the fact that someone so utterly unattractive, borderline repulsive and unsexy can work the pop world form a different angle and become a superstar is pretty fascinating.

the "general public" doesn't take her seriously anymore and i can relate. justin duet, baby jesus, cheeks...she just seems desperate and people don't react well to that. i don't. if she'd just be a sexy middle aged lady who still makes great music that's not aimed at her daughters age group, she'd be way more respected. it feels like she's sabotaging herself and destroying her status as an icon by catering to the kids.

i agree.. "better voice" for what it's worth but i can never listen to more than one song of beyonce. the only song i actually enjoy is "me, myself & I". she just does too much with her voice. if she would just fucking sing the song it'd be actually pretty but it's like shreeking and vibrating too much for my ears.
back on topic. mugler? ewwwwww...what a gross fuck and so 90's.

i assume if it had been a great commercial success you'd all praise it for being groundbreaking and genius.

not necessarily a rock album but definitely something more organic. i'd love for her to to an acoustic pop album (??). leave the dance crap to the remixers.

i for one can't wait for her to "grow the fuck up". hard candy has a couple of gems on it but overall the project (incl. ss tour) was a tad...errrmmm...desperate.

suedehead, can argue about wether it's fair or PC to say that she's ugly or not but the fact remains, she's the most unattractive (in a classical sense) pop star out there..... i consider that a great thing, her success is not based on beauty. it opens up a whole new world for a bunch of other dog faced but talented kids. good for them! the death of sex? so be it...i welcome it! maybe madonna will stop feeling the need to portray an old, desperate whore with her next release.
