  1. Do we have to keep comparing ? I'm not fighting with 13 years old Clearasil scenting kids. Do you really think if her monsters had a social and sexual life they'd be 20 millions following her ? If You could have a Twitter account only when being 18 and paying your own bills and not your parents 20 millions would be divided by 10. It feels like slapping a kid on the street just because he or she is acting like an insecure brat just like we did. I'm not preaching nor lecturing it's just that I don't want to lower myself or Madonna to Gaga Level. Madonna is in another league, of her own and comparing gives Gaga the credits she still has to earn.

  2. Be prepared for obnoxious and pretentious french reviews. I've just come to terms that every single music critic i know in major publications is gay and they have a problem with

3 things : 1/ the cliche of gays loving Madonna 2/mainstream music except when it's really really generic and bad because they can plead cynism to like it 3/ They never forgave the dismiss of Mirwais. Music is part of their look, their persona, they want to look original but it's all a construction. They are exactly like Lady Gaga, they found out they by dressing ridiculously they'll hide their natural average to ugly features and by liking obscure peruvian pop bands that they'll look original. It's never about Madonna but all about them.

  3. some BITCH from New York Magazine....just gave this dreadful review...

    http://www.vulture.com/2012/03/music-review-madonna-MDNA.html?mid=twitter_nymag

Gawker's review of the New York Magazine

But this is New York Magazine, the self-sustaining fantasyland of design porn, real estate fellatio, and food fetishism, so of course instead of such proof we get firsthand examples of the author's friends and references to current pop songs and vague-to-the-point-of-meaningless meditations on the "global and abstract... situational anxiety" that allegedly haunts this generation as it has no other, and how things sure have changed since Elizabeth Wurtzel was partying in Soho.

  4. Funny how bad reviews concentrate on her persona and her harshest critics ( always about the cheekbones, not acting her age blah blah) are the same people who had a nervous breakdown a month prior their 25th b-day : women and gays. Madonna's message is You can always be a better version of yourself. You can come from nothing and make it big if you work hard. You can always change your chance so lazy people or the ones who feel entitled will always see her as a threat. But there's no better message than hers, a message of hope, dignity and real equality. Madonna is not only an overachiever but an overcomer as well.

  5. We should compare the reviews Springsteen got when is album was released and how many times his age was mentionned.

Madonna copied Gaga ? He got his press card in the ass from the dong he sucked to get the job ?

Acually Gaga is running aloof in her appt. singing "I'm reduc, i'm reduc, i'm reductive to her love" while covering heself with cheerios.

  6. The only bad review i read so far in France is the one from that website EVENE which is written by a blogger not a journalist.

Popismyheart which is the french Popjustice gave it a rave review. I'm waiting for the Inrocks ( kind of NME meets Pitchfork) review, they gave the sole good review i read of Hard Candy in any country or language (but i know the fag who wrote the review^^). Keep in mind two things : 1/ It's universally known that we are snobs wether it's food, fashion, cinema or Music and yet we produce the cheapest and tackiest things :) 2/ Martin Solveig and especially Benassi are not highly regarded and respected. Mirwais was cool because he came from the punk and post disco scene....Another thing people here (especially in Paris) use the music they listen to as some kind of t-shirt with "I'm cool" written on it. You suddenly see people who never talk about music, never buy a cd or a file, never go to a concert have a say about Madonna's album and mostly negative because they heard people say it was bad but if someone cool says it's good then they'll change their minds....But don't ask them about Mark Lanagan, Trust or the comeback of house music.
