  1. throwing whatever on stage before during or afterwards is just uncivilized, so i don't see the point to that, and once again it was a show for the fans, and was quite special in every sense, i keep on saying that the heat was unbearable though

Well well, France is the new Australia i guess ... just kidding guys just kidding, love OZ

French revolution 2.0 is starting... :old: Tbh she should now decide to go to Australia to express her love for that continent and it's culture

    Setlist:

    1. Gang Bang (4th single  )

    2. Papa Don't Preach

    3. Hung Up

    4. I Don't Give A

    5. Best Friend interlude

    6. Express Yourself

    7. Give Me All Your Luvin'

    8. I Fucked Up (Human Nature Mix)

    9. Speech

    10. Better Be Home Soon (tribute to Australia) (I Love New York Mix)

She will be dressed as Crocodile Hunter during the Transgression segment...

  2. What did they expect for 80 euros in such a small venue? The whole MDNA show?? We've known it was going to be a small show with a limited set list all along, ungrateful greedy twats!

The performances she selected were not good promotion for the album and not for the tour. Candy Shop, Human Nature and the boring version of Open Your Heart + guitar TUTR are not good promotion for the tour. Those are not the best performances and since most people there are casual Madonna fans, she should've played more of MDNA (GGW, GB, LOVE SPENT) or just the classic songs...It was a bad selection for these fans...and I don't blame Madonna, I blame Guy...HE NEEDS TO FUCKING GO! He screwed up the era...he needs to fucking tell her to promote MDNA!

Anyways...she did a great performance! So here's my review:

Turn Up the Radio...was a good opening track, I think she should've changed the performance though...I mean it's your new single, get off your fuckin' guitar and dance or bring the car from BGO back on stage

Open Your Heart...Is one of my all time favourite Madonna songs it's just that the remix should've been more energetic so people can get up and dance

The Speech...tbh she could've performed one or two more songs instead (LOVE SPENT!!!), because those French people obviously didn't bother to listen or understand anyway, otherwise they would've appreciate her performance more

Masterpiece...her voice in this was amazing! What a great performance!

Justify My Love...Best interlude on the tour! I was very excited to finally see the full choreography of the clowns, since we only got to see the backdrop video in full

Vogue...Amazing costumes...good performance, not very thrilled to see it live again...

Candy Shop...She really seems to love that song, doesn't she? Her fans don't and she should know that! The mix is not that good either, it's a good performance, this version is definately better than the album version, but this song doesn't get the crowd excited and doesn't fit in with the setlist of the MDNA tour.

Human Nature...Again one of my favourite Madonna songs, but this performance is unnecessary and hearing it on tour for the third time now, it really makes me hate that song.

Beautiful Killer...Not one of my favourite performances on MDNA, but I was so thrilled to see this live and I didn't get disappointed! This performance was amazing and should definately replace either Hung Up or Revolver on the regular setlist. I think the latter one is going to be it, though. The mix with DAD wasawesome and totally upgraded the song.

Je t'aime...OMG this was the best part! Her paying revenge to that LAV dancer is perfect and tbh works better after Human Nature than Like a Virgin. So, I guess this will replace Like a Virgin, which is good, because people at the show always try to sing along with it, but fail... :(

So this in fact, was more worth seeing than one of the Promo Tour performances she did for COADF, HC, Music and AL, but at least she did promote the albums on those, and I think what people got to see yesterday was neither what they expected or what they wanted. They knew it was only going to be 1h but didn't expect to see the only two segments of the MDNA Tour, but a selection from all sections and that, I think, would've been better! Again, I don't blame M, but her management, they should've published more information about the show and the way it was going to be. There was room for 5 more songs since it was only 45 minutes long (+ a ten minute long speech) and I bet everyone would've been satisfied aterwards. (even if she would've added LAP, EY and Celebration) Her decision to do the Basque + M/F segment, which are probably her most artistic, was a good decision in order to prove that she is an artist, but those French people obviously didn't care to see "art".

  3. The Die Another Day music would fit well in place of Hung Up.

Maybe they have rehearsed the changes prior to the tour starting? I seem to recall various songs like Physical Attraction and Nothing Really Matters being rumoured to have been in rehearsals. I would love to hear THOSE live instead of crap like Beautiful Killer.

