I’m intrigued by all the 9 and 10 scores from the writer for Alternative Press, particularly Come Alive as that is one song that we know literally nothing about!
Where can i find that?!

Apple is doing these town hall events called “Today at Apple” at Apple store’s and she’s going to do one to promote the remixing possibilities of the Garage band app, using her single Crave. People will soon be able to sign up for the event and there will be a video she recorded where she talks about the process of recording the new album! More info is going to be released soon!

here's a little teaser trailer for the first music video of the first solo release by Mirwais in YEARS! It features a vocal effect that could also be heard in instagram videos posted by Mike Dean and Madonna during the recording sessions of Madame X, probably linked to the song "Looking for Mercy".

We will see that in particular on the album in the song "Dark Ballet", inspired by a historical figure well known to the French ... "[In this song], I say that this world where people are governed and dominated by the illusion of celebrity and fame; governed, dominated and enslaved by social networks; governed and dominated by oppressors who constantly discriminate against people; this world, I refuse to be part of it. "Dark Ballet" was inspired by Joan of Arc and her story. It's like a junction point. Madame X and Jeanne d'Arc merge. I speak her words and her language and I say, "I am not afraid to die for what I believe in". And that's exactly what I feel. "

Also from the Tetu interview:"Killers who are Partying" is the first song we have worked on. It's a political piece, but everything Mirwais and I do together always ends up not becoming political. Because it's also his way of thinking. The guitar we hear in intro is a sample that I captured myself during a fado session. The sound of this guitar is exactly what I wanted. I really felt inspired by the melancholy and the feeling of this music, by the sound of Cesaria Evora, Morna and Cape Verde. The authenticity of the music that I hear everywhere in Portugal has touched me. I wanted to appropriate this music and make it sound more modern. I asked Mirwais, "What do you think you can do with it, does it inspire you?" Obviously, it pleased him a lot, "reveals the songstress of "I Rise ".

Dark Ballet: "as if Daft Punk remixed Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody!!!"

Unleash the Mirwais portion of the album. That has always been my main focus of this entire album, to see those two genius and creative minds unite once again to create sweet magic! I think the Mirwais stuff will be the real heart of the album. That is where the emotion, the innovation, the magic and creativity will be! It was never to be found with Starrah or Mike Dean.. for me at least...

Everyone in Europe, vote for Duncan Laurence, from the Netherlands! He so deserves this win!!!

You're going to regret it, yeah, ciao Papi

It's a really current track and her role is quite big. Sort of the perfect follow-up to Medellin, with a role reversal. M responds to Maluma's parts, with a fun back and forth. And those distorted reverted vocals throughout. I REALLY like it. This is actually more the sound I envisioned for M's album to some extent. Latin infused, modern, current poppy and catchy as fuck. Her vocal delivery is fun and fresh!

Don't you try to rescue me
I'm who I will always be
And I'd rather be alone
Then pretend to make your perfect home
I told you not to waste your time
I'm not a girl you drink like wine
If you press pause then I'll retreat
I will not grovel at your feet
So... by by byee -
I told you not to waste your time
I'm not a girl you drink like wine
If you press pause then I'll retreat
I will not grovel at your feet
Please don't fall in love with me
I would rather be set free
I can not give you my all
I will not make myself small... for no one!
And don't you forget it, Ciao Papi!!!

Oh wow! But it's just a promo single or the third?
Promo only, every promo single gets it's own image! Looks better on Spotify and Apple Music and the likes!

And apparently some of the lyrics:
"We can light up the dark
Everyone has a spark
Don't tell me to stop
'Cause you said so
Your future is bright
Just don't turn off the light
Tell the sun not to shine
'Cuz you said so" -

To me the refused entry is just bullshit. The Eurovision event and venue has a military style tight planning in order for everything to run smoothly. According to several reports M's rehearsal time was allotted well in advance, so everyone would know she would be coming. The idea of someone physically blocking her entrance and making her wait in front of a door is crazy! This broadcasting rights stuff is probably all stuff that is going on behind the scenes and I'm pretty certain she's just doing her thing, preparing for the show to her best ability and focusing on her performance!

MADAME X: official reviews are in: MADAME X is a hit with the critics!

People put too much importance on reviews. At the end of the day they are also merely just an opinion by someone. Okay, they are professionals so you might hope to expect a certain amount of skill and objectivity, BUT, it's an opinion nonetheless. I mostly read reviews to get some info on tracks before we get to hear them for ourselves. It's always nice when you can read glowing reviews and a project is a critical success, but good or bad reviews won't have any influence on my own opinion of an album!
