    (bonus track)

  2. Girl Gone Wild is the strongest contender for full performance, in my opinion. Another one could be Love Spent, because it wasn't performed everywhere during the MDNA tour and it might work well with Avicii's production. Beautiful Killer would be unlikely, but I can see her pulling it off.

Gang Bang or Falling Free, as a video interlude or as a sample during a different song's performance.

So, if you ask me: Girl Gone Wild / Love Spent / Falling Free / Gang Bang are the strongest contenders. I wouldn't mind if she ignored the album and maybe the last one too.

  3. I've already said it before and I'm gonna say it again...

I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED ABOUT THIS ALBUM! My dream producer for M is actually working with her and she's having a lot of fun and seems to be very passionate about it, which is ALWAYS a good sign when it comes to her recording process and you all should know that!

I also recall @, which I officially crowned the queen bitch of this forum, being here for Diplo before it was announced they're working together as well. So you should all leave her alone! As excited as I am about this album I have to admit that I'm still a bit worried, because we all know that her last two albums spawned a few of her worst songs ever and you never know if that's going to be the case again or if she's going to create another COADF/Music/ROL. With excitement there is also a bit of worry and that's normal. So, I guess I understand what chelle meant.

Anyway the fact that some people here have worries of Diplo being a bitch to M if the album flops is completely uncalled for and should not be a point of discussion at this time.

  4. I prefer MDNA over Erotica. Which is my least favourite album of her. Shit now I voiced 2 unpopular opinions in one post :p

Express yourself, don't repress yourself! I think Erotica might be among my three least favs as well...and yes I prefer MDNA over it as well, but only the version I have on my iTunes, which has a slightly modfied tracklisting:

    DISC 1:

    1. Girl Gone Wild

    2. Gang Bang

    3. I'm Addicted

    4. Some Girls

    5. I Don't Give A

    6. Turn Up the Radio

    7. I'm a Sinner

    8. Beautiful Killer

    9. Masterpiece

    10. Love Spent

    11. Best Friend

    12. Falling Free

    DISC 2:

    1. Give Me All Your Luvin'

    2. Superstar

    3. B-Day Song

    4. I Fucked Up

    5. Bang Bang Boom

    6. Love Spent (Acoustic)

It flows so much better than the actual album! You guys should try it!

  5. Yeah, for an 80's soundtrack video, it's actually quite involved believe it or not....lol. Love this song, I've actually always preferred it to LIB, which it often gets compared to. The whole WTG era was never my fave M look (mainly the hair) but I actually don't mind it darker in this video. The poofy blonde always looked a bit Golden Girls to me.....lol.

At this point I would take ANY of the songs from WTG performed live.......yes even Can't Stop is fab! Love that bridge.

I agree with the bold text.

I actually think that S&S would've been a great opportunity for this song to be performed. It could've worked PERFECTLY instead of La Isla Bonita tbh.

  6. Everybody is one of my all time favorite eighties tracks by M :excl:

I can't believe she decided not to include it permanently during Confessions & she only sung it once for MDNA.

I knowww ugh... Everybody is one of my favourite 80 songs of her too! I actually love the YCD mix the most, but this song rocks in every version.

Everybody would have been so much better than LIB in the Confessions Tour.

    :hurt:

I think that Everybody could've worked on every tour since CT. Of course that version would've been the most perfect thing ever, especially in that already perfect section. (LIB was the only imperfection. It sticks out like a sore thumb.)

It would been perfect instead of Music on S&S. The whole "homage to where I came from" tied in with that "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" intro would've been so much more appropriate for Everybody, especially since that was her first single and was what really made her rule the world. "Dance and sing, get up and do your thing" -> PERFECT

And last but not least MDNA. She played it once for it's 30th anniversary, which should've made her include it right from the start. The tour lacks some of the good tracks imo. Physical Attraction, Bad Girl, Nothing Really Matters, Deeper and Deeper...all of them could've worked on this tour, instead she decided to play most of the tracks she performed during the last tour. Everybody would've been perfect as part of the encore along with Celebration, imo.

    NO!

Everything would've been better than that already overperformed song in one of it's messiest version, which she performed AGAIN one year later during S&S.
  7. I think it's fairly overrated, but I reckon that it's a good song. Never really cared much for it, but it has grown on me over the years. Very good production and I love the eerieness of the song. My favourite part is the little Shanti/Ashtangi sample somewhere near the end of the song. I think it could've PERFECTLY as an interlude if there had ever been a Ray of Light Tour.

  8. What's funny is that the reason some of her singles are "forgotten" is partly because of her. Had she'd ever performed RM (the Girlie Show was a lost opportunity to do that) or made a video or put it on one of her greatest hits albums, more people would remember it as the big hit that it was. I can really understand her resistance to stuff like "Cherish" or "This Used to Be My Playground," but RM is right up her alley these days.

SOMEONE START A PETITION AND SEND TO GUY AND LIZ!

    This.

Everybody could've been one of her signature songs too if she performed it on every tour as encore, mostly and re-released it numerous times like she did with Holiday and that song didn't even have a video.

I think the only way she'd do Cherish would be on Guitar and TUTBMP has never really been one of my favs, cause it really just drags on and never reaches a peak, which is why I believe she has never done it. It's just way too slow and cheesy.

  9. Is there a video of this? She probably forgot the song exists and thought they were asking her to sing the Fontella Bass song!

I think Jamie King said he tried to convince here to play Rescue Me. But you know how Madonna is these days...

Playing songs like Candy Shop, Human Nature over some real forgotten HITS. Yes, Rescue Me was a hit and so were I'll Remember, TUTBMP, Take a Bow, Cherish,...she has so many great songs that deserve to be played on tour but she keeps ignoring them. I'm pretty sure the crowd would go WILD over a performance of Nothing Really Matters or I'll Remember.

Lol, if she ever performes Rescue Me it'll probably end up like Rain as an interlude that features one line of the song, repeated over a different song. Like the word "RAAAIIINNN" repeated over Here Comes the Rain Again from Annie Lennox. :lmao: If she wanted to play an Annie Lennox song on her tour, why didn't she play "Sing" instead? :dead:

  10. Sorry to drag this up, but I just saw this. Thank you Crux my darling, but just to clarify, while I sometimes act the fool in off topic and have a bit of fun there, everything I say in the Madonna section I mean and it's not intended to shit stir or any of that nonsense. We're all entitled to our opinion, just don't dictate what can and can't be discussed because you happen to disagree with it, that's all.

But that's exactly what you're doing, hun. You keep bitching about everyone who thinks Diplo is a better producer than Avicii. I mean, it's okay to be entitled to your opinion but trashing everyone who thinks otherwise is unfair. That said, I'm gonna keep my mouth shut about you for now, because I'm more insterested in talking about the album.

I hope both producers deliver and everyone will be flashed and positive about this album once it's released. I can see this album ending up as a really good and upgraded version of Music/American Life/Ray of Light. Acoustic guitars/Lots of Instruments/Samples mixed with dance music or cool electronic beats.