+1 I'm just glad that she's actually changing the setlist a little bit...It still might be that she replaces/adds other songs from time to time.

  4. Exactly. This fans are the worst. They truly believe they are so important that how come the bitch doesn't tour there. Why should she put Australia before Latin America? Just because she hasn't tour there for 20 years? C'mon. She hasn't toured China, Africa, Asia and many other places. This people are no better than anyone else and if she is not touring Australia its because she has a reason for that and she won't put anyone before others just because she hasnt perform there for years. That's not a reason to put on a show in the first place.

Agree. Agree. Agree. I can't wait to see the meltdowns in 2016...

  5. yeah she still has room to add some! excluding the video interludes theres only 21 performances, the show isnt even 2 hours, you can tell they rehearsed more and stripped the show down cos remember when she did the FB chat with Jimmy Fallon she said the show is over 2 hours long

It should've been longer than 2hours! MDNA is a 16 track-album + she had/wanted to add Celebration and Revolver. The should've had at least 27 tracks, but Madonna would never do a 27 track concert. I mean, she didn't even want to tour Australia... :erotica:

  6. Im a sinner and LAV are AMAZING. how can you not love it?

I really want her to dance during I'm a Sinner, just her standing there with the guitar and those ridiculous Hawaiian flower necklaces is not what this song's performance should be like. (Same with TUTR) What I don't like about this setlist is that it only features "oldies" that were performed during the last decade, apart from OYH and JML. Vogue, LAP, Hung Up, Candy Shop and Human Nature have all been performed on S&S. The performance of Vogue is amazing! The performance of LAP is good, but not nearly as good as S&S. Hung Up is just as awful, as the one on S&S, CS was probably one of the worst songs on HC and Human Nature is only good if she flashes her nipples...

Like a Virgin is either hate it or love it, I don't think it's that good, it's too low for her voice imo. (But that's just my opinion, you don't have to agree on that.)

Everybody should be performed before Celebration and a song from Ray of Light should be added to the setlist (NRM!!!) Physical Attraction should replace Candy Shop and Deeper and Deeper should replace Hung Up, while BK/DAD should replace Revolver. So we'll have:

    1. Girl Gone Wild

    2. Beautiful Killer

    3. Gang Bang

    4. Papa Don't Preach

    5. Deeper and Deeper

    6. I Don't Give A

    7. Best Friend

    8. Express Yourself

    9. Give Me All Your Luvin'

    10. Turn Up the Radio

    11. Open Your Heart

    12. Masterpiece

    13. Love Spent (first verse acoustic, after that, album version)

    14. Justify My Love

    15. Vogue

    16. Physical Attraction

    17. Human Nature

    18. Like a Virgin or Falling Free

    19. Nobody Knows Me

    20. Nothing Really Matters

    21. I'm Addicted

    22. Like a Prayer

    23. Everybody

    24. Celebration

  7. I really hope that this means that there'll be more songs added or replaced throughout the tour. My kick-out candidates are:

Revolver, Hung Up, I'm a Sinner, Human Nature, Candy Shop, Like a Virgin and maybe Masterpiece (only if she adds Love Spent instead)

Yeah, I know it's a lot, but those are the weakest performances imo and I'd really like to see Everybody, NRM, LS, PA, Some Girls and FF.

btw...I think this tour's setlist is one of her worst along with GS, DWT and S&S.

  8. According to Madonnarama

Madonna has rehearsed a mash-up, during the soundcheck of the MDNA Tour concert in Birmingham, she’d like to incorporate in the Olympia performance and possibly also include in the setlist for future MDNA Tour shows.

A “Die Another Day vs. Beautiful Killer” mash-up, which has Madonna singing the Beautifull Killer lyrics on top of the Die Another Day music. A very interesting combination!

Sounds good to me! :) I hope this replaces Revolver or Hung Up...

  9. Officially a has-been; nothing she has done in the past 4 years is worthy of her fans' support...

She basically is just doing oldies' tour at this point... what a shame.

