  2. I just read the most sexist, ageist and pathetic article when I googled Madonna. The so called "journalist" Polly Hudson from the Mirror should hang her head in shame. Sick to death of female journalists who should be applauding Madonna for proving women can be fabulous and inspirational at any age, instead choose to write drivel like this. Madonna looked incredible and is the biggest female star of all time. Polly Hudson could only dream to look and be as wonderful as Madonna. Article from the Mirror below.

It would be so easy to make fun – but it would also be very cruel.

There comes a time in every OAP’s life when they can get a bit confused, or distracted, and lose track of things.

And so, let’s all spare a thought for poor old Madonna, 148 (OK, she’s actually 54) who had a bit of a senior moment on Sunday, wandering out the house without her trousers.

Through sod’s law, Madge didn’t forget to dress her bottom half on just any old day – when she was off to get her pension or going to bingo.

Instead it was the day of the 2013 Billboard Music Awards.

Luckily the celebrity youth of today seems to be very kind, as basically everyone at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand politely turned a blind eye to her forgetful faux pas.

Luckier still, you have to admit the old girl’s still in great shape, so she almost pulled off not pulling on any trousers.

In fact, if you didn’t know the sad truth, you’d almost think she had worn this suspendery get-up on purpose, in a desperate bid to look edgy. But obviously she would never have done that.

Despite looking much younger than her years, there’s the famous old adage that ladies of a certain age should always stick to: just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Madonna might have forgotten the bottom half of her outfit, but she’d never forget that.

Looking at the journalists picture, it doesn't come as a surprise why she's so bitter towards Madonna. She's obviously got issues with older women who don't conform to society's beliefs.

    I love this reply:

"Let's talk about your horse teeth shall we? It's not because you have them that you should go to Ascot. A googling of your name got me the pics of an ugly woman with bad hair dye job, fake teeth and a face shaped like a pear"

    :rotfl:

  3. Please! :D She reeally needs a darker hair color and basic style/new look to mix in w/ (hopefully) a rockier sound mixed in with classic funk. NO more electro, r&b/ hip hop god awful duets or the like. Late 70s./early 80s very basic sounds are coming back. A song like Everybody would prob. smash right now! lol. People 'seem' to be getting fed up with the overproduced, clubby/cheeseball sh*t that Pitbull and David Guetta keep pooping out,

  4. It's funny... everyone goes on about Madonna not having a big voice, not being a "true singer", "she can't sing", her songs are not hard to sing and anyone can do it, etc... And yet, 99% of the time, covers of Madonna songs (the few that there are) are HORRIBLE.

Whether it's how the song is being sung, the useless and unnecessary vocal acrobatics (as if that's what makes a good singer nowadays...), arrangement, etc... and as proven by Mariah's useless commentary... they all just do not "get it".

Madonna's songs were never meant for vocal showmanship. They are about storytelling...performance...attitude...confessions...songs to be sung from the heart, not from the head.

But so much of the industry, and the public... and certainly with the ridiculous abundance of tv talent shows with everyone vying for their 15 minutes, to show off, to win... seem consumed with vocal acrobatics, and showing off, belting and high notes...as if that is what makes a great singer.

But sadly it seems forgotten that music, and singing, is so much more than that. It's one thing to be an entertainer...it's another to be an artist.

Just goes to show how this person that everyone says "can't sing", can't even have her songs properly sung by "real" singers...

    THIS.

    I couldn't agree more.

  5. I know it's not American Idol, but a few weeks ago, "The Power of Good-Bye" was sung in the 6th Danish season of the X Factor by Stephanie Ravn Carlsen, who was mentored by Ida Corr and eventually finished 5th. I actually think her performance was better than any of Madonna's live performances of the song.

    :lmao:

This is why I cannot watch anyone perform Madonna's songs. No one ever get's it right.

Aside from this girl screaming her way through, her interpretation didn't sound convincing for such a powerful song. They should have made the cunt perform a Kelly Clarkson song instead.

  6. Skin:

The final 90 seconds are trippy and mind blowing....."I'm not like this all the tiiiiiiime, I'm not like this all the timmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmme". Love it.

    Frozen:

The orchestration in the middle of the song is soo beautiful and dramatic. Just heaven.

    Erotica:

"My name is Dita, I'll be your mistress tonight." As Whoopi said: "the greatest line to open an album ever".

    Justify My Love:

"What are you gonna do, Talk to me.....tell me your dreams, am I in them?"

    Vogue:

    ".....Get up on the Dancefloor"

    I'm Addicted:

The breakdown at the end "MDNA MDMA MDNA MDMA"

    Bye Bye Baby:

"You're so beautiful....what makes you feel excited? ...what wakes you up inside?

Does it make you feel good to see me cry? I think it does, that's why it's time to say bye-bye!"

    "Don't Tell Me:

The breakdown and the orchestration in the final minute is wonderful.
