If she does 2 killer new songs she doesn't need to perform an old hit. She's Madonna, people don't need to hear an old song to assimilate who this is.

That's a Brazilian magazine and she didn't confirm anything.
The colunist assumed all these info from his ass based on one interview that she says the story about shitting herself, how much she respects Madonna, how professional Madonna is and that she teached Madonna some Portuguese words.
She never said Madonna sang those words or that is a funk song, much less that is called Faz Gostoso.

There was no "unused footage used for something else". The lingerie line ad was cancelled before she shot the scenes in Buenos Aires. She changed the concept there. I doubt she would use guns on the ad.

If it's indeed a different approach, I hope it's a visual album instead of a documentary. Only us fans would be interested in a "inside Madonna's life in Lisbon doc".
Whereas in a visual album more people would look into it if it gets hype.

I think it's because she doesn't want people to think it's an announcement of a single or an album. That happened when she posted a fan art of Beautiful Game last year.
Some fans have forgotten she did that several times during the Rebel Heart sessions, posting fake art covers for Rebel Heart and Unapologetic Bitch.
