I would personally scrap Nicki, Cardi and that rap group (champagne rose) ...I’m iffy on Maluma and Anitta. She likes Maluma but I don’t think they worked on anything and with Anitta, every interview she mentions M but doesn’t disclose a single word on whether it was music related or if they were just in the same studio or what...I’m starting to have doubts. Or rather, I’d rather it be Mirwais, Starrah and Billboard producing a Madonna album. 🤣🤣

Sorry, but Anitta has confirmed in more than one time on the Brazilian press that they recorded a song and she can't say anything beyond that for now.

The same way she reconnected with Gaultier, she should reconnect with Fincher and make grandiose film-like music videos. It’s really what is deserved for this era.

But they never disconnected? Gaultier always work with her in interpolated tours:

    Blond Ambition - YES

    Girlie Show - NO

    Drowned World - YES

    Re-Invention - NO

    Confessions - YES

    Hard Candy - NO

    MDNA - YES

    Rebel Heart - NO

    Magic - YES

In Portugal, we only use gostoso in a sexual meaning or in a food context, although it's a  Brazilian expression.

Blaya song it's about having sex with someone

Yes, because you have adopted that term in this way. But gostoso can be applied to a nice day, for example.

But yeah, I have no doubt Madonna will use it in a sexual way. She tattooed Gostosa in Rio during the Like aVirgin segment in MDNA*.

I was just pointing out that is not the translation to good sex haha.

*Edit: she didnt' tattooed after all, but she kept screaming that :lmao:

Faz Gostoso means that someones is a great fucker in bed. So and so "faz gostoso".

Gostoso means tasty, attractive, that gives pleasure.

Errrrr....??? What? Faz Gostoso DOESN'T meant that.

Faz Gostoso can mean: make it pleasant; make it good; make it tasty; make it wonderful.

That's what it means and it can be applied to all circunstances those phrases can be applied to in English.

Sex is just one of them 🤦‍♂️

Okay, so... Some info I got from someone apparently in the know. It's not world shocking information, but interesting nonetheless and time will tell how trustworthy this info really is, but I decided to share it regardless. If only for us all to have something to discuss during the holidays:

    • Do not expect anything in 2018.
    • Official info will begin to be shared little by little in the first weeks of January.
    • At the moment the definitive track listing is not done yet.
    • She really put her heart and soul into this album. No fillers here.
    • "Killers" is indeed a killer track.
    • She didn't play it safe. She took risks musically and he really means RISKS. Some of the tracks people will be like "WOW, what is that?!" At first listen. Of course a couple of tracks are less innovative, more commercial. But even those are top notch.
    • Some tracks you can't compare to any other music out there really, at least not that he knows of.
    • The only thing is that it's not a very cohesive album as a whole. But the tracks are so out of this world that you couldn't care less about cohesiveness. but according to him, the album is not messy (as he thinks "Rebel Heart" was).
    • It's no secret that there will be Latino influences on the album so to a certain extent people who love tracks like "Spanish Lesson" will be happy. But of course the Latino tracks do not sound like "Spanish Lesson". They are way better. The influences on this album are incredible.
    • In his opinion, this is her best album since COADF.

    Don't shoot the messenger...

So much posts about something that no one really knows anything about...

The only thing shared by M regarding new music, intentionally or not, was that whiteboard with what looked like were names of songs. An evident thing from those song titles were the influences from African, Portuguese, Brazilian and Latin sounds. This all points to a complete reinvention of M's sound, taking the next album clearly in the direction of music infused by sounds from across the globe, and not just regular pop, R&B, house, etc. If that's not something you all are excited about, I'm not sure what would really please you.

To make such an album of course she needs to collaborate with people from those countries, such as Anitta, Maluma, Dino de Santiago, etc. This is not just to be trendy, but to acknowledge the origins of those sounds.

For the first time in a long time, I can see that M has had the time to put together a clear plan for her new music, a musical project designed with the clear intention of completely reinventing her sound once again. We should all be happy for that.

Okay, you do realize i'm a brazilian just like you, i know who Anitta is, the only things Anitta and Madonna have in common are ambition and hard work(there's no denying here). It really surprises me that someone who likes Madonna, a woman who took risks, stand up for the gays, when almost nobody had the courage, talked about HIV, women empowerment , a person who has political opinions (and not only political), and is not afraid to make them public unlike Anitta can think she's a good option for a collaboration.

    We clearly see things differently.

If you remember my first post today about this, you know I feel the same as you feel about the collab. You even agreed with me.

Don't twist my words, I'm just saying let's hear it before judging it.

If she uses Anitta as she used M.I.A. we won't even notice.

No, she's not taken seriously, and you know it.

That's your opinion, not a fact. The facts point to otherwise.

I don't agree with you, she isn't, right now she's just a product that is still profitable. It doesn't matter how much they try to sell an image that she's some kind of model and brave feminist for showing her cellulitis for example.

This sounds exactly how the Madonna detractors sounded for most of her career.
