I think she could use it at the moment.

    Hey Everyone, Madonna's label is running a "sponsored ad" for Medellin and Madame X on Instagram linking to Spotify, but it's being flooded with negative comments.  I just wrote something positive on there, but I'm just one person.  These people are mean.  Please Help? Spread the word.

    Madonna has announced that she will perform at Eurovision in apartheid Tel Aviv next month. This comes at a time when fewer and fewer international artists are agreeing to perform under apartheid, with thousands of artists now publicly supporting the cultural boycott of Israel.

    Take action

    Along with Jewish Voice for Peace, we’re asking Madonna to cancel her Eurovision show. We’ve done this before and we can do it again. Last year, together we urged Lana Del Rey to cancel her show at Israel’s complicit Meteor festival. She did; one of twenty artists to withdraw.

    But we can’t do it without you.

    Will you join us again and sign the petition to Madonna?

    I check this forum every day, and I have tried to be very patient.  I have to admit that I'm getting a little restless for some news or new music.  Sigh.

    In the meantime, is it alright if we just post photos of the handsome men Madonna has slept with while we wait? Or just handsome men in general?
