  1. Super Bowl...... That was an Oprah sized "WOW!"

Have to agree the Superbowl version was the best, even if short. Girlie Show a close second, especially the intro and the bit where she walks over the dancers down the catwalk.

  2. From day one Madonna has had her haters, because she has never taken any shit, has always proved the naysayers wrong and is the master of her own destiny. She has never been a victim and never really played the weak female role. Some women hate that, lots of men hate it as well. They will attack her for anything they can, and age is the most obvious these days.

I find it sad when women attack her for her age. To me she is a role model for women. She is hard working, top of her game and always holds her own despite the attacks from all sides.

There is always a degree of sexism in the attacks, and sadly a lot of it from women. I do find, controversially, in a lot life, that women are sometimes a lot more sexist against other women than a lot of men.

  3. Given the exhaustion reported during MDNA any new tour should incorporate a some time off between legs, two or three weeks to rest and recuperate.

She should look at Oz and NZ January, Asia soon after, South Africa during this time as well. Europe April - June, North America July & Aug, residency at MSG in Sep (she can be based at home for a month) and South America Nov.

She should then head to her home in London and do a residency at the O2 for as long as is needed (she could do the same in New York at MSG).

  4. Flop UK fan :laugh:/>

He's been her bodyguard and driver forever, since she bought a house in London basically. He's been seen mainly around her when she was doing something in Europe for the past few years, but lately he's been following her everywhere. They'd make a great couple, rather than the lifeless twinks we've seen her with in recent times

I am a fan of Madonna. I do not tend to follow her staff, although in his case I would make an exception. He is a handsome guy and he could guard my body.

  5. You probably met the wrong people. That fucktwit downsized unemployment from 20% to 8% in less than ten years and the mainstream corporate media is against her for wanting demonopolize them, so probably all the ones you spoke to were fucktards who believe anything the corporate media has to say. That fucktwit is the best president we've had in history. Look it up.

Well we will have to agree to disagree on her. Her approval rating is low and there have been mass protests against her and her policies. Everything in BA is hugely overpriced, inflation officially reported at 10% (reality is its 15% or above - some even estimate over 20%), heading towards economic abyss, renationalising industry thus reducing confidence and inward investment, turning its traditional allies against it. Yes she is doing a great job.

  6. I thought she was meeting the president yesterday!

I am all for her meeting world leaders, but not that fuckwit. I spent three weeks in Argentina in November and did not meet one person who had a good thing to say about her.

We did a city tour and they stopped outside the hotel she stays in. The only thing they said was "This is where Madonna stays when she is in BA". I felt like it was some sort of holy pilgrimage to the promised land.

  7. $489,708 with 8,705 people in attendance.

Could you imagine Madonna pulling those lackluster numbers, to say the least? It is kind of like really??

Not sure if anyone mentioned Gaga numbers in Tallinn? 16,191 at the Songs Festival Ground compared to M's S&S at 72,067 at the same venue. Not MDNA related but worth comparing as I understand it is an open venue which does not limit capacity to 16k?

  8. I love all this hysteria about competition. Who gives a shit about how much someone else has sold, or if they sell more than Madonna or make more money? The MDNA Tour has been hugely successful so far, and whether or not it surpasses S&S is irrelevant. If it was important to M to make more than S&S or Cunt Bubble, then to put it simply she would. The fact is she can shift a shitload of high priced tickets and make a huge amount of money for herself and promoters, and when it comes to touring that is what counts.

After 30 years, Madonna is still a touring force. She puts on innovative and unique shows with stunning settings and choreography and is not afraid to take risks. Even her less well received shows as still head and shoulders above other artists. Celebrate the fact you love an artist who is capable of this and who does not rest on her laurels, rather than worrying about sell outs or who is making more money.

  9. I wish that were true. I could name about 10 countries off the top of my head that you are not allowed to visit.

You can visit. My boyfriend and I holiday all the time in countries where being gay is illegal and have been to Egypt, India (when it was illegal), Sri Lanka, Gambia, Senegal, Bahrain etc where homosexuality is outlawed. I feel we must visit such places as it helps normalise it for the people who live in these places, and they see we are not what their government portrays us to be. I have had nothing but tolerance and acceptance all over the world, and the only place I have ever experienced homophobia on holiday was in Key West of all places.

Please remember the USA had a ban on HIV positive people entering the country until very recently. This was just as backwards as outdated anti-homosexual laws.

  10. radio 2? well thats pretty good news coverage

Around 7 - 9 million people will be listening to Saint Steve Wright as we speak, and will have heard it. 7,500,456 people will probably agree with the Russian PM as its about Madonna and they are all cunts.
