I don't get what's to "lol" about in your comment. But major artists nowadays invest in music videos to keep their name on everybody's mouth. It is more important than selling music after all. If your name is popular you can brand every product imaginable and earn millions (Rihanna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry - remind me when they had hits for the last time? I don't see their music videos getting any cheaper, on the contrary). But I don't want Madonna to do that because of product branding, instead I wished she would do it for her art. At least that's what I would do it in her place.
