  1. Let's refresh what we know about the demo of Rebel Heart:

"Madonna is such an individual that the more she tries to define and understand who she is, the more her overwhelming uniqueness remains a mystery.

Over a truly catchy beat and prominent acoustic guitar sound, the mid-tempo “Rebel Heart” produced by Avicii is an ode to being different.

The song deals with being able to survive when you’re rebelling against what’s been decided for you, and choose your own path in life.

Madonna’s experience adds more validity to lyrics concerning individuality. She explains what it feels like to be an outcast who decided to take a different approach to life. She reflects on how she lived hers like a masochist, alone, unable to fit in, unready and unwilling to do what society and her dad expected from her.

So she says she “took a road less travelled by, barely made it out alive, but through the darkness I survived.”

Madonna also reflects on how narcissistic she once was, and how she did everything just to be seen.

But once she had outgrown her past and started again, she never looked back and finally found herself… a rebel heart.

Great song, like most of Avicii’s work on this album." - DrownedMadonna

"Rebel Heart is a very sincere and self-critical song, and every fan can relate to its great lyrics. If in Veni Vidi Vici Madonna talks about her career, in Rebel Heart she talks about her life… in a comprehensive way.

Rebel Heart is absolutely one of the best tracks from her upcoming album, with its chorus as catchy as the chorus of La Isla Bonita. Even though it is not our favourite new track, Rebel Heart definitely has to be a single.

In Rebel Heart Madonna sings what it feels like to be not like the others – “thought I belonged to a different tribe [...] tried to fit in, but it wasn’t me” she sings – and take “the road less traveled by.” But she proudly sings that “through the darkness somehow I survived.”

The song starts with Madonna confessing that she lived her life like a masochist, with her father saying “Told you so, told you so. Why can’t you be like the other girls?”

Rebel Heart is one of the songs that have changed the most. It started as a country folk track, then it was dance with a more evident Avicii‘s touch, and then it became a more mid-tempo pop song with a fresh and happy sound. Like most of the songs that Madonna co-wrote with Avicii, it is like Avicii adapted to Madonna, not the other way around. Expect a lot of acoust guitars, but not as prominent as in the other tracks recorded with Avicii." - MadonnaRama

  2. I wasn't being bitchy, bitch. :p

I'm not putting you on ignore don't be ridiculous hoe...don't be melodramatic I'm just joking

That's ok. I'm very hard to piss off

But seriously, this thread is the only place some of us have to put all of our excitement and frustration with the confusing info (or lack of it). And that's so fun to me! It's such an exciting time to wonder, to get your hopes up, to live the bless that is being a fan of this woman. I just ask you guys to stop asking us to stop showing our emotions. Yes, we know it's only 2015, but we want to get hype or to get down and express ourselves anyway :)

  3. Omg just fucking wait it's not that hard. Take a chill pill

Excuse me? Did you see me saying anything out of the ordinary? I'm just a wishful fan waiting for Madonna. I don't need to take any chill pill, thank you. Don't confuse me with any impatient and intolerent fan wishing she would do what they want her to do. Now can you guys stop being bitchy with other people for no reason? You know, is not a thing anymore since the 1990s. M knows that, is all about the revolution of love and treating other people well. If you think this is stupid or are not on board with the new conciousness that will shape humanity, just ignore me please.

Dear, Fabien Baron IS Interview Mag

Honey, I know. I was making a reference about Fabien in the new era.

  4. Not instagram but since she's in Malawi, there's this blind item on CDAN and it definitely is about her

I didn’t even know these two people knew each other or ever even crossed paths. It turns out though that they do have one thing in common and that is female empowerment and the two of them started a foundation that helps teens in other countries. The particular goal of the foundation is to bribe tribal leaders with cash not to mutilate the genitals of female tribe members. Apparently cash gifts can work miracles in overcoming a centuries old tradition. The teens are then sent to a city to go to school and have a life away from their tribe. So far, the two women have saved about 200 teens from the practice. They each essentially have bottomless wallets to help as many as they are able but have issues getting someone to the tribes at the right times and making the payoffs and coordinating logistics. They are helping two or three people at a time and feel like they are doing great work considering they have only been doing it for about a year. The two women are A+ list but in entirely different fields. One is a singer and the other an actress. They both like to trow out that fake British accent from time to time.

    She's my hero.

  5. I was discounting the minutes she wasn't alone on the Bowl stage.

I wonder if Katy will have as many people on her Bowl stage?

She was never alone. If you mean share the stage with other singing performers then by your logic she was alone during 3 minutes (Vogue).

  6. Just btw - technically she has done one "private concert" that we know of for sure.

Friday July 3rd 2009 at the O2 Arena in London she did a private concert for "Net Jets" management and clients.

    https://www.netjets.com/

This would have ordinarily been a "Friends & Family" dress rehearsal (night before opening of a world tour) but here it was billed in the O2 Arena and by Madonna's management as a private concert sponsored by "Net Jets" and tickets were issued with that info (I've got one at home somewhere). It was perhaps technically also the 1st show of the 2009 Sticky & Sweet Tour then - although it was strictly invite only.

And if you are going to do a dress rehearsal show anyway, why not let a company watch and get free transport during tour? Smartdonna.