    S&S:

    9(8)/12 Hard Candy tracks

    Borderline (1st leg)

    Holiday (2nd leg)

    Into the Groove

    Dress You Up (2nd leg)

    La Isla Bonita

    Like a Prayer

    Vogue

    Rain/Here Comes the Rain Again

    Human Nature

    You Must Love Me

    Ray of Light

    Frozen (2nd leg)

    Music

    Die Another Day

    Hung Up (1st leg)

    MDNA:

    2/2 Celebration tracks

    9/16 MDNA tracks

    Like a Virgin

    Open Your Heart

    Papa Don't Preach

    Express Yourself

    Like a Prayer

    Vogue

    Justify My Love

    Human Nature

    Nobody Knows Me

    Hung Up

    Candy Shop

(bold songs are songs she never performed in Australia)

Imo S&S was more of an oldies tour than MDNA was. S&S had 25 tracks in total (both legs included, minus "Doli Doli" and "Get Stupid") of which 20 have never been performed in Australia, with 9 of them being songs from HC. MDNA has 22 tracks in total with 18 of them being songs she never performed in Australia, while LAV, OYH and EY were voted by fans on facebook. So I really don't think those weren't worthy of her fan's support, especially not in Australia. I personally don't like both setlists. I think she should not focus on playing her most well-known songs. Songs like Bad Girl, Nothing Really Matters, Deeper & Deeper and Everybody could've fit well in the setlist of MDNA, but she tries to please her casual fans and plays OYH, EY, LAV, LAP and Vogue, eventhough she already performed some of them those on her last tour. So I think she does care a little bit about her fans if it was her who decided to perform those songs.

Oh, and btw...fans were complaining that she didn't play more of the old songs on S&S

  10. She looks really beautiful in this video...but it's my least favorite of all three.

Anyway, can you imagine how fantastic it would be if "The party it's over, buckle up little bitch" is an introduction to the "Gang Bang" video?

I thought so too! Maybe the driver is a metaphor for Guy Ritchie always telling M to back off when she was just being who she was. So in Gang Bang he's gonna be the bitch she's telling to drive + We'll get Basic Instinct/Justify My Love scenes at "the motel"...Ohhh yeah... ;)

Oh my god, I just noticed that Brahim was taking over the wheel when they kicked out the driver! Gang Bang is coming... :stir:

  11. I just hope that those stupid crowd noises are not part of the video, so people can actually listen to the song! I'm not gonna judge the video by now but I'm gonna compare this to the teaser of GGW, which was way better than this teaser, imo. I really don't like the song to be honest and don't think that people will like it better than GMAYL and GGW, but that's not the point. I think they should've focused on releasing singles/videos (this album has a LOT of single-worthy songs) instead of focusing on the tour, which could've started in late August or September. Well, this all leads to another complain about the "non-traditional" promotion of the album, which is really nothing new. But since this was Guy O fucking up, it gives me hope this means the end of his job as M's manager :stir: . The sad part is that it means that MDNA, which is a really great album had to flop in order to get this fucker out of M's team so this won't happen with her next album.

    So....this is for Guy...

    "Bye bye baby bye bye

    It's your turn to cry

This time we have to say goodbye

    So say goodbye

    [...]

The first time and the last time

You can forget about it baby

Forget the rules, forget the fools

Forget your fears, forget my tears

You can forget about it baby, bye bye baby bye bye

You can forget about it baby

'Cause it's the first time and the last time

    You'll ever see me cry

    You f*cked it up"

  12. IV REDEMPTION

I'm Addicted -> Madonna getting stronger from the love she recieves from her newest crush. (Brahim?) He makes her feel young his gives her strength, which could be an explanation for the Kung Fu stuff in the performance.

I'm a Sinner -> People say Madonna is a sinner, but in fact it's them criticizing her what makes her stronger. She likes being a sinner because it's the only way she can live her life the way she wants it. She's free to love who she wants and free to have whatever religios belief she wants (Cyber-Raga).

Like a Prayer -> The sinner-train brought her home from her journey and now she's free.

Celebration -> final redemption, absolute freedom of mind soul and spirit, etc.
